Had this dress in the 6 and 8 overnighted to me for a wedding after my first choice dress was damaged by a previous customer. I was hoping for a retro look (fitted bodice, full skirt) but this dress just didn't look good on a short, curvy girl like myself. The bodice fit nicely but the skirt was just way too puffy with its multiple layers of tulle. The skirt also seemed to puff out right at my hips rather than at my waist, so rather than giving me the impression of an hourglass figure, it made me look and feel extra wide at the hips. It's still a pretty dress so maybe it would work better on someone that's tall and/or thin.

Wow, I loved this dress! I was originally going to rent another Herve (that cost a lot less) but RTR let me know it was damaged and they let me pick any other dress with no upcharge, which was great. I'm 5'3" 32DDD bust, size 6 top/size 8 bottom. It is very form fitting - I am not sure I could have worn any sort of Spanx or shapewear underneath, I would recommend a g-string underneath so that nothing shows. I didn't wear a bra either because the dress was tight enough to hold me in. I did use fashion tape to keep the shoulders from slipping and would definitely recommend doing that to keep it all in place. Definitely an attention-getter!
