Small fit perfectly- not snug at all. Fabric has a lot of stretch so the xs might have worked if I wanted a fitter look.

Seems like the kind of dress that would look ok on the tight side, but I think I would have just been trying to pull it down all night. It didn't sit nicely on me- I think if it had been looser, it wouldn't have looked good either- maybe on someone with a straighter figure. Wore something else.

The top was cute by itself!
The dress is two pieces- a slip dress with the top over it. Unfortunately, I received a size 4 top (as ordered) and a size 10 slip dress. It's possible it would have looked less tent-like in the correct size, but it was NOT flattering on me. On the bright side, the top was really cute by itself, so that's how I wore it (with ripped jeans and ankle boots to a concert). The size 4 top was very flowy, but the shoulders fit properly in the size 4. Color and fabric very pretty.

Tiny waist!
I have a very small waist and rarely have fit issues in that area... until this rental! I normally wear a 2, but could often wear a 0 in this style dress. Couldn't even zip the 36 at the waist band. Definitely size up for backup. Disappointed, as it was very pretty and well made. Would work best on someone with a larger chest. Sadly, had to send it back.
