very nice
the material has some stretch so it was very comfy. relatively thick material helps hide my lumps. the front does have a true "pleat" so be aware that there will be that extra layer of material at the front. It worked fine with my body type...but I did read that some others found that it didn't work with theirs. I got lots of compliments.

I know that the dress is styled to be a bit boxy...it was ever so slightly big on me. However, I would not size down to 8. Super fun dress and really comfortable.

Comfy but still dressy
It fits ever so slightly larger. It has a stretchy material, but it still hid my middle section problem area...I think that it was all the stripes. Over the course of the day, the material stretched a bit more...so I felt that my shoulder was exposed a tad bit more and the hem was lower.

Super cute style and very comfortable.
I paired it with a 3/4 length cropped suit jacket top...to make it work appropriate. (I did take the jacket off while at work, still great!) Super comfy.

Not my favorite
The fit is true. I didn't like the style as much in person. The body material is a "fuzzy" boucle type...it was too messy for my taste. That fabric characteristic made the overall impression to me was worn looking.
