Had to Finesse the Dress

I’m a 4/6 in most clothes and would have gone for a S/M in most cases. After reading the reviews something told me to try a XS and surprisingly it cinched perfectly at the waist. I’m wide in the hip/thigh region but luckily it didn’t matter because the dress flows below the waist. The only issue was that the chest area was really baggy. I tried tapping and it still seemed to be a little too loose for my liking. In a last minute scramble I took a hair tie and tied the low V cut from the inside of the dress to create a higher neckline and just wore a regular bra underneath. Oh also there are light shoulder pads. I was a little self conscious because I have VERY broad shoulders but I shifted them around a little to create less emphasis.

Center of Attention

The bow is somewhat obnoxious but I didn’t mind as it was for my bday dinner. Really surprised that the size 2 fit. Im hippy but the material stretches nicely. A 4 would have been fine but the 6 was wayyyyy too big. Would suggest you size down for smaller bust, that seems to be the main difference as far as size.

Easy statement piece

Really liked this dress. I went between wearing a S or M for so long but ultimately went with a M so that it wouldn't rise up when I moved around. I preferred the shape of the S, as the M just seemed to look wider. It was a nice fit for the occasion and ultimately a closet keeper as it can be worn for both casual or more formal occasions.

Easy statement top

I wore this to a a show/event I was part of with jeans and sneakers. I didn't want to be super dressy but I needed something I could stand out in. I was worried about the off the shoulder look because my shoulders are fairly wide but with a few adjustments it ended up being very cute. Highly suggest tucking in the frilled top part and ribbons (which I did before heading to the event) if you're not super into that, which I'm usually not. Anyway, love love loved it!

Dress for many occasions

I didn't end up wearing this dress. This was my original choice but my backup ended up being my better option for the event I was attending. I'm usually a medium and can fit dresses between a 2-6. They ran out of mediums so I went with a small and it was perfect! It is the "scuba" material but doesn't look cheap. I really wish I could've worn this dress for something, anything! I'll probably just rent it again for my next event now that I know that it fits.

Worn to jazz performance on a hot summer day.

Received A LOT of complements. This dress fits pretty true to size, the material is soft and stretchy. I only wish it wasn't as stretchy though because it scrunched up all day but at each length it looked good regardless so for someone like me who is fairly short I mainly wore it at my knees (2nd photo).

Beautiful dress with a very flattering fit!

I'm 5'3 so slightly on the long end but perfect for the formal/gala occasion I was at. The neck is slightly tight and honestly even more annoying when you sit down because it pulls but I guess in a "good" way it forces you to sit up appropriately. Be careful not to snag the lace on things. The dress speaks for itself. Pair with matte black shoes I switched between pointed pumps and flats throughout the night (I was working) and both still made the dress look great. Doesn't need much jewelry either simple stud earrings and a watch or bracelet will be enough for sure. Such an easy dress to rock without having to do much else to your overall appearance.
