Come for the 90s retro styling, leave for the same reason
I was in college in the early 90s and basically owned dresses like this. Thought it would be fun and retro but feels like maybe the moment has passed for this kind of dress. Fabric also not great.

Bought for a European vacation, thought I would keep, never wore.
I was drawn to this blazer for the cut and the pattern and liked it a lot when it arrived. It was packed for a European vacation that got canceled due to a passport glitch. Too hot to wear at home now. I contemplated keeping it but I think I would 9 times out of 10 just reach for a denim jacket instead.

Too low, too tight
Loved the cut of the legs and the hem but the rise was too low and too tight for the sizing. I wanted to give it a few hours to see if they would ease up, but they just weren't comfortable enough to even do that. Might try a size up.

I don't buy a lot of RTR rentals, the whole point is that you rent them, but I made an exception for these jeans. My kids shrieked with delight when they saw them and that was enough for me. Super comfortable, love the high waste of the carpenter styling. Will be my go to everyday jeans when the weather is cooler.

Didn't fit me but almost bought for my daughter
This is an amazing garment and I've already ordered the next size up in hopes it will work for me. Great details including the zip front with the snap over tab down the pocket. My daughter tried it on and then basically where it nonstop for five days-- it looked fabulous on her and I tried to get her to let me buy it for her, but she thought it was too pricey for what it was.

When I tried this on everyone agreed I should just buy it -- timeless style, super comfortable, great fit, suitable for basically any work event (I'm a professor). Only issue is the lining - it crept down about an inch below the hem of the dress. Hoping that's just a problem with this specific dress, will rent again and hope for the best.

This is a super fun dress. More than any other RTR, people just complimented it left and right, all day. Seriously, like from bicycles and cars when I was on the sidewalk. Most mentioned the color but I also got a lot of "amazing dress", "you look great!". Women, men, everyone. Astonishing.

I have a huge crush on this sweater.
Wow, this is a winner. I got it five days ago and have worn it every day since. It's VERY warm and pleasingly heavy, which is great for the cold snap we're having and for my cold office. It might be too warm for indoor wearing in most other situations. Everyone who sees it in person or on Zoom comments on it. I couldn't resist pairing it with some black and white striped tights. I will have a hard time sending this one back.

All about the shoulder detail
Great sweater with a pretty boxy fit which worked well with a red dress that I'm wearing for 100 days in a row. To me the specialness of the sweater is all in the stitch detail on the shoulder. A really fun piece.

Loved this in the photo but was worried that the proportions might be off for me, and it was. It's a long torso and so the "waist" line hit me low and funny. Too bad, the fabric and styling are great.

Gorgeous print and a fun casual summer cut
Really nothing to complain about here. Perfect neckline, one of the nicest Liberty prints, JCrew quality, even a nice lightweight lining/slip. Keeping this one through a swap as I plan to wear it a lot on summer vacation in New England.

Weird fit and ties on arms are super annoying
I loved this fabric so much in the pictures and hoped it would fit as in the picture but it's quite high waisted and the elastic waist makes the top poof out, not flattering. Also could not make the little metal-tipped ties on the arms work out in any way that did not drive me nuts.

Loved the fabric and got compliments about the color. Compliments only from household members as I couldn't really wear this out of the house because too short. I work some black bike shorts underneath but still felt like it was in babydoll dress territory which is not a great look after 50.

Wore to work a few times, nice "crisp" looking top, worked well with simple black pants as in RTR photo. Ran large so had to wear a tank top underneath otherwise too much cleavage and armhole gapes. Should probably be ironed to look best -- caveat for those (like me) Who Don't Iron.

Got lots of compliments, tempted to keep
It's a unique piece - the tucks, the fabric pattern, the petticoat, the belt, the neckline. Liked many things about it, wore it for a birthday dinner. I saw some photos of myself from the rear and side wearing it -- poofiness in back is not very flattering. Will possibly hold onto it for the summer.

Fun! Tempted to buy!
This got rave reviews and I was excited to try. Definitely my first jumpsuit ever and as someone who's always rushing to the bathroom I was worried this would get in the way of quick potty trips. But after a few tries I got it down to a science. (Tip: if you tie the belt in the back be sure to untie and loop in the front while using the loo!) I do wish the fabric were a bit nicer but overall it's a cute, fun, flattering piece, even for a 50+ larger lady!

This was a fun unique piece that I would never purchase but enjoyed wearing a few times for COVID WFH. The material is thick and stretchy. The shoulders rode up a bit when seated but not too terribly. Also for me (5'7") the L was probably about 1" too short for work but perfect for Zoom!

Great for video media and seminar appearances.
I rented this because during the COVID19 outbreak I am having to do a lot of media presentations and video webinars from home. This blazer works great over a tank top with a necklace or a scarf. Probably wouldn't wear much in real life to work but it's getting me through the pandemic very well!

Great quarantine pants except stained
I fell for the "work from home essentials" promo and actually got some clothes to wear while staying at home. I actually love these and have worn them several times but unfortunately they arrived with multiple grease stains down the front.
