This dress is so elegant and comfortable. I didn’t wear a bra (although I could have). The slit does go pretty high when you sit so for a winter event I was trying to close it to stay warm. The material is velvet with strip texture with a very vibrant almost glossy look. I would definitely rent again. I went with hair down based off other people’s pictures, but I wish I wore it up because the small cap pop shoulders were so pretty.

This dress is so cute but make note it is short. The skirt is a bit poofy so it makes it even shorter. The top is really flattering but where the fabric leaves opening near stomach area, it looks pulled apart/stretched apart in the size that fit me zipped. So I think in order to prevent that you have to go up an extra size. Not sure how that would compromise the rest of the dresses fit. I did not wear this dress because of the awkward stretch in the opening, the fact it’s so short and the two sizes I ordered the under lining showed an inch below the dress? I reported to RTR.

The color is gorgeous. The fabric is on thicker side with a little bit of stretch. Challenge is that is shows everything. Underwear lines, belly button.... I had to get a spanx to smooth out body details. I didn’t get the next size up. Not sure if it would look better less fitted? Thinking with the fold over the rest of the dress needed to be fitted. The dress did not slide down at all but the top did flip out while wearing it. I agree with others- best for small chests or size up To prevent this. The length was nice for almost 40 year momma. Overall really comfortable and very classy look.

The dress I got 2 and 4 had different necklines. I love this dress on the rack but when I put it on it was so short. I am 5'7. I usually am comfortable in short dresses but I was worried my cheeks would be exposed. (Maybe I am getting old and conservative). I ended up not wearing it. I do like the scallop lace neck line versus the second dress that had a straight lace edge and hem line.

I did not end up wearing this so I can't recall if it was true to size. My husband loved this dress but I felt "cute" in it. I think it would have felt more appropriate for a daytime wedding or shower (I was going to a waterfront evening wedding). It does have a Lilly feel to it. I loved that the detail was not noticeable until you had a closer view. Plus the online picture really doesn't do it justice.

After receiving dresses that just looked horrible on, the rtr consultant picked this dress. I loved it! The color is bright on the hanger. I did wear one size up to fit my chest but it still had a nice bodice that prevented me from yanking the dress up all night. I did find that I had to stand up straight to hide where the bodice ended to prevent me from looking like I had a pot belly. Fun flowing dress. Definitely would do this or the long version in the future

I got this for a back up dress. They didn't have a 0 in stock so I just got the 2. I appreciated the others who shared the detail of the dress. It does catch you off guard in person but on it is gorgeous. My issue with it was the hip section. The two fit well on top but it was designed for someone with much curvier hips than me... I think the zero would have helped BUT if you usually don't fill out the hip section of a dress then this may not be a good choice.

I wore this to a laid back destination wedding. (Guys weren't in ties). For fellow tiny breasted women, be warned this dress has pleats to compensate for size. I had to wear a super padded bra to prevent the pleats from emphasizing my small chest. Also, if you will be outside know that the smallest gust of wind will lift this dress up. I was flashing everyone at cocktail hour. The dress is cotton and not lined so it is light weighted. I did get many compliments as I dressed it up with silver shoes and my fancy pearl necklace. I did find the 0 to be the right size... Not too squished in.

I was so comfortable in this dress. When it arrived I was intimidated by the bright color and the thick material but on it was very sassy. I wanted to keep it. Loved the pockets and how it sat on the shoulders. Easy to dance in and not too short. I did have trouble filling out the top but that's life of a small chested gal.
