Dress runs “true to size”. Jersey material on top and a thick material on the bottom that had a little stretch to it. Beautifully crafted- fit like a glove. Dress was comfortable and hugs curve expertly, so shape wear may not be needed. I highly recommend it. 

I love how this dress looked! I wore it for my senior graduation photos and the ruffles, neckline, and overall fit photographed really well. The fabric has a lot of stretch and is really comfortable. 

If you like your dresses to be fitted and on the tighter size, I'd recommend going with your usual size. However, if you prefer more room, I would size up.

This is a perfect fit.  I could dance and move in it. I am 5'7" 135 34c. I wore a 42. I want to buy this dress. Perfect for so many occasions. 

This dress is very form fitting but so flattering. Would definitely rent again.

With over 45 positive reviews there really isn't any new ground to cover so I will just join the chorus of reviewers who loved this dress. 

What makes this dress different is the pleated fin in front that serves two practical purposes... first it hides and bloating or food babies (the value of this cannot be overstated). The second is that the flap accentuates and celebrates a woman's curves by making the waist appear smaller. Another feature is that the fabric at the neckline can be adjusted.

I loved everything about this dress! It was extremely well made and very flattering. Definitely rent this dress! If it were cheaper, I'd definitely buy it!

Absolutely loved this dress. I rented it for work but ended up needing it for a funeral for a close family member where we were wearing black with a "hint" of green. It was so flattering, comfortable, and the bodice was modest enough, which was my one concern. The top is made of a thinner material than the skirt, which surprised me. But you can only tell from feeling it. The more scuba like fabric of the bottom is what provides the structure for the folds at the waist. The pleats actually worked to conceal a little stomach without adding bulk, which was the risk I took that paid off. Definitely would rent this again.

Worked great for my husband’s Christmas work party!

The dramatic ruffle flourish is fantastic and also covers any bloating. The fabric feels like high end leggings. Pro tip - put your deodorant on after you put on the dress. If not, as you pull the dress over your head you will end up white smears down the entire garment!

I was so impressed by the fit and the quality. It does a great job of covering my post-baby belly and hugged all the right places. Highly recommend this dress!

My partner loved how this fit me, but I felt a little self conscious that it was too tight from the rear view. I think it looked incredible from the front and as others have stated the fabric is amazing and forgiving. It was too long on me and I think if I sized up the shoulders might be too loose to stay up. I chose not to wear it to the event I rented it for but may give it a try before returning. Note: shapewear probably would have smoothed the bumps I wasn't happy with but I don't do shapewear as a rule. 

I rented this dress for a conference. It was so comfortable and covers the stomach area very well. It was incredibly flattering and I’d definitely order it again. I honestly considered purchasing it!

It was form fitting and it worked well for a cocktail event. The pleating looked fantastic and made me feel thin but I still needed to be cautious in photos as any weird angle made the pleating and ruffles look like a stomach bulge. A big plus is that I felt so confident in this form fitting dress because of the ruffles and pleating in the front.

The stretchy fit is awesome. This style worked great for a performance I recently did. Would highly recommend. It would look good on any body type.

I was worried this would just be a safe option but I loved this dress and felt great in it! It hugged my curves and was so easy to move in. Offered cleavage but kept everything in place and the pleated ruffle detail on the front made me feel less self conscious about my tummy.  I got so many compliments and looked great in pictures! Plus I love when I can just wear my favorite bra and some Spanx and not even think about straps or lines or anything. A bonus was the material not wrinkling and no zipper. My husband couldn't make it to the wedding so I got ready solo, long car ride and a hotel stay so I had no one to zip me in or out of the dress. And you couldn't tell I'd been sitting in the car for over an hour. Honestly, this dress was perfect. I'll definitely rent again. 

Gorgeous dress. Make sure you step into it to avoid deodorant stains!   Sexy but appropriate for a non conservative workplace. I wore it to a meeting and then to a cocktail party as well as to a theater opening night. 

I'm typically self conscious of my mid-section when wearing a form-fitting dress, but the structure of the dress gives you an hourglass look and makes you feel snatched. 

I wore this dress to a nice restaurant for dinner.  It was perfect and was very comfortable!  No zippers or buttons- it just slips on.  Also flattering for a larger bust ( I wear a 36H).  

If I could buy this dress, I would.  Felt like a million bucks.  Hugs and hides in all the right places:  the front accent was beautiful.  Love the neckline 

Wow. This dress is stunning and SO FORGIVING.  The small ruffle detail in the torso really makes this LBD so much fun.  It's a stretchy scuba material - very stretchy and comfortable. Rent it!

Wore this for a charity work event and it did not disappoint. I've been loving this brand for work meetings and events. Tight hugging material but length and details make it sexy yet appropriate. 

I rented this for my father's funeral. While this dress was comfortable, my husband said I looked dowdy and every drape, ruffle, and fabric fold that is supposed to "hide lumps actually added more than I have, so I looked worse even using undergarments. This brand fabric is thick and ends are not hemmed. I have worn this brand before for formals and it's hangs okay but this one had too many ruffles that didn't hide my stomach it actually accentuated and created fake fat rolls for me.

Gorgeous dress. Thick fabric. Go at least one size up as it's extremely fitted. 

The material is stretchy but very thick, so sort of like thick Spanx. The arms were really tight on me but not so uncomfortable that I couldn't wear it. I got numerous compliments and the ruching on the front is perfect to hide any spots you want to hide! Beautiful

La petite robe never lets me down! I highly recommend this LBD for work or a night out! Dress fits true to size. Make sure you step in and pull up, there is no zipper. 

but after I walked out my hotel room I realized it had tears in Seams on arms. It fits amazing and I had a ton of compliments. RTR rectified the situation due to damaged dress 

I rented this for work. I was worried it would be too much of a party dress, but when I put it on, I felt confident and powerful (and a little sexy). Like the other dresses by this designer, the material is thin and stretchy but doesn't show too much. 

I got it NWT, which is always a plus. I'm a 2 or a 4 depending on the brand, and I rented a 40 IT (4 US) in this designer. 

Lots of reviews mention camouflage aspect of this extra material, so I tried it. Fail! It was the first RTR dress that I did not receive a single compliment on. It really bulked me up. I’m size 6/hourglass, so I wasn’t looking for a miracle. It is comfortable (do step into it).

Fit true to size. Beautiful shape. I wish I had more occasion to wear it.
