Second time renting this one - super fun for any occasion.  TTS and the wool is itchy, but wearing something underneath solves that problem.  

This is the perfect cape. Very Blair Waldorf. As with capes, it fits a bit large so I would recommend sizing on the smaller side. I wore an XS and had room to layer. Warm too!

Not sure why but this cape made me feel very French... wore around the holidays and to the theater and it was perfect.  Happened to be a mild winter - normally this would probably only keep you warm early to mid fall (mid 50s).  It also doesn't look like it in the photos but it's made of a super soft wool/cashmere blend.   This gives it a more casual look but also makes it feel like a snuggy.

Loved this. The fit is forgiving and covers well. I usually would wear a 14, this is a 12, it was fine!

I love this cape so much that I used two of my Unlimited spots just so I could have one at all times (one needed dry cleaning but I wasn't parting with it until I had a replacement). Earns lots of compliments, lends just a little drama to an outfit, and can easily be dressed up or down.

Warm and comfy yet chic wool cape! Running true to size we recommend using this piece to pull together your fall look. Pair it with a skirt and top or pant and top combo! 

I was excited to get this piece, as I have been stalking capes this season, but wasn't sure if I should invest. 
I was surprised at the material, it was almost like fleece, and being so, with so many wears it was pilled. 
I wore it with a cream Kate Spade Blouse, slim black pants and heels to work, and all the ladies wanted to know the designer and all the men wanted to know if I was flying somewhere. 
I liked it so much, I wore it again over the weekend with black leather leggins, high boots and a long sleeve black tee shirt.  You definitely have to plan winter weather around it as you are warm to an extent, but are no way  warm enough in the arm situation. 
I would rent this again! 

Fit great. Felt very fancy. It kept me warm for the most part even in December in NYC. 

Because of the lack of sleeves this cape will not keep you warm if it's colder than 50 degrees. But it will be cozy and chic for warm autumn days.

Fit was true to size but forgiving around chest and waist area. The material was warm enough for a fall day/night in Wisconsin. Thank god this was available on RTR because I was not looking to buy a coat only for an occasion. Considering what it actually costs to buy this coat vs. the rental is a pretty awesome steal. I was expecting a thicker material and not to be made in China, so for its actual price I am not impressed with its quality. However, it served its purpose, and I loved the cape look with a semi/formal dress.

After I realized I never wanted to swap it back - I decided I needed to buy it. It's super cute and a fun mixup to your coat collection- especially if you wear a lot of black coats. 

I rented this top with my unlimited membership to wear to work. It was very high quality.

Pro: beautiful fabric (wool and cashmere blend)  very warm.

I styled this piece with a rented rented mock turtleneck printed top, black leggings, powder rockstud flats and a teal bag for an extremely chic frenchy look.

Very comfy, fabric felt soft and cozy, got crazy compliments all day long (from people I knew, from total strangers).  I will have to do some soul searching on whether I should just bring it home for good.

Casual and comfortable - good for weather that isnt too cold

It fits perfect! I haven't had it long but have worn it a few times already. I plan to keep it awhile longer in thc closet or just buy it. :)

I loved the look and comfort of this cape- good fall coat- b/c once the cold begins your exposed arms will be cold.

First time wearing a cape but tried it since it's a great way to utilize my Unlimited membership. I absolutely loved the cape! It finishes any outfit from a dress for work or jeans and flats. I sadly had to send it back bc it's just not that warm as it's getting colder. I will rent again in the spring likely.

this is a nice, classy piece for your wardrobe which looks expensive but also has some unique style to it.

The fabric for this cape was thick and high quality. It was perfect over a long sleeved dress with some tights and boots for a chilly night. Wish I owned this one!

The textile is so soft and warm, and it looks incredibly chic while functional.

The cape coat was not something I would typically purchased but was excited to rent. The overall fit was true to size. Plan to wear a slim fitting shirt underneath, no thick sweaters or heavy shirts because it won't lay flat in the front. It's not something you want to wear on a very cold day either, your arms are totally exposed.  This coat was cute and trendy and great with slim fitting Jeans and High Boots!

I got so many compliments on this coat! I live in Arizona, so in the winter mornings are cold (40') and afternoons are warm. This coat was perfect! I wore it to work over a dress and got compliments all day long. Kept me warm without getting hot. I generally wear 6/8 in dresses and have curvy hips, but a 6 fit perfectly for my smaller shoulders.

I have kept this piece for months, because it's AMAZING! The weather is finally getting too cold for it here in NYC so it's going back to RTR tomorrow. Sad :(

This jacket is so cool. The arms are exposed, the jacket is fitted, and the cape makes it look sophisticated and super modern. Yes, it's a cape. It felt crazy at first but it goes with everything. Jeans. Yoga pants. Dresses. So many compliments.

I'd been eyeing this piece on Theory and was excited to see it on RTA. Thought the material was going to be the stiffer, cotton variety but it's a softer, natural felt material. So while it looks super sleek, it feels like a warm hug. Am going to buy this one. 

Loved the material and received many compliments.  It's a great look to wear casual as well. This coat is a great fall piece.

I want to keep this forever. I love the fit and the look. It is perfect for fall. 

I've worn it with a black sleeveless blouse with has a high neck w/ embellishment to fill in the open neckline of the cape.  I've also worn it with a dark blue long sleeve blouse and you just fill in the jacket opening with a necklace

I wore this cape jacket to a work event. It looked sleek and pulled my outfit together. The fabric was different than I expected, either it was pretty worn -or- it is meant to have a pilled look? It's attractive, but had it been a higher class event I would not have wanted to wear it. 

Very cute and classy looking, but somewhat impractical as the sleeves are open and don't offer warmth. I could've figured that out probably prior to renting, but oh well. Was great on a cool spring day.
