This was a great dress to wear. I loved the fit, the arms did not fit tight like a similarly styled badgley mischka I rented like I was afraid of. I belted the waist with an elastic sequin belt to cinch it in a little more and make my waist look smaller. My problem with fit it I have a small waist but larger arms and hips so if you have that same problem, an elastic sequin belt has served me well with several RTR, and specifically badgley mischka dresses. I loved that the sequins were in a unique and different pattern. The color is a darker toned gold IRL, not a bright gold. After going back and forth with various color combos, I do think black shoes are the best match with this dress :)))

I LOVED this dress, one of my all time favs. This is a great dress if you have a smaller waist and bigger hips, as the dress flares out and doesn't hug your hips at all but still accentuates your waist. I love that it has pockets, I got to forgo the clutch and keep phone, lipstick, ID in these deep pockets, completely unnoticeable . I love the high/low cut and the deep V back, which is sexy without being slutty. Perfect for a big office Christmas party.

The fit on a 14 for me was great - though I usually wear a 10 or 12 in other RTR designers. The dress was comfortable and the cut is so appropriate - not too short but not so long it ages you- and high neck and back which makes it classy, though very fitted in the bodice which makes it sexy. I would love to own this dress!

The fit on this was great except for the arms!! The whole dress has stretch and movement but the sleeves are extremely confining, they don't move at all. I was actually not as confident as I usually feel in a badgley mischka, because it just wasn't flattering for my arms. I wish in retrospect I would have gone with a different dress but was so in love with it otherwise I went ahead and wore it.

This dress is so cute. However, it is VERY short. I am 5'8, and the bottom of the tulle, which gets very sheer toward the bottom, barely covered my rear end. If I would have bent over even slightly, everyone would have gotten a show. However, I think it would be completely wearable with black tights. Unfortunately, it was 90 degrees out so I was not going to be wearing tights, but I do plan on renting this again for a winter event because it was very flattering on my curvy figure.

This was a dress that was sent as a backup, and it is very awkward. The place for your boobs to go is extremely high up, unnaturally so. I also think this dress is better suited for very skinny women with small or no curves. I did not wear this and would not recommend it to any woman I know.

I really loved this dress! It was my backup and I ended up using it I loved it so much. It is dressier IRL than in the picture on the website to me. It was a great summer wedding dress, and super comfortable. It's also hard to tell in pictures but there is a form fitting sheath underneath that adds dimension and extra dressy-ness to the dress. I ordered a 12L but could have worn a 10 and also for sure didn't need a long. I'm 5'8 and it was super long, so I had to wear heels instead of the flats I had intended but that's no biggie. I got compliments all night from wedding guests! Loved having a beautiful dress I also was very comfortable and confident in :)

I really love the design of this dress. However, the fit is a little weird and not very good for ladies with hips...my hips aren't even that big comparatively but it almost seemed like it would have only been comfortable if I had a straight boyish figure...the bodice cut into the top of my hips hard. The fabric is very, very rich, which makes this dress a lot more formal looking IRL than in pictures IMO. Like other have said, the fabric is extremely heavy so it would be better suited as a cool/cold weather dress. I do wish the cut in the front was a bit higher...I would love to see more of these high-low cuts on RTR. The dress ran small to me. I am normally a 10/12 and the 14 was extremely tight, and the fabric has zero stretch so I'm sure that didn't help. Bottom line...not so great for curvier figures or summertime. Very formal IRL.

This dress has some stretch to it which I appreciated! I was post-baby and not back in my usual size, and this was very forgiving without being a "bag dress". This was my "stylist surprise", and they did a great job picking out an accessory to go with the navy Elizabeth & James sheath dress I rented. These are beautiful earrings, about as long as a quarter but not as wide. They are quite heavy, which is why I gave them a 4 instead of a 5. By the end of the day I couldn't wait to get them off, my ears were in pain. But, no one ever said being beautiful was easy!! Also, I'm perfectly happy w/ the stylist surprise, although they had no idea whether I had pierced ears or not, luckily I did, but I wouldn't do a stylist surprise if you don't have pierced ears, or I would at least call and let them know to send you something else other than pierced earrings.

I wore this dress to a fall wedding 7 months pregnant. And before anyone freaks out, the seams were not at risk of stretching at all! This is a really roomy dress normally, so it had a plenty of space to fit a smaller baby bump in it. I normally would have worn a medium or possibly even a small in this dress w/o being pregnant. This dress is classy and sophisticated and not over the top in anyway, but it will definitely make you stand out! I wore it with black tights and over the knee black boots.

Ok so this review is like a year late, but better late than never! I rented this dress for a hometown party last year, and on that night not only did I get the most attention I think I have ever received at a bar. I rented this dress for a bridal luncheon. This dress is very flowy and billowy, so it accomodated my 5 month baby bump very well. I put the dress on and it looked and felt great, however, I leaned forward to pick something off the floor and all of a sudden my left leg all the way up to the top of my hip felt very cold. I looked over, and the seams on that side wereripped all the way up the side! It was not noticied at first because standing regularly, the flowiness covered the area, but as soon I bent forward or sat down, the dress obviously did not stay together and it could not be worn. Aside from this issue, I would say I loved it!

I loved this dress so much...like some other reviewers, I really feel the picture doesn't even come close to doing the dress justice, the fabric and the sequins are gorgeous. I got so many compliments on this dress and felt so beautiful in it, I looked everywhere for somewhere to buy it but can't find for sale anymore :( The only thing I will say is that I have a very hourglass figure, and it fitted a little tighter on my hips than in the picture, but it actually made me look a lot skinnier. Also thought it really flattered my chest in a classy way (as opposed to dresses that flatter by showing good cleavage, if that makes sense!) I paired this with brown cowboy-style boots and a long open front cardigan which dressed it down slightly for a cool night out in NYC. Definitely recommend this dress, it's amazing!

I honestly wasn't that excited about this dress, but I rented late and my top choices were unavailable, so I went with this. I am so happy I did!!!! It was perfect for the big back in town party we have every year with all my friends from the town I grew up in. The sequins are matte so they aren't overwhelming. The dress fit amazing, I didn't even have to wear a bra so that's a huge plus in my book lol. I am 5'8 and the small was a little on the short side, I just had to make sure I wasn't bending too far over, but it is supposed to be a shorter dress so I was anticipating that. I wore this with an elastic black sequin belt, black pantyhose, and black knee high boots and it gave it more of a fun look that was great for the party scene. I would say that it really does show off your lower abs, so if you don't have a really flat stomach, this may not look the best on you. My measurements are 37-26-38 and the small was a perfect fit for me. I ordered a medium as well but it looked a little dumpy, it was loose in the wrong places, so I went with a little tighter and got so many compliments and felt so beautiful.
