This dress was sent to me as a replacement for my first choice dress which became unavailable. I wanted to love this as I really like Ulla Johnson's dresses but overall it didn't work and I sent it back without being able to use it for my event. I'm normally a size 6 but it fight very tightly around the mid-section; luckily I'd ordered the 8 as backup and while that fit better in some places the straps on the shoulders constantly fell down. The part that flits out around the chest was bunched up in kind of a weird way. My partner said it looked like a costume rather than a cool dress!

Loved this dress. Will say it was the tiniest bit tight. I'm about 5'8 and 125 lbs and this was very very fitted. I didn't get a back-up size with my order though and didn't want to be bothered requesting the next size up (a 6) and the 4 worked. I just usually don't like things tight, but my boyfriend said it looked like the 4 fit perfectly. I'd also add that one other woman at this wedding of about 125 guests had the exact same dress, and many other women were all wearing really similar dresses so guess this is a popular kind of look right now. Hit a little above halfway up my thigh, so is a bit on the short size.

The size 2 fit like a glove and remained comfortable throughout the whole wedding. I think I had it on for about 10 hours! 5 of those were spent dancing. I wasn't in love with this dress from the get-go but needed a gold bridesmaid dress and had limited options. I didn't wear a bra with this as the strap would've shown through the back; I'm a B cup size so that wasn't really an issue. As the day wore on the dress grew on me and I liked it more and more and naturally received lots of compliments because it's so sparkly and really stands out.

This dress fit me perfectly. I wore the size 4 and it fit like a glove. I was able to wear a bra no problem, it didn't show through the slits at the side and it was a normal bra. I received a lot of compliments at the wedding, and felt like this was the perfect dress for a black-tie-optional wedding -- dressy but not overly formal. I'm 5'8", 28-inch waist and pretty much always a 4; this dress was no exception.
