Great everyday dress, just not my taste
Fit was flattering and the top had a nice cotton lining, but it felt a little too "afternoon tea party" for me and the stripes hurt my eyes, so I did not end up wearing.

Endless compliments
An absolutely perfect event dress. It is the rare high-end formal dress that actually feels worth the cost; flattering, secure structure, gorgeous details, thick & relatively wrinkle-resistant fabric. It is tight across the chest which was great for me, but might not work for fuller-busted folks. Otherwise, the only downside is you might need a buddy to zip it up as it struggled over the many lovely layers of fabric and lining. I had to ask a very confused hotel housekeeper to zip it up for me.

Runs small, tag in terrible spot
I sized up and was glad I did, it’s surprisingly fitted through the waist and hips. Personally I loved the fit and fabric of this dress, it can be worn as is for a casual day running errands or styled up for a more maximalist chic look. However, the tag is tragically placed, about an inch from the hem on a seam that runs directly down the middle of the back of the dress. It is VERY visible through the front cutout, like when you’re walking the tags are just flopping around between your calves in the breeze. It looks cheap, and I felt self-conscious so I only wore it once with a long jacket over it.

Unwearably short for tall-ish folks
But great actual mini dress for petites! I saw all the reviews about the length, but I don’t mind a micro-mini. However I never wore because it was not a micro-mini, it was an essentially a tunic; the bottom of my butt was visible just standing upright. I am more legs than torso, so it’s not like it’s a proportions issue, it is just VERY short. The top of the dress fit great, so I don’t think sizing up for a bit more length was an option. It’s too bad because it was so cute, in the privacy of my own home I styled with thigh-high suede boots to contrast the precious/preppy look of the dress. I tried to figure out how to style as a tunic but ultimately just ended up not wearing.

Not flattering on curvier figure, awkward pockets
Didn’t wear it. Best narrower/straighter hips and a smaller tush. Despite the XS fitting across my hips, the hips are cut just tight enough that the pockets pulled open very unattractively on my slightly-pear-shaped body. I’m not even sure a small would have solved the problem, this dress is just not cut for me. PROS: the fabric is a nice knit, it didn’t wrinkle easily, and the length was adorably mini on my 5’8 frame. would make an easy dress to pack in a bag for a late-summer getaway for folks with a straighter figure.

A bit sheer, a bit small -
BUT SO CUTE! So many total strangers stopped me on the street to tell me how beautiful this dress was. And it is a stunner. Pros: 1) doesn’t wrinkle easily!!!! this is huge 2) a great length, plenty long - almost a maxi - I’m 5’8 (shorter folks might find it too long) 3) zipper-free! 4) cute chest pockets (which also act as nipple covers - see cons) Cons: 1) fabric is only one layer for the whole back of the dress, and it’s quite sheer. the fabric - a crosshatch-textured thick polyester - clings to your body in an odd way so even a “no show” flesh-colored thong was super obvious. I wore nude shapewear shorts to feel more covered. I don’t wear bras, but if you do that will also be very obvious. There’s also an RTR tag sewn into the back of the top, which because it’s sheer, is visible! I attached a pic. The front has multiple layers of fabric and chest pockets which cover the nipples if you’re braless. 2) no side pockets! 3) a touch small on the waist - I’m a pretty consistent 2, and if I was even just a little bloated I could button the waist but it pulled and didn’t look nice. Fit fine everywhere else though. If I was to purchase or rent again, I’d get a 4.
