Pretty and flattering
I know that this style of dress usually fits me well, and this didn't disappoint. A few people came to tell me they liked my dress. Like others have said, the fabric is a bit heavy, but it was chilly so it worked well. I would have been hot if it had been sunny and 80+ degrees and i was sitting outside.

Pretty but heavy
I loved how these looked, the perfect length for my shorter neck. They were a bit heavy though, and I was glad to take them off after 6 hours.

Easy, comfortable, cute
I liked this dress, but it wasn't a hands-down favorite for me. I'm short, and this dress kind of bunched up in the front and back in weird ways. Other dresses do this, but their awesomeness outweighs the short-torso problem. This dress was just pretty simple.

Very, very pretty!
These were a replacement for the ones I wanted that were messed up. They were lovely, but heavy after a few hours. When I came home, I understood why women in old movies take off their heels *and* their earrings!

Sparkly, fabulous, not for people with short torsos.
So I (mostly) loved this dress. My usual size fit, which given it's not a-line was something I was worried about. I rented it for New Year's Eve dinner and it was so fun. So many compliments, as with all RTR rentals. BUT I'd add two notes of caution: my inner arms were super chaffed from the sequins. I knew that'd happen the minute I tried the dress on, and if I were buying it in the store I wouldn't have bought the dress. Second, if you have a short torso and a pear shape like me, this dress won't fit right on top. The smallest part of the dress stopped high enough up on me that the back sagged in a slightly awkward way. I guess if you had big boobs to push out the fabric it might work? Top-line, loved the dress! Wouldn't rent it again.

I got so many compliments!
It's so much fun to spend $80 on an expensive dress. You can just tell by the way it fits that it's better made than what I'd usually buy. It fit my hourglass/pear shape well, and hit at the knee. I'm really short so I suspect this dress could be short on some people. The only downside of the dress isn't really the dress's fault -- I forgot that a lace dress catches on things, so my earrings (which I also rented) kept getting stuck in the dress.
