This is such a versatile set. I love each piece and the combo. I tried some options but ended up without wearing a bra. Light weight with layers of thin fabric. Considering buying one size up for length and chest.   5’2” 150 lbs. Mid40s. Unfit. A little curvy & a little round. Longer torso. Shorter legs.

I wore this dress on vacation in Nashville and 2 women shopping in Draper James stopped me to ask about the dress I was wearing. It looks beautiful and fits like a dream. Very cool and flowing, perfect for warmer days. I'll be renting this again! 

Obsessed with this dress, have rented it multiple times. Such a flattering fit and can be worn for business or dates! Rent this, you will not be disappointed 

Fit true to size. Comes in two pieces -- a tank dress and the long sleeve shell top. Easy, light dress. Worked great with tights and heeled booties for work!

I wore this like 10 times.  Wore to work with shirt over then went out after and took off the top to reveal the boob popping spaghetti strap dress. It is short and flirty and such a nice material. I may have to buy this one!

Great outfit.  Fabric is very soft and style is very flattering.  I wore this on two different days, both while on vacation, touring different ball parks and sightseeing.  It was easy to wear and I felt great in it.  This is a 2 piece outfit with a dress and a separate shirt.  Both pieces look great together although they could be worn separated if you have the right pieces.  The dress has an elastic waistband so it can be as short or as long as you want.  The neckline could be buttoned but felt constricting when I tried it so I left it open.  I wore it with black tights and boots since it was chilly.  I would definitely recommend trying this one.  Wear it with a strapless bra since the shoulder cutouts will show when the strap slips down.

Loved this dress.  Like other reviewers mention it's a dress with an over shirt.  I've worn it together, just the shirt and the dress with a cardigan.  Really like this piece.  I kept it for weeks!!!

By far one of my favorite rtr pieces. I wore this a few times before I returned it and probably got stopped 5 times by gals wanting to know who it was by each time. 

Two pieces... I wore it as a set and really didn't like either separately,  but you could wear separately. 

Got this for wear on the weekends, date night, out dancing... love it! Really comfortable and easy to dress up or down. 

This is a 2 piece set with a spaghetti strap dress covered by a cold shoulder blouse. The pieces are cute separate and together. Quite honestly I didn't think I would like it because it lacks waist definition, but it is quite flattering. 

Fun and unique two piece dress! I rented this for work with my Unlimited subscription and ended up wearing it multiple ways that weekend. Since it comes with a separate tank dress and long sleeve top, you can wear it together or separately by pairing the pieces with a sweater or jeans. I rented a size 6 and the top was a bit loose, but the tank dress fit perfectly and was fitted around the hips. This dress can be dressed up or down and the silky fabric is very comfortable. Overall, this is definitely one of my favorites. I will be renting this and similar styles by Derek Lam again. 

Super comfortable, it's a 2 piece dress. The bottom part run a little snug around the chest but the top was perfect.  It's very flowy so not super ideal for dancing but I loved the look. I would rent it again

Perfect length to show the right amount of leg. Sexy shoulder and chest peephole. I have work this designer before and they adjusted the waistband to elastic so it fits comfortably. 

This dress was gorgeous & so comfortable. Will be renting again soon!

The top part of the dress layer was really tight on my chest, but I typically have that problem. Otherwise, it fit perfectly-I was able to wear it to work and added a belt to accentuate my waist. Highly recommend renting it, but I'd go up a size if you are busty. 

This was the perfect outfit to wear on a family play date - I waded in the baby pool with my son, kept up with him at the park and felt sexy and comfortable while doing it!

Lots of compliments, very flowy, soft fabric. You could dress up a bit too. The only thing i didnt like is that it doesnt have any stretch or zipper so it was a little snug to put on over my head. Maybe a size bigger would've solve it but then it would be huge on me! 

I love Derek Lam and his non wrinkling clothes! The top was gorgeous and I wore it with jeans shopping. I wore the strapless dress under the top for two dinners. Very comfortable! The dress is a little short in the back. I didn't think it looked as flattering in photos. 

The under-layer was a bit tight around the bust and shoulders and the sleeves were a bit short, but otherwise I loved the fit. It's a fun ruffled skirt and a really high quality piece.

The dress part was a little snug but thw shirt top was just the right size so it made the look come together!

I wore this to a bridal shower and I loved how light and airy it was.  I think it would have been Super cute with ankle boots but I didn't have a good enough pair.
I didn't realize it's a 2 piece dress.  It's fun and cute but not very sexy.... so I would say wear it to a baby shower,  but not on a night out lol

It runs small. The top has no stretch, I felt claustrophobic trying to take it off. It was a little bit of a struggle. I wore this twice and both times I wore with a different top than the one it came with. Really love it for the skirt aspect, I would definitely buy.

Easy breezy dress for bridal shower brunch. Loved the layered look, although it does run a bit on the snug across the chest. 

Sorry for the awkward photo. I realized I didn't take one when I wore it so had my 3 year old take a picture of me, haha. The slip underneath was tight on my chest but not noticeable with the shirt on over it. I liked it with a belt too but ended up not wearing a belt with it. I think I'll wear just the top with jeans too. The fabric is thin and silky. The photos to me made it look heavy and thick so was happy it wasn't that way!

Material is very light. I wore this in winter but it might be better for fall/spring. It's a cute outfit for everyday. Dress underneath was very tight but not uncomfortable. The top fit loosely over and would also look cute with skinny jeans or leggings.

Fabric is really soft. Dress is stretchy. Comes in two pieces so you can wear it a few different ways. I said runs small because normally I'm a 6 and the 8 fits comfortably. Will re-wear as a top and then as a dress with a sweater over it. 

This dress was fun to wear because it's so unique.  It comes in two pieces: A tank dress with the ruffled bottom.  And the peek shoulder top which you can wear on it's own.  The material is a beautiful lightweight silk.  The tank dress runs small in the chest area.  The blouse itself  felt very loose.  I'm only 5'1" tall so I think it was a bit voluminous for me on top.  The taller ladies with the longer torso might carry this dress better.  I wore it with a leather moto jacket and it gave it a better shape.

I've ordered a few 10 Crosby Derek Lam dresses and this one fell a bit short.  The top was too baggy and made me look larger than I am.  The pattern is cute and I liked the cold shoulder design but overall was not that happy with this one.  It might work better in a smaller size as there was no 2 available when I ordered.  

It’s a cute print and idea but the two pieces make it feel overly complicated. Dress is also very short, didn’t feel comfortable wearing to work. I also should not have picked for the middle of winter, material is very light. Ended up not wearing it and just returning it.

This is a lightweight 2 piece dress that looks adorable on.  I wore it with boots on a 60 degree cloudy spring day.  The cutout shoulders are a bit edgy for work but I liked it overall.

I wore this for a Christmas gift exchange and just for a fun day out and loved it both times. I received tons of compliments on the unique style and it just fit so well. I would love to buy this, and it's not something I would normally wear at all. Highly recommend!

This dress is perfect for so many occasions. The primary reason I rented it was for my fiance's work Christmas party. However, it is a slip and top so I wore the top with jeans the next day as well. Overall, the fit is great but a little tight in the chest area. 

it is two pieces and I also wore the top by itself one day
