Worn for a retro 50s Themed Fundraiser
This is a stunning dress. It looks even better in person than in the photos. The fabric is heavy weight-very forgiving for any trouble areas and good for fall/winter. The silhouette is fun but conservative (about knee length on my 5'6" frame). I was concerned since other reviewers mentioned this styles runs big through the top, but I did not find this to be the case. The 0 fit exactly as expected. I've rented quite a few dresses and this one may be my favorite. VERY flattering.

Flawless!
Very flattering fit, nicely contoured. Conservative without being matronly. The hemline is an unusual length (bottom of the knee on my 5'6" frame). I loved the length, but proceed with caution if you are short.

It's "ok", not great
I really wanted to love this jumpsuit but it fell a little short of my expectations. The size 0 I received was damaged, so the photo is of the size 2. The fit between the 0 and 2 was almost exactly the same. I felt like there was a bit too much fabric around the hips area and it looked a little sloppy because I have no butt to fill it out. I'm a 34C and the top fit just right without being too revealing. I think this style would be especially flattering if you are pear shaped, but i didn't love it on my boyish figure. I'm 5'6" and the regular length would have been perfect with heels. I ended up falling in love with my backup dress and did not wear the jumpsuit.

Great color, but feels a little "young"
I rented this dress for a wedding but ended up wearing my back-up dress instead. Here's what's great about the dress: the color & the rushing on the bodice. Here's what wasn't working: the punchy fuschia color and the light fabric and the natural waist of the dress combine to make this dress feel a bit young. I would recommend it for someone in their 20s or younger. Also, I'm very straight up & down without much waist (maybe I'm a "skinny apple"?) and this dress didn't do much to create a waist for me. I found it to run true to size and was about knee length on me.

Gorgeous dress
I rented this dress last minute on the recommendation of a RTR stylist. The cheerful colors were perfect for a hot summer wedding. I was afraid the dress might be too tight or too short, but it fit perfectly and was very flattering. A word to the busty girls: I'm a 34C it was *snug* through the chest. If you are a D or larger you might want to size up. The bottom would be very flattering to a pear shape.

Perfect for a spring wedding!
My husband said I was a modern day Jackie O in this dress. It's feminine, structured, and conservative. I was nervous because RTR didn't have a backup size available on my date, so I reserved only the 0 and it was the right fit. (I'm 5'6", about 112lbs.) I recommend ordering your normal size. The dress actually seems to run a little big, but the snug lining inside would make it almost impossible to size down. At some point you just have to remind yourself that the dress is insured and quit worrying about whether the lining is going to split when you bend over. (It didn't.) The pleats at the waist add some bulk and pouf to the skirt, but somehow this has a flattering effect. I think it would be especially flattering if you have a little tummy to camouflage.

Liked it, didn't love it
I liked this dress, but didn't love it. PROS: stunning real color, clearly very high quality, conservative styling CONS: the top half of the dress is snug-I felt like it kind of gave me "bread loaf" boobs; since I'm thin I typically try to play that up but this dress doesn't really showcase a svelte figure Overall I was satisfied, it just wasn't my favorite dress ever. It was a beautiful, safe choice for a wedding.

All about the print!
The sleeves and length make this dress perfect for the winter outdoor/indoor garden wedding I attended. The long was not available, so I rented the 0 regular and it was about ankle length with my 3" heels (I'm 5'6"). I knew it was going to be short and I was ok with that, however the sleeves were also a bit short. I wore a regular bra and the "bike short" type Spanx. Because of the conservative coverage, this dress it all about the pattern! The dress is very stretchy so it will adjust to many different body types. I have a slim, straight up and down figure and the dress was pretty flattering, but I can imagine it would be especially flattering on someone with more hips and curves.

Flawlessly Sophisticated
Oh mah gah! THIS is how a $1000 dress fits! Blumarine clearly knows how to cut clothes for slender women-the lace accents around the midriff area in the front and the double peplum create a feminine silhouette. The fit and quality of this dress surpass anything I've worn before! The dark navy fabric is heavyweight enough that you don't need a bra. I'm 5'6" and the hem hit right at my knee. This is a beautifully sophisticated dress-highly recommended for women with a body type similar to mine. I have some doubts about whether this dress would be equally flattering on curvy girls due to the super-snug fit through the waist and hips and the inability to wear a bra. A note on fit: don't be afraid to order your actual size! Contrary to other reviews I found this dress to be true to size. I typically wear a size 0-2 and the size 38 was made for me! I could have worn the size 40, but it wouldn't have been as fitted.

Somewhat forgettable
This would be the perfect canvas to showcase a big statement necklace (or belt, or amazing shoes, etc). However, the dress by itself lacks pizazz. I chose this as my backup option for a wedding because the mini dress/long sleeve silhouette seems really fresh. The dress is nice quality, heavy fabric (no bra required), and not as short as the pics make it look. This would probably be a flattering choice for curvy girls, but it didn't do much for my figure.
