Wore it running errands, totally shapeless
Absolutely shapeless. I was hoping for a bit more because I love Rails dresses. I sized down - my usual in Rails is M because I’m blessed in the hips. But in this cut I was ok to size down.

It’s a heavy material - not light and breezy
I ended up wearing it to work with a denim jacket over it, since it’s so chilly at work. The fabric wasn’t at all what I expected. I love this brand so I was disappointed. But at least I managed to wear it once.

It’s super short and very low cut
I’m very petite and this was super short on me and the deep v neck was just too much. I couldn’t wear it anywhere. Too much even for a date!

It’s a bit heavy for hot summer
The skirt portion is a bit heavy for hot summer. The cut and all of the dress is cute but it’s just not a light breezy dress that it looks like.

I wasn’t sure about the brand, so maybe I shouldn’t have sized up, but I was swimming in it. I wear an 6/8 /28 but I figured this stile would be tight so I went for a 30 and it was ginormous.

Had to pin closed the top
If you’re busty you will need to pin closed the wrap too but the dress is gorgeous in person. The burn out velvet look is amazing. It was too long on me at 5’1” even with 4” heels. But it was worth it to have to lift it.
