Colors are vibrant, excellent quality, but the fit is just too boxy throughout. Dress just hangs there and I could get on board with that if the sleeves weren’t balloon sleeves. Just too much fabric and loose fit going on, no flattering on my hourglass shape.

While the top has an elastic back, the ruffled seams on the skirt have no give at all. Fit great up top, but the ruffle across the hips was wayyy too tight. I have a large bust and had no problem with the top fitting - can easily adjust the string/tie and was very flattering up top. The bottom is just a major issue, and I think sizing up would result in too much fabric on the bottom. Definitely a true polyester, so also a cold weather item.

Truly just an elastic waistband that gives off burlap tablecloth vibes. All the pleating creates a very full skirt look reminiscent of prairie girls. Material itself is matte and not shiny or silky whatsoever. Huge disappointment, not sure how these other reviewers overlooked these shortcomings.

This was comically short in the front - I’m 5’8” and the slit came up WAY too high for comfort, barely skimmed my bottom. Great material and it fit wonderfully up top, but the length is a serious issue.

Fit true to size and had excellent lining so it wasn't itchy at all, but once on it was just okay. Matching blazer wasn't available to rent at the same time, but maybe that would've made the look better. Definitely a boot cut fit, but length wasn't too long (high rise but also not too high.) I had been excited for this look, but overall it was disappointing and didn't live up to hype of good reviews.

Gorgeous color and lining, but it runs small - I usually get 14 or XL in winter coats to allow room for sweaters during Midwestern winter. Size 50 in this was too snug to wear comfortably with sweaters. Lining made it very warm, although I wish there was an extra row of buttons to cover the chest more.

This dress felt gorgeous, but it was surprisingly much more low cut than the photos made it appear. It was too low in the front to wear a bra, so I ended up going the tape route. While I felt gorgeous and received compliments, it did photograph with a lot of material around the waist that appears unflattering. Overall, it did make me feel great, but I would size down if ordering again to see if that fixes the low neckline issue.

I love Lilly dresses and have many, but never order them in white to keep. This dress runs incredibly small, and while I am able to comfortably wear all my other size 12 Lilly, this one would not even go past my hips. Order two sizes up if you intend to wear this!!! The dress is gorgeous - more of a cotton material than I expected. You'll definitely need an extra set of hands to fasten the bow/neckline. Sized up, but likely could've sized up twice to make it a little more comfortable. It did wrinkle in the waist and throughout the skirt as the night went on, but I received so many compliments and felt amazing wearing it. Would definitely rent again!

I usually wear a 10, but got a 12 in this since 10 was "sold out". It ended up working out just fine, but a 10 definitely would have fit better. Like other reviewers mentioned, you can tighten the straps in the back to help a larger size stay up, but the waist hit at a slightly awkward spot and the bodice boning didn't match up with my bust. Overall, it was gorgeous and I received so many compliments! Would definitely rent again, but in my usual size.

The dress fit really well, I am 36DD and wore fashion tape. You could wear a low back bra, but it's not necessary. Slightly snug at the waist, but fit true to size.
