This is the right level of formality for the low-key conference I presented at, and my nephew's confirmation at a "we wear jeans" church. I'm busty (34G), and it's HARD for me to find a shirtdress. My sister and my husband both told me I need to purchase it.

I love a Veronica Beard blazer, and I was lucky enough to get this one new with tags. It does run slightly larger than some other VB blazers I own/have rented, but it's not worth sizing down for. The fabric is soft, but it does wrinkle more than I expected. Super-cute with jeans for a relaxed day at work.

Love a VB blazer, but maybe not this one
I've rented more VB blazers from RTR than I can count, and own a few, too. I've never had a wool VB blazer that was quite this itchy; if I saw this in the thrift store, I would question its authenticity because of the fabric. It was cute on, but I was glad I only needed to wear it for a couple hours!

Just MASSIVE
I'm not a small human - 5-8, 175 - but the algo suggested an XL and it was ridiculously large. Couldn't wear it. The proportions all over were like I was a small child in grown-up clothes.

Algo suggested an XL, so I got it. The sleeves were literally 4" beyond the end of my fingers (and I have long-ish arms and broad shoulders). The rest of it was just way too big. Like not oversized, but just awkwardly gigantic. It's a fun design and bright colors, but the fit was just off (and I don't think a different size would've fixed that for me).

Shorter than expected
Rented this to wear for a concert where I figured I’d be hauling my kiddo home by piggyback. Liked the fit and it’s pretty, but I did not want to flash the world with a 5yo on my back, so I did not wear it. This was barely mid-thigh on me, and my legs are not extra-long for someone who’s 5-8.

Odd fit for big bust, short waist
I didn't wear this one... The top itself was cute, with the shaker knit body and lighter cotton sleeves, but it was absolutely not flattering for me. I'm a 34G bra, and short waisted. I just looked dumpy. I think it's adorable for someone with a different build!

This is a super-fun, warm sweater, but it runs reeeeaaaaally oversized. The L was just sloppy and gigantic - I looked like I was a 4-year-old trying to wear my mom’s clothes. I exchanged for an M, which looked slightly too big to be truly “oversized.” I think I could’ve even gone to an S, which is bonkers.

So it’s been ages since I wore jeans without stretch - they took a bit to get used to. They fit great in the waist, a little looser than I wanted in the thighs. I liked these, but I forgot how the 90s-Mom-Jean style completely obscures all the glute work I’ve done in the gym!

This arrived NWT, and I really liked it. RTR suggested an XL - I definitely would’ve felt better in an L. It’s slightly oversized, and runs a bit big, so I felt it looked sloppy (rather than simply oversized). It’s a cozy sweater, & hit at the high hip for me (I’m short-waisted).

Maybe it’s my body, but this just didn’t work. The armholes fell about halfway down my bicep, so that (& my bust) just made this weird. I looked like I was drowning in it. Loved the pattern & lightweight wool knit - the fit just wasn’t for me.

I’m only 5-8, and the skirt barely met the ends of my fingers. It was also a little poufy in the hips, even though I’m a fairly true hourglass. I didn’t wear it - even with tights, I think it was too short for this professor to wear to teach in!

Wore with Vegas around Vejas during the day in September. Could easily be made a bit dressier than I wore it. It’s lightweight, comfortable & very fun. Weird seam at the hips
I love a sheath dress like this for work - no matter what is in style, I will return to this time and time again. I wanted to love this dress, but there were two weird seams. One hit at the broadest part of my hips, and the other was about 3" above it, at an unflattering point in my waist. I ended up wearing a denim jacket over it, which felt a little odd, but it was my only option.

6x6x2 - but heavy!
Needed a 6x6x2 bag to meet Sphere in Las Vegas' "bagless bag" guidelines for U2's opening weekend, and this was one of my only options. I was actually shocked at how much I could've fit in here, if I wanted. My iPhone 14 (not Pro) fit perfectly. I was surprised at how heavy it was, but I'd rent again if I needed something this tiny.

Excellent concert dress!
Wore this to opening weekend of U2 at Sphere in Vegas. It was perfect for the concert. I wear a 34G bra, and the 14 fit well in the bust. Got a number of compliments from strangers. I’d rent again, if I had the occasion.

I ended up not wearing this, as the proportions were all wrong for my body. It has puffy shoulders and very long sleeves (my arms are not short, & these were down to my knuckles!). It’s a bit itchy, so if it’s your style, maybe plan for a long-sleeve shirt underneath!

Professional and fun
This fit me well - I'm fairly busty (34G), and hourglassy - I'm not sure it would work as well for someone who has a more athletic shape than I do. I really loved the colors; it was fun for work in the fall. I'm normally a 12, and the 14 was perfect in this dress.

Cute, but thin material
So this dress is super-cute, but the material is so, so thin. That's great for St. Louis' crazy August humidity, but not so great for showing off the cellulite that's started to live on my hips since I got pregnant. I had to do MamaSpanx underneath to feel ok about wearing it out for a casual date night with my husband, and I don't currently own a smooth bra that fits (29 weeks, friends! Too soon for nursing, too late to buy all the bras I really need), so you could see the impression of the lace detail and stitching on my bra through the top. Not sure I'd rent again.

Definitely NOT maternity if you're busty
RTR suggested this as a "third trimester" friendly dress, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm busty when I'm not pregnant (34G); currently 29 weeks pregnant and a 36H. This dress didn't come close to closing above my bump, thanks to the lack of material in the bust. It fit great in the hips and waist. I can see (kind of) how it *could* be maternity-friendly for someone with boobs much smaller than mine, but if you're anywhere above a D cup, good luck!

As some other reviewers mentioned, the V is a little low, but it's nothing a little fashion tape can't handle. This was super-cute under a blazer with some jeans for a casual day at work (to help hide my is-she-pregnant-or-just-fat stage I'm currently in). My husband even said I should look at buying it.
