I rented this for my best friend's wedding rehearsal dinner BBQ as well as for my blog (www.the-fbombs.com). First of all, I have to say, it was a tad shorter than I thought BUT it was PERFECT for the occasion. The fabric was light and perfect for an outside BBQ and the colors in the dress were even better in person. If you are renting this for a more formal wedding, I would find another dress as the fabric leans it's self for a more relaxed affair. BUT if you are looking for something fun for the end of summer, I say go for it!! It was a beautiful dress!!

I attended a party at Kate Spade in Chicago so I of course wanted to wear the designer without spending a fortune so RTR came in handy! I absolutely adored this dress!! I wore it to my engagement party in March so I loved the sleeves for keeping me warm in the cold spring of Wisconsin and the back of the dress is super fun! This dress was the perfect dress for a beautiful Valentine's Day dinner with my boyfriend. I opted for the 4 because I liked the length better but the 2 fit as well. Very true to size. My family likes to dress up for Christmas Eve and this dress was absolutely perfect for the occasion! The color is stunning and even though I'm not an animal fan, the jeweled hummingbird and lizard on the dress were super cute! (It actually took until dinner time for my sister to figure out there were animals on my dress!) I wore a 10 (which is a size 4), the fabric was thick and VERY well made, perfect for Christmas in Wisconsin, and the dropped neckline added a little flair. There is a weird dropped waist line, which I was prepared for after reading reviews, so I wore spanks and it took care of any pooch after a fabulous meal! All in all, I'm so so happy with this dress! One of the many reasons I LOVE RTR is their customer service and I cannot thank Jessica H. enough on finding the perfect replacement dress for my theater company's 60's inspired Christmas cabaret! I ordered another dress in a 2 and 4 but the 4 was late due to the previous renter. Everything happens for a reason because this dress was PERFECT for preforming on stage!! I could have gone with the 2 but since I was singing, I wanted to have more than enough breathing room so all in all the dress is true to size. First of all, I want to thank Jessica H. for helping me with this dress! I originally ordered the 2 and 4 for a two day 60's Christmas cabaret performance my theater company was putting on but unfortunately the 4 was not returned in time by the previous owner. I was a tad worried about the 2 not fitting after reading the reviews (there is a white slip inside that is SUPER small and tight) and Jessica helped me find an alternative dress! Thank you girl!! Good thing I found another dress because this one would have been a disaster for performing on stage! I didn't want to waste the dress though so I wore it to my theater company's Holiday party. I figured it would be ok to wear because the bar would be dark and no one would see how see through it was! haha! Over all, this wasn't my favorite RTR dress but the style is super fun! This dress was so perfect and made me feel so wonderful that I'm not sure how to put into words how I felt wearing this dress! Where to begin!? I wore this to my theater company's annual gala/auction event and it was a HUGE success! The theme this year was The Drowsy Chaperone, which is a musical that takes place in the 20s, hence the headband and pearls, and I have to say, I couldn't have picked a more perfect dress! I got compliments ALL night and the dress fit like a glove! I would have gone with the Long length but opted for the Regular because I was on my feet either talking to donors or working the event. I wore a very low heel but if I was in 3 inch heels or higher I would have gone with the Long length because I'm 5'7". Also, I didn't wear a bra because the sequins and fabric are thick enough but if you have a larger chest, I would say a sticky bra would do the trick. I decided to wear the 4 since I would be running around a lot but either size would have worked, the dress is very true to size and I was able to move with ease all night! I really have nothing bad to say about this dress, it was my favorite RTR dress to date and that says a lot because I've worn a number of them! The sequins were perfect, the back is perfect, and I felt like a star the entire night!!

First of all, before I talk about the dress, I wanted to thank two amazing stylists, Sheridan T and Megan B, for helping me find this dress!! I was notified by both a phone call and email that the original dress I ordered would not be available in time due to one size being too damaged and the other was not sent back in time, so I was offered another dress free of charge. The ladies stayed at work and were back and forth talking to the warehouse while trying to find me a backup. After about 10 or 11 suggestions we came to this dress and I couldn't have been happier!! The original dress was shipped out (it was an RTR miracle!) so I wore this dress for the rehearsal dinner and the original dress for the wedding. Thank you so much ladies for the help and thank you RTR for the amazing customer service!! You have a customer for life!! :) Now to the dress! I have to say, the picture of the model does not do the color justice! I took two pictures inside and one outside and the outside picture is exactly how the color looks in person. It is so vibrant and beautiful that you can't not stand out! The lace was stunning and perfect for a rehearsal dinner outside on a farm in Nashville. Both the 2 and the 4 fit but I decided since we were going to be outside all afternoon and night that I wanted a tad bit more room to move. It's true to size and super comfy! The zipper is a little tricky because of the lace but all in all it was a BEAUTIFUL and comfy dress!! Thank you Megan and Sheridan for the suggestion!! I absolutely LOVED the dress!!

I rented this purse for a southern wedding on a farm (hence the boots) so I was looking for something conservative to go with the Shoshanna Lace Ceclie Dress. I originally was going to wear nude heels to match the purse but since Nashville got some rain that weekend, the boots seemed like the better choice. The purse still worked perfectly with the outfit and fit absolutely everything a girl would need for a night out! It's a very deep purse so I not only fit makeup and money but I fit both my iPhone and my boyfriend's! The studded clasp gave the purse a little flare and was a perfect match to the buckles on my boots and my silver earrings!

This dress was super, super fun! The colors look even better in person and the low back is just stunning! I have to say though, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because this dress runs super small and wouldn't be appropriate for a church wedding. That being said, it was PERFECT for a casual outside wedding on the lake. First of all, I'm between sizes with some designers so the 2 was a tad too tight in the hips and super short but the top and bust were perfect. The 4 was perfect on the bottom, less tight and not as short, but the top was a little big; nothing that fashion tape couldn't fix though! I just taped the back of the dress so it didn't look loose and it stayed all night. I am 5'6 1/2" almost 5"7" and I have to say, I would never wear this to a church wedding because of how short it is. If you are taller than 5'7" I would say this dress might not be for you since it just covered my backside. I would say though, this would be a fun dress to change into for the reception! Also, it doesn't look like it in pictures, but the fabric is very stretchy. All in all, it was a little big on top but perfect on bottom and was a super fun dress for a casual, beautiful, outside wedding on the lake!

Another great RTR dress!! Although I am normally a size 2 and all the other reviews said the dress was true to size, I was worried about the dress not fitting because I was not able to get a backup size 4. When the dress arrived, I was very happy that it not only fit but it fit perfectly! The chest is a tad tight if you wear a bra but if you go bra-less like I did, you will have no problems. The dress hit right above the knee which was perfection for both a conservative ceremony and a very fun reception. I accessorized it with the kate spade new york Putting on the Ritz necklace which complimented the dress very nicely without taking away from the gorgeous, rich color! Also, the dress photographs really well so if you have an engagement shoot or anything where you know you are going to get your picture taken a lot, I recommend this dress!! Thank you RTR and kate spade new york for another fantastic rental! Ps...the pockets in the front and the beautiful open back were super fun and made the dress that much better!

This necklace was an absolute stunner!! The pictures do not do the bling justice but it was perfect match for the kate spade new york Grape Soda Pop Dress; it really pulled the outfit together. It wasn't so big that it took away from the dress and the sparkle was just right. I would hands down recommend this to anyone and I will most definitely be renting this beautiful necklace again! I have to say, this is my favorite RTR dress to date! It was absolutely beautiful and fit like a glove! I felt like a walking RTR billboard because I was getting compliments all night. It was the perfect dress for a church wedding and Chicago reception; I felt classy and incredibly fashion forward. If you are thinking about renting this dress, I HIGHLY recommend it!! Now on to the details of the dress, I have broader shoulders so unlike everyone else, I didn't need fashion tape on the cap sleeves BUT for everyone else, I suggest fashion tape. I received two sizes, a 2 and 4 and the 4 fit like it was made for me! It wasn't too tight or too loose (made for dancing the night away) and the hem hit right at the middle of the knee, PERFECT! I have a small chest so the bust was a little loose at first but I wore a sticky bra and it filled out the dress perfectly. All in all, I'm so so happy that I rented this dress and I have to be honest, I realllly wish I didn't have to give it back!! Thank you RTR!! I can't wait for my next rental in a couple of weeks! :)

Since I own this purse I knew it was true to size BUT looking at the picture you might think it was a tad bigger. To help everyone out, the clutch fits exactly two lip glosses, a few (three depending on the size) makeup brushes, cell phone without the case, cash, credit cards, and drivers license. If you want to keep the case on your phone I usually take out the makeup brushes. Like I said, I own this purse in a different color so I knew I would love it but I highly recommend it to everyone else! :)

I wanted to show two pictures, first on how I styled it and the second how the color looked in true light so here we go! :) I cannot say enough amazing things about this dress!! First of all, it fit perfectly! After reading the reviews I knew it was true to size and wanted to get a 2 BUT the 2 was not available for the time that I needed it so I kept my fingers crossed with a 0. Well, I lucked out because it fit! I'm small in the waist and work out a lot so I was lucky that the one size I got worked. The 0 was perfect because if I went any bigger it would have fallen off my shoulders. That was another great thing about the dress, it was conservative (I wore it for a Southern wedding) but it was just the right amount of sexy in the back. The detail around the waist was beautiful and the poofiness of the skirt was just perfect!! It was a great dress to dance the night away in and I was just so happy with my first RTR purchase! I also wanted to show how I styled it because well, it's always great to get ideas! :) I styled it with black open toed shoes that had some bling on the front, a RTR Diane von Furstenberg Handbag (which I own in brown so I knew I would going to LOVE the black) and some RTR dangle sparkly earrings (sorry they are hidden by my hair!). All in all I LOVE RTR and cannot wait to rent again!! Oh and once I put these on Facebook all my girlfriends asked to borrow the dress! I told them the RTR secret and they will be renting soon!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress!!
