I’m normally between a 4-6 and the 6 fit like a glove, though the 4 wasn’t too far off. Lovely dress, loved the mix of fabrics and the deep neckline and slit. There is a bit of a train - it was the perfect length in front but dragged an inch or two in the back which was strange to me and easy to trip over (I’m 5’6 and wore 2.5” heels). Between that and the limited movement (both upper and lower body) this dress was great but not perfect. Still loved wearing it for the ceremony part of a black tie optional NYE wedding.

I really wanted this piece to work as the fabric was soooo luxe and beautiful, but I genuinely could not even get it past my hips to see how it would fit. I am typically a 2-4/Small sometimes a 6/Medium depending on designer/brand. I rented the 2 and 4 (which were actually labeled as S and XS on the tags) and the S/4 had me wondering if even the 6 (I’m assuming M) would fit. In case it helps anyone my size, my measurements are 35-28-38 so if your hips are 35” like mine avoid the small/4!

The fabric on this is so lovely and the design is unique and beautiful. However it took me 5 full minutes to stuff myself into this dress in size Small. This was a last-minute backup when my original dress couldn't ship. For a formal LA wedding, it was a nice balance between a tasteful floor length and some skin with the deep v and back. The blue velvet was beautiful. I got many compliments. However I found the cut and style to be a bit plain. Also the adjustable ends of the straps were wound up and unable to be straightened, but that was minor. Overall, glad this backup worked, but I prefer pieces with a little more personality!

I'm typically a 4 but can be anywhere from 2-6 depending on designer. I rented a 4 and 6 based on reviews that said the waist/hips ran tight - but at the last minute RTR was unable to ship the 4. The 6 that arrived was too large with too much material. I was disappointed to find that the waist tie does not actually cinch the waist. There is a panel of fabric that simply sits across the waist, and the long ties simply hang/tie over it. I think my usual 4 would have been perfect. Don't size up!

Rented this clutch for a formal wedding and it was the perfect pop of color. It was sturdy and high quality - and larger than I expected. I carried a phone (iPhone 12 mini), liquid lipstick, small wallet, mask, tissues, and bandaids. More than I thought I'd be able to! It did make it quite heavy, but that's on me for deciding to carry it rather than use the shoulder chain it came with. Overall would definitely recommend and May rent again in the future.

I had multiple strangers come up to me at this wedding to tell me how much they loved this dress! Some fit notes: I am typically a 4 (35" bust, 28" waist, 38" hip) & after reading reviews I rented a 4 & a 6. The 4 was ok through the torso but JUST loose enough at the hip/thigh that it became a frumpy church dress. RTR was able to send me the 2 which fit perfectly! Hugged at the hips, flatteringly fitted waist. The back slit means it's easy to walk in even though it's fitted and tea length.

Wow this dress is beautiful! Note that it has next to zero stretch. It was an overnight shipment since another dress didn't work out, and sizes were limited. Judging by reviews I figured I'd either be a 6 or a 4. (My measurements are 35-28-38 and I'm typically a S/M or 4/6.) The 4 is definitely tight but in a flattering way. I ended up unable to attend the wedding I rented this for, so I definitely plan on renting this one again in the future.

Originally rented for rehearsal dinner, but with postponing the wedding due to covid, happy to have something white to wear on what would have been our wedding day. Rented this for a party celebrating my company's 20th anniversary. Sized down for my backup. If I were chasing the sexy look I would have worn the XS, but it was just too much booty for a work event. Went with the S, taped the neckline after this photo to make it a little less risqué. The material has a beautiful sheen to it in person, is very smooth, doesn't wrinkle. Rented this for engagement photoshop & overall I love how it worked out. The colors, pleating, deep V neckline, and movement were all exactly what I was hoping for - just also some unexpected downsides to adjust for. While the 2P was the perfect length (I'm 5'6 and wore 2.5" heels), the waist was a little higher than natural waist and a little lower than empire -- so it hit at a strange part of the rib cage that wasn't super flattering on my waist. Also the top part puffed out at the sides, making me look wider. I fixed this by using fashion tape on the outside to bring the extra material together and it made a BIG difference. Another small downside was that while all the skirt fabric meant the dress looked beautiful when in motion... it was actually pretty plain when standing still, just a column up and down. This meant for our photos I was pretty much always making sure the dress had some movement to it. Definitely a great rental, just some things I had to address in order to make it the right dress for the occasion.

Rented this dress for a very formal wedding and was nervous about the fit since I couldn't quite tell what size to choose from other reviews. I'm typically between a 4 and 6 so just went with those. The 4 for PERFECTLY, especially the waist which gave a nice cinched waistline but had a little wiggle room for dinner. The floral lace pattern and eyelash lace sleeves make for lovely details, and I loved having a conservative cut that was also form-fitting and an eye-catching color. Perfect balance. Can't say enough nice things about this dress.

Rented this for a friend's wedding. I'm 5'6 and 130 lbs and I wore the medium - I almost could have worn the small but would have been uncomfortable after dinner since there's basically no stretch. The fabric/flow/movement of this dress is beautiful - made the length tasteful and not frumpy. The cut was definitely low but for me that balanced out the length. I did get a spot of hairspray on the front as I was getting ready and that stuck around all night looking like a waterspot so this material doesn't really hide spots well. Everything else was great though, would recommend!

This dress was a last-minute SOS when my first pick shipped but was not delivered. I'd had my eye on this one just in case something happened. RTR was great as always and got this to me overnight. I took a major gamble on sizes since there were no reviews, but it was 100% TTS - I'm normally a 6 and the 6 fit perfectly, didn't even need to try on the backup 8. I was a little worried about the sleeves since off-the-shoulder doesn't typically work out for any kind of movement. But these had enough stretch to them to not be too constricting, and also worked totally off the shoulder as well as a few inches up to a more drastic V which allowed for more movement. I'd seen it both ways in a quick Google search and did both throughout the night! The slit keeps it from being TOO conservative, the color was beautiful, and it fit perfectly for not being self-conscious about the fit changing after eating a real meal. If you're hesitant with very few reviews on this one because it's new to RTR -- go for it!

This dress was perfect for a semiformal outdoor wedding in Texas. It was tasteful for being around my family, and still had some personality with the little cape and cutout in the back. Color was the rich purple I expected. I was glad I'd read reviews that it runs small. I'm normally a solid 6 (occasionally a 4) and the 8 fit wonderfully -- tight enough up top that I didnt need a bra (34C) and straight-cut enough at the bottom that it didnt hug in weird ways. Zipper was finicky as others mentioned but I didn't have much problem with it. Overall a wonderful experience to have the perfect dress waiting for me at my hotel. Thanks RTR!

This dress is so beautiful in person! Thick quality fabric and a really rich dark emerald green over black. The M (my usual size) ended up not being able to ship, but I was surprised that the S fit perfectly. The bust was even almost a little big, but some fashion tape held everything in place and I didn't need a bra. As other reviews say, this shows lots of cleavage, but I think it's balanced out by the classy color & embroidery. I felt a little overdressed for a beach wedding - evened it out with minimal accessories and more casual wedges. The zipper was a little finicky and the area around it felt a little stretched out (another fashion tape area), but otherwise no signs of wear. Thank you RTR for the wonderful dress!! Didn't even need my backup dress they sent (though it was of course fun to try on).
