I went with an xl as the dress is on the shorter side and thought that would give a bit more length. And given the large elastic style waistband figured that would work out. But ended up being too big and didn't fit or sit correctly on me.

I really loved this dress and so did my friend I was traveling with.
It is very short so which is why I went up to xl the elastane waist allowed for a better fitting despite the larger size and gave more length, I did notice a slight tear in one of the ruffle tiers but wasn't noticeable to others.
