Dress runs “true to size”. Jersey material on top and a thick material on the bottom that had a little stretch to it. Beautifully crafted- fit like a glove. Dress was comfortable and hugs curve expertly, so shape wear may not be needed. I highly recommend it.

Rented this "Show Stopper" for a wedding, and it did not disappoint! Comes with a light slip under that stayed put, and the length was perfect- falling a little under the knees. Paired it with animal print Louboutins and received compliments all evening. You can comfortably wear your shape wear under if needed, but the dress defines your body well without any. I highly recommend this dress for any formal events you are invited too; you will feel confident and comfortable.

The dress is absolutely beautiful! It fits like a glove and the fabric is thick and forgiving while being airy and comfortable. I was able to wear Spanx under it and also a half cut bra; I had no issues with either showing. I received compliments all night and felt fabulous! The length was perfect with 4 inch heels- covered my shoes, did graze the ground a little but not a trip hazard. You will love this dress- definitely one you will remember!

Let me start by saying what a great experience I had with Rent the Runway (RTR)! My initial selection was unavailable, so I was sent two other selections the Stylist thought I would like. When none of those dresses worked, I called RTR and was sent via overnight mail my initial choice, the Marchesa Notte, and this blue number. This dress was the one- fit like a glove! It is true to size, and thick enough for you to wear your Spanx underneath if you want/need to. I did not wear a bra- I personally couldn't make one work because of the cut out. I am 5'3, rented the long, wore 5" heels, it covered my shoes, and still touch the ground; to me, that made the dress look even more elegant, and was not a trip hazard for me. My husband and I danced the night away, and I received many compliments. If you are curvy, and larger bust, this dress is a great pick for a sexy, classy look. I highly recommend it!
