Not sure why the photo is sideways, but the dress was lovely and I got tons of compliments.
I'm a definite pear and was a little uncomfortable with how it fit every curve, but lots and lots of positive feedback. The top piece, that buttoned in the back of my neck, seemed like it was a tad too long. I had to pull the dress quite low to get it to lay flat, so it was a matter of finding the exact point where the top piece laid flat but the bodice didn't go beneath my bra. Once I found that, it stayed put. I wore my own silver crystal shoes, and rented the crystal clutch, got blue toe polish, and silver nail polish. The gala felt clime a prom and this dress was perfect. It was in very good shape, but had a couple of loose threads. Overall, great first experience.
