I was called "stunning" twice, which basically made my life. Cried when I mailed it back.
Basically high quality spandex, fit like a glove and held everything up and in, no need for a bra. Length was perfect with 3.5 inch heels.

Strangers stopped me in hallways to compliment this dress
No bra I own could have been worn, so I wore those sticky petals (I had some from Target, bought some new ones on this site, they worked well too.) If you are small busted, moving your arms might make opportunities for nip-slips, but I kept pulling the skirt down to keep the bodice flat against my chest. The entire dress is neoprene (think scuba suit) and was very slimming. The skirt was laser cut and the size I wore had been worn before and needed to have many threads trimmed from it to keep from obscuring the black/white color blocking of the pleats. The straps irritated my skin around my arms and shoulders and I had a little bit of dry skin in the shape of the arm holes for about a day after, but that's understandable with the synthetic fabric. I'm really glad I chose the dress, it was very versatile and fun to wear.

Add a fur wrap and peacock feather headband and call me Daisy Buchanan
Boning was a little boxy since my bust didn't really fill it out. The dress was beautiful, I got plenty of compliments. The 0 fit like a glove, but I planned on eating a meal in it and still hoping to breath, so the 2 was a better choice for the whole evening. (TMI? Sorry.) The regular length was still long on me in my tallest shoes (5'1" +4.5" platform wedges) but the skirt was well inset with trumpet like panels, so deliberately kicking forward with each step made it fine to walk in without having the hold the skirt up. The waist had nice pleating of fabric to disguise that region, but it didn't slim too particularly well. I was very happy in the dress, it just wasn't the most flattering thing I've ever rented.

Fell in love with the movement of this dress
Bodice is very snug, no stretch to the fabric. The skirt sweeps around you when you walk like a dream (or gets blown by the wind pretty easily as evidenced), but was only long enough for very low heels. I disregarded the rental warnings about the dress length, but I wish I would have heeded them. I assumed since I'm only 5'1" I could get away with the R, but I'm wishing I would have tried the L to open my shoe options up a little more.

A head-turning way to welcome in 2012
SNUG, plenty of stretch though. Smaller busted people ought to be fine sans bra.

It was a good birthday
No stretch, very comfortable, skirt has great movement, boning in bodice is helpful to keep it up, without becoming painful
