Pretty dangling earrings perfect for a wedding
I really liked these earrings. I wore them with the Badgley Mischka Floral Butterfly Gown, which has a plunging neckline. They were slightly smaller than I thought they would be, but I still really liked them. They are not heavy at all; I was able to wear them all day long for a wedding that started at 1 PM all the way through the after party at 1 AM without a problem.

Pretty dress for straight body types
I really wanted to wear this dress, as I fell in love with it immediately when I saw it on the RTR website. I ordered it for a black tie wedding. The dress is VERY fitted with pretty much no wiggle room, so definitely size up as your back-up. I have an average size hips/butt and I had a hard time squeezing into it in my normal size - curvier ladies may want to go up 2 sizes as your back-up. Once on, it really disappointed me. I think this dress probably looks best on slender, straight, and/or narrow body types as opposed to busty or curvy body types. It didn't look bad by any means, but also did not flatter me at all and actually ended up making me look bigger overall because it made my body look kind of square. It's also a little long even in the regular size, so petite girls beware. (I'm 5'3", I tried it with 4" heels, and it was still dragging on the ground.) Disappointed it didn't look good on me, but I'm sure it's a beautiful dress for other body types.

Gorgeous dress perfect for a black tie January wedding
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this dress. As a petite girl with a large bust (34DD), it's pretty difficult for me to find dresses that fit and are flattering; this dress was absolutely perfect. I got so many compliments all night. I wore it with an updo, dangly earrings from RTR, and ankle-strap suede black stilettos. The fabric is heavy, so it'll keep you fairly warm in the fall and winter months. It's also difficult to tell, but the threading is metallic and looks absolutely gorgeous in person - pictures really don't do it justice. You will need tape to keep the plunging neckline in place. You can wear a backless bra or sticky cups with this, but I just went braless. I did end up safety pinning the neckline closed just a little bit at the bottom. The body is fitted and doesn't have much give, so I suggest sizing up as your back-up size. All in all, this might be my favorite rental from RTR ever, and I was so sad to send it back!

This dress is even prettier in person than online. The fabric is raised/textured and quite thick, and the colors are beautiful. My biggest concern when I rented it was that it would be too low cut - at 34DD dresses with a low cut neckline like this can unintentionally look a little too sexy for something like a wedding. There was definitely some cleavage showing, but nothing I was uncomfortable with. I do think it runs a little small as the bust was incredibly tight, and I had to go braless to get it zipped up comfortably. I had a truly difficult time deciding between my original rental and this dress. Ultimately I went with the other one, but I would rent this dress again for another event.

Classy dress for a fall wedding, with a little edge
This dress was really pretty. The material was much thicker than I was expecting, which was nice. I ended up wearing the Small when my back-up size Medium was unable to be shipped for whatever reason. I BARELY was able to get this to fit over my chest (34DD). I was able to zip it up by myself with some huffing and puffing, but I had to go braless and my breasts were a bit smashed. That being said, I think the Medium might have been too big on my waist and hips...so busty ladies, beware. The cut out was very flattering and I think any body type would be able to wear it without issue. The length on me at 5'3" was perfect with the long slit. The color is a bit darker in person but pretty and perfect for fall and winter.

Too long for petite women
I wore this dress for New Year's Eve (2015/2016). This dress definitely runs very large - I'm extremely glad I saw that mentioned in another review because otherwise I think the dress would have been unwearable. I would even suggest going 2 sizes down, at least for your back-up size, if you are short. As it was, I went with one size down (6) for my order size and then one more size down for my back-up (4); I ended up wearing the back-up 4, but I think a 2 would have been a better fit. Overall, the fit was just okay on my curvy 5'3" frame. The length was definitely way too long. While the lace back is sexy, from the front, the hemline made the dress look almost matronly. I had to "hem" it with safety pins to make the length acceptable to me. (This did not work out that well; it was extremely short whenever I sat down.) I wore it with a very large, long necklace in the front to play it up, and I wore thigh high leather boots with bare legs below. I would probably not recommend this for petite women, but on a taller frame at the right size, perhaps it would be a very lovely dress. In my experience, this rental was just okay.

Pretty clutch that holds everything
This was a great clutch for the wedding I attended. I had plenty of space for all my stuff (phone, keys, lipstick, lip balm, gum, ID and credit card), and I loved that it had an option chain; that made it easier to keep track of when I needed to move around.

Solid dress for a winter wedding (but invest in double-sided tape and a pin)
I wore this dress to a December wedding. Not my favorite rental from RTR, but it worked for what I needed it for. I was between sizes and ended up going with the smaller size for a more fitted look; unfortunately that meant that the back had a hard time staying where it needed to. I used double-sided tape to hold it in place, and I think this is a must for this dress unless it just happens to fit you perfectly. I also had the same problem as several other reviewers with the back closure coming undone very easily. I had to pin it together.

I ordered this as a back-up dress to the Ibiza Lights dress in case it didn't fit me because they didn't have the next size up available...luckily that dress fit me like a dream and I didn't end up wearing this one. I have a short torso and this dress didn't flatter my body type at all. The colors are beautiful and vibrant, but this dress just wasn't for me.

The best dress I have ever rented from RTR
I cannot say enough good things about this dress...I am deeply in love with it and wish I could own it. I wore this for my 26th birthday. I usually don't wear strapless dresses because they never stay up on me (34D here), but I read all the great reviews and decided to give it a try. The fit is true to size. I had room to wear a strapless bra underneath, so I did for extra lift. The colors are absolutely beautiful and perfect for summer, especially against tan skin. The fit was extremely flattering on me; my waist looked tiny thanks to the X pattern in the middle, and it accentuated my curves in all the right places. I got compliments on the dress all night long. You need confidence to pull this dress off, but if you've got it, it is 100% worth it.

Perfect for an all-white affair
I wore this for an all-white bridal shower/bachelorette party. I wanted something that would stand out, and that I could wear to both dinner and out for drinks, and this was perfect for that. This dress fits true to size. The pattern is gorgeous and subtle. The material is like a heavy sweater type material. It's form-fitting, but there really isn't any structure to the dress, so some might want to wear Spanx or similar shapewear underneath. Overall, I loved how this dress looked on my figure.

Sexy and classy
I absolutely loved everything about this dress...the fit, the colors, and especially the open back. It felt mostly true to size, but I did feel if my chest was any bigger, I may have been forced to size up. Double-sided tape is a must with this dress, especially if you're petite, because the material will gape in the back otherwise. If you're large-busted, you may be able to get away with going bra-less like I did; I just used some nipple covers just in case, but the pattern pretty much hides everything. I usually don't wear backless stuff because of the bra situation, but I felt very sexy in a totally different way in this dress. I highly recommend it for similar body types to mine (large bust, small waist, petite).

Great fit for a sexy but grown-up look
I wore this for a night out on New Year's Eve. This dress is form-fitting and felt very true to size. I thought the neckline made it just sexy enough while still looking classy. The dress is made of a heavy sweater-like material, so I stayed warm during the cold night. I styled it with a flashy necklace, patterned tights, and knee-high suede boots.

Not what I was expecting
I desperately wanted to like this, especially since I saw a lot of reviews of women with similar body types to mine wearing it and saying they loved it...unfortunately this was a loose, baggy, hippy mess on me. I do not recommend this for petite people simply because the shoulder would not stay on. I also do not recommend this for those with short torsos...the ruched/smocked waist, meant to define the smallest point on your midsection, fell in the wrong place for me and made my hips look ENORMOUS. Both sizes looked terrible on me. Very disappointed with this rental. I am also annoyed that I can't just get my money back on returns...I will have to settle with in-store credit. Ugh.

Feeling elegant
I was pretty desperate to wear this dress for a recent fall wedding. Unfortunately, they did not have my current size at all so I inadvisably sized down with no 2nd size...this is very true to size, I would say. I only managed to get it zipped with the help of my boyfriend. I am pretty busty (34D), so sizing down made it extremely tight in the chest - it felt a little tight but not too restrictive everywhere else. The dress was even prettier in person than it is online - the colors are vibrant and the thread is metallic/glittery. I felt very sophisticated in it, but it was short enough that it was a little fun, too.

Great dress, but I wish I'd actually gotten to wear it out!
I would love to say I had a fantastic time in this dress (which I rented to celebrate my 25th birthday in Austin), but I never got to wear it out. I felt sick after dinner and stayed the night in the hotel. That being said, I did try on both sizes beforehand (XS and S) and had decided on sticking the the XS. The dress is more true to size than other Herve Legers have been for me in the past. It is very, very sexy and not for the self-conscious or faint-hearted. I think I would've rocked it but I guess I'll never know :-(

Unfortunately I did not get to wear this out...
...as it was entirely too small. The XS would not even go over my hips. The S barely zipped up and squeezed my stomach to a degree that would be painful for an all-night affair. I am a very petite, small-waisted (25") girl and could not believe the S would not fit me. Seriously disappointed in the fit, annoyed I had to buy a dress less than 12 hours before the event, and frustrated that I only get store credit and not a full refund. Crap experience this time around. Beware before you rent.

This dress was wonderful...it's sexy yet sophisticated. Perfect for the October wedding I attended. I got a lot of looks and compliments that night. I wore it with big gold dangling earrings, gold bangles, black back-seam stockings, and black suede stilettos. I also think bare legs and nude/blush shoes would look awesome with this (my second option, but it got chilly that night!). The only thing I would say to watch out for is the top lacy part of the dress - if you have a short torso or are petite like I am, it will fit you a little big. Overall, a great first rental experience with RTR!
