Gorgeous dress but runs small
I loved this dress so much but wish I had ordered the 8. My shoulders are wide so this pulled on my arms and neck. I would have been extremely uncomfortable wearing this out. The cut, fabric and length are everything that make this simple black dress something special. Order a size up and you will be in love. I'll probably order again in the right size of course ;)

Ugh. Loved the fit of this dress especially for my long arms but so itchy.

Runs small but beautiful blouse
I'm a true size 6 in DVF or Nicole Miller. I wear a medium in Herve Lager. I ordered this in a medium and the shorts were slightly short and the bust was tight. I have broad shoulders so this blouse did pull. I if I were shorter I do think the medium would have fit but this is a well tailored shirt w no give so it needs the perfect body to fit it. Like the other reviews, it has to be paired w something high wasted. I'm wearing Free People high wasted flare jeans and it hit perfect.

Perfect day to night LBD - travels well
Bought this one. So comfortable and the cut is sexy but not too sexy. Literally can wear this dress with flip flops, heals or boots. Layer w a Jean jacket or blazer. I even wore this to travel to California and it was so comfortable and I was ready to go to the bar straight from the airport.

I'm 5'9" and I loved this length for day or night. Great fall dress and oh so comfy. I struggle w sleeves being to short and these were perfect and flowy. Boho chic. Could have dresses up w heals but wore w black riding boots.

My husband gushed about this one
I took the advice of the other reviews and rented a size down and it was perfect. I have long arms and this fit me like no other blouse. There's so many beautiful details that there is no doubt this is a designer piece.

When I saw this dress online I was in love but read the length was only 32" so I made it my backup. This is the one they sent and it was so much fun. I'm 5'9" and I never felt like the dress was too short. It is definitely 35" and hit 4" above the knee. The sleeves are amazing but I can see how other reviewers may be tight on some. Plenty of room in the hips and stomach. So much fun to dance in. I would rent again and maybe purchase.

A bit more than a little black dress but still timeless.
The dress was a bit short but I am 5'9". With black tights it seemed longer. Fit was comfortable and the fabric is forgiving. My only complaint is the sequins is very scratchy under arms.

Wore to bachelorette party. Was relatively comfortable. I have wide shoulders so could have probably gone up a size. Got lots of complements. Should be worn with silver jewelry as the dress has silver threading.
