Gorgeous at the Gala (backup)
I did not end up wearing the SL due to length; I was wearing flats and it would be too long. I am sure the SR would have been the perfect length for what I needed, but it was not available for my dates. Please see my more detailed review of the SXR for more detailed fit/color comments. Admittedly, this was much more comfortable in the torso than the SXR. Pic is of the length of the SL under flat shoes.

Modern and elegant
I loved how these paired with a structured dress. They were stunning. The material was not as expected as they were mostly plastic, but they were lightweight and easy to wear.

Stunning, warm enough for winter
I attended a January 31 wedding in the Midwest and there was snow on the ground! I paired it with navy fleece leggings and a black faux fur wrap. The slit is high, but necessary for the fit and movement. I was going to wear tights regardless for the church wedding and warmth, and did make me feel less subconscious. Sleeves also provided a comfortable weight without limiting movement, which was necessary to keep up with my 3YO son as the ring bearer! TONS of compliments. Would definitely rent again.

Absolutely stunning, and in my color! I would buy it if I could for all winter parties.
If you have a little extra in the tummy this does accommodate it, but spanx are recommended otherwise it will show. Do not forget the stick-on bra; strapless will still show through the lace on the back. I had to get creative and use clear packing tape and bra fillers. The bust of the dress does not have enough structure to go bra-less unless you have a bigger cup size and could maybe fill it out. I recommend hair up with earrings and no necklace as there is so much detail at the neckline.
