Wanted to love it, but ...
I couldn't honestly wear it. I have a long torso, and even still, these straps were way too long for me (and not adjustable) so I would have been flashing the goods if I wore this out of my house and moved at all. Maybe it would work for an artsy photo shoot ... but I'm not a model so it's definitely going back ;)

Beautiful dress, beautiful details.
As everyone else has said, you have to see this dress in person to appreciate the details! It's well-made and seems pretty true to size. This was one of the options I got in my subscription with the intent of wearing to my brother's wedding; I'm sending it back because it doesn't quite go with my skin tone. Fair-skinned ladies will probably find the contrast between the illusion neckline and your skin a little off-putting, but if you've got some color you could rock it!

Halloween at the office
I bought this on sale about 2 years ago from RTR, and I've worn it only twice since then. It was a good option for being "Halloweeny" at the office without actually being in costume. The slip is just "okay"; if you have a black slip already that you love, you could wear that instead because the pieces are separate. The lace is the fun part! And it is fun. I'll probably keep it around as a standby Halloween outfit, if nothing else pops up.

Made for ultra hips/booty ... and apparently I don't qualify, lol
I just love the way this dress looks from the waist up ... but then it all goes downhill on me. The material around the hips bunches/poofs/gathers on my body because it's such a dramatic cut. This would look STUNNING on someone with full hips and booty (if you know, you know) but I don't quite match up. Because it just didn't fit me overall, I can't quite tell if it's true to size or not ... so take that with a grain of salt. Also, the bottom of the skirt doesn't really have a hem, so it doesn't look as put-together as the top.

Cute maternity dress for the holidays, but very tight sleeves.
This was super cute with gray tights for Thanksgiving with my family. The sleeves are pretty tight, though ... you might want to size up if your arms are muscular.

I bought this top on sale from RTR and it was just okay ... the sleeve ties are hard to get "right" or even, they get in the way, and the whole thing just doesn't look very flattering. I kept it in my closet for longer than necessary because I *wanted* to like it, but I just can't see myself ever wearing this again. It's definitely a looser fit, but I think that's the point ... you could probably size down if you really, really wanted to wear this but it wasn't available in your size ... it just wouldn't be as flowy.

Comfortable, fun, and classy!
I rented this for a formal work event and it did not disappoint. It seemed well-made and although I ordered a 10 for a backup size, I didn't end up needing it. I'm sure you've read by now ... but y'all, this dress has pockets, and they are so handy! Large enough for your phone and whatever other little odds and ends you might need to carry.
