I liked this overall, but not in love. Still, really cool to try the cape look. It true to size for a 14 with a little room to spare - the material didn't strike me as especially high quality looking, and it came too rumpled to wear to work without (ideally professional, but instead in my home) pressing. Something about the material seemed a little cheap to me. Also, this is a one button blazer, which I forgot to note -- on large chested peeps one button tends to gap open (I already know this) and so I usually avoid this look. This was OK but I should have noticed before renting. Overall due to the fabric, the rumpledness, and overall unflattering fit (on me, fine for others) because of the one button -- not the highly polished super chic look I was going for, but fine for everyday at work, and fun to wear the cape. Got lots of cape compliments!

I got tons of compliments on this dress - and the red color was a standout (what a great vibrant true red!), perfect for the holidays. I wore it to a fancy brunch with friends at a downtown Detroit hotspot, then to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra performance of Mahler's Resurrection Symphony. I got a ton of compliments from strangers. I really really enjoyed wearing the cape, and it kept me warm too. So much so, that I am going to rent other caped items! The length was good (not revealing) on my 5'4" frame, perhaps just a tad long to my knee.

Cute jacket, a nice change from a blazer, I rented this for work. However, everyone thought I was wearing my "outside" jacket ("oh are you on your way out the door?"). I couldn't wear this open as it is shown in the model pic because it was too big, limp, and boxy that way. It was much more flattering zipped all the way up under the chin with a large roll collar, so that the jacket skimmed my shape in the waist/bust. Cute, not my favorite, but worth trying. I work in a creative field so my jacket doesn't need to be ultra conservative. This made me look rather bad-a** for a business meeting, I thought :). Fit just fine on my curvy 14 figure, plenty of room for my 38E/F chest.

This fit great, true to size with a little forgiving room. Just the right length for me (on the short side for work but good overall). This was extremely long lean and flattering in look - the pic I uploaded was a quick snapshot and does NOT do this dress justice. Really cute and my BF absolutely LOVED it (it's not even that exciting, it's more classic, so I was surprised!). It hugs but skims the curves nicely. Again, neat quilted fabric. This is a pretty design, elegant, and fun to adjust how much cleavage to show off. I like the black sequin look, and not many dresses are off the shoulder. However, it was super uncomfortable with a scratchy lining and pokey boning in the bust area... so much so, that I couldn't stand the thought of wearing it all night, and wore a gown from my closet that I already own to my event instead. In future if I had the right undergarment/spanx/slip to go under, I might try this again. Also really tight/clingy in the stomach area, and I don't have a large stomach for a size 14, not flattering in that region.

This was an elegant cape look - a lot more volume under the arms than shows in the website photo. It seems shorter in person than it looks in the photo, to me. It also blouses out around the chest/shoulders a lot (lots of body in the felted wool fabric). It was not the long lean body skimming look I expected, but rather a bit bulky and puffy -- but still pretty elegant despite that. Just sharing the downsides first. Overall I really liked this and would rent it again, high quality, pretty colors - I wish the blue was on the outside actually :). Got compliments, perfect for 40 degree weather this week with layers.

I took this photo after I removed my spanx for the night, so it's a little less flattering ;), but overall this dress was great. It was mod and cute for work, with bell sleeves. It was a perfect fit (with the spanx) for my curvy 14 figure, and I liked the length - short enough to be sexy, but just (barely) long enough to wear to work. I wore it to work (I'm an interior decorator), and to two happy hour events after work, and then to my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary at their dance studio. It stood up all all those busy events in one day, and was fine for dancing in.

I originally ordered the 14W but it was damaged or not returned, so they sent me the 14. It was too small unfortunately. It was a bit small for a 14, I assume the 14W would have been just right for my curvy figure (190lbs, 5'4", 38E/F, hourglass). I would have worn this for my (formal masquerade ball) event if I had recieved my original size, because it's really dramatic, and also sexy (baring shoulders). I found I could sort of adjust the amount of chest showing, which was nice (I THINK it would kind of stay... maybe). However, the arms on the 14 were too tight for me to wear (and I don't have especially large arms for a 14). It kept pulling the dress down because they were so snug, exposing too much. Also, on me the stomach was much too revealing - rather than the ruching gliding over things and camo, it rather highlighted rightly and made me look paunchy. So, I think in a correct size, this would be a great dress - I would rent it again in a 14W for a future event. Strapless bra needed; boning and top/bodice area is really itchy and uncomfortable, FYI.

This dress is cool and unique. The back is pretty/low with a gather, and the side embellishments with beading are really pretty and unusual. My boyfriend commented on how pretty that part was right away. The clingy smooth fabric of this dress didn't drape as well as most jersey dresses I try, however, and it really showed the shape of my size 14 stomach through the cling of the dress :(. There was no camouflaging that. Also, I am short, 5'4'... but that is mostly in my legs. I have a large chest and a long waist for a short person, so this meant that the embellishments and hip area of the dress hit my way to high, in a weird spot around my waist. If I shrugged the dress down it draped much better and the beading was much more flattering, but of course it wouldn't stay like that. It was like the whole dress was short of shrunk up, and it was SEVERAL inches too short even with flats. Like tea length, exposing my ankles completely. If you are petite I would recommend this, it's a cool dress (just didn't work for me). The 14W was right on size wise except for length.

I didn't end up wearing this, because it wasn't flattering really - but it's kind of a cool dress. Completely covered with sequins. However, it's more boxy than it appears on the site. This had shoulder pads, and is very short, but the XL was generously sized (again, a bit boxy and oversized). The sleeves are not close fitting after the elbow, sort of a bell or loose shape (kinda odd, also not flattering on me). Overall, an unusual and interesting dress. Not quite right for me, but give it a shot!

In the grand tradition of women's plus size garments, this somehow just lacked sophistication in the details of the cut and finish. It was nice, and I'd wear it to something that needed a semi-conservative look (like a formal work event?). However, it didn't have a wow factor. Also, it was cur revealing under the arms - as in, it would reveal the sides of any bra worn with it :(. It just didn't have any oomph. I couldn't wear this to my event. It just didn't work on me, strang proportions/gathers, and not much room for a drapey size 14 (snug in the waist). Also, n the hangar the zipper could BARELY go up and down, so it wasn't very functional. This is really cute, great color and nice quality - and unusual! However, it didn't work for me because I am a curvy size 14. I couldn't wear this anywhere, let alone to work - the front gapes open almost to my belly button, and the rear was too snug on my round behind, which left it much too revealing for my office. Admittedly, it runs more average than small for a size 14R. If you don't have a super round bottom and a 38E+ chest like me, a 14 should fit just about like a 14 :).

This jumpsuit was a little short waisted. I'm only 5'4'', and my legs are short, but I do have a large chest at 38E (which takes up volume in a jumpsuit) and I'm slightly long waisted for a petite person. I enjoyed wearing this jumpsuit except for the short waisted part that was annoying. It's not an OUTSTANDING piece, but it's a staple that's more fun than just a blouse and pants. Overall I recommend giving it a try. Also - the legs on this were JUST long enough to wear with flats, a smidge shorter and they would be highwaters. It's just Eloqui, so it's fun and cute, but not super high end. Material was smooth and lightweight and comfortable.
