This dress is an incredible elevated basic. The cut is flattering on your waist & chest. However, this dress is short! I am 5’2” & bending over was not an option. Also, as a petite person, the area from the shoulder to the chest was loose-not a big deal, but showed up in a few pics where you could see my bra with the movement. Would rent again. 

Ended up wearing this as part of a costume for a murder mystery party and was so impressed. I'm a true pear and even though this is a tight fitting dress, my butt and hips had plenty of room and the dress was SO flattering. Will be watching this one to potentially buy...would love to wear it (without the pink wig) to upcoming holiday parties.

This dress is so pretty, and really cute with the velvet bow.  It was perfect for attending a wedding.  Wear a strapless bra to avoid having your bra straps showing.

I wore this dress to my company holiday party. It was such a beautiful dress and fit very well. One thing I would note is that the bust may be a bit loose for some - I’m a 36DD and typically find tops really tight, however, with this dress there would be some gaps every now and then depending on how I was sitting, I was very aware that it was a bit low cut and had to keep pulling up throughout the night. Other than that, this dress was perfect for the occasion and I received a ton of compliments!

This dress is the whole package. I wore it once to a 30th birthday celebration with my girlfriends and once out to a romantic dinner with my partner for Valentine's Day. I'm usually a 0 or 2 and the 0 fit perfectly. It's comfortable even after a big meal. The shoulder pads usually don't do much for me, but these really add a lot to the dress. I did have to pull it down a few times, but then again I have long legs and am kind of tall. Overall, wish I could afford to buy this because it's one of my favorites!!

I loved wearing this for a company Christmas party. Only issue is that it was slightly short. I'm 5'2 so if you're any taller it might not work

Loved this dress. Top part was a bit lower cut than expected. And around the thighs/butt was a little tight, not great for lots of movement. Otherwise comfortable and flattering. 

Loved this dress! Just enough structure that you don't need a bra.  It is busty, so you have to be looking for that, but it was so flattering and really high quality thick velvet.  Still considering purchasing at some point.  Truly perfect winter LBD

I was obsessed with this dress. The fit was perfect (size zero) I am 5’0” and 117 lbs. I ended up purchasing this item. It is the perfect dress for a winter event. So flattering and I got so many compliments. 

True to size, not overly fitted in any area, not too short (5'3). Will definitely show a bit of cleavage 

The Sweetheart neck line is incredibly low. I had to pin up at least an inch on each shoulder and then use fashion tape to secure the entire chest area. It was a labor of love to get this dress on and stay in place for the night, wouldn't rent again.

Loved the cut, great material -  felt a little tight sitting down/rides up, so definitely size up. Arms were a little long but not annoyingly so. 

heavy but a perfect dress. There are zips on the arms to open up and roll the sleeve which was very helpful when dancing 

I ordered a few options from RTR and was surprised this ended up being the winner. It fit true-to-size with the zipper in the back and I felt like it was flattering on a curvier body. Though fair warning, it's super low-cut. I bought a strapless bra specifically hoping it wouldn't show, but you could still see it if the dress wasn't in the perfect position.

This dress hides all the body's imperfections and hugs you in the right places. I wore it to New Year's Eve Dinner and felt very comfortable all night. Very well made.

Loved this dress for a new years celebration! Amazing quality dress with soft, thick material. True to size everywhere except the chest. As other reviews mentioned, it’s big in the chest and requires fashion tape or it will gape.

I wore it for a holiday date and also for New Year’s Eve and it was PERFECT. Flattering and comfortable. I paired it with sheer hose and patent heels (for the dinner date) and knee high boots (for the more comfortable night out).

My photographer loved this dress and said it had the vibes of a James Bond movie mixed with some Matrix lol! Fiance loved the silhouette. Great for all body types and I found it to be roomy in the tummy area. 

This dress hugs you in all the right places, and it’s super stylish!

I normally wear a 10, but the 12 fit best. The turn around to get a new size was so fast and the customer service was fantastic.
