Unique print and cut to the skirt
Given how the photos of the model looked, I was really worried this dress would be too short. I'm not very tall, so the dress came about 2 inches above my knee - the perfect length for a work holiday party. This particular dress seemed a little beat up - the zipper kept getting jammed and stuck in spots. Despite the zipper issues, the fit is very fun, accentuating a small waist and the skirt moves and flows very nicely. Add this to the list of dresses I didn't want to send back!

Versatile dress - dress it up or down!
I rented this dress for 8 days and wore it to work, a nice dinner, and a PR event and the dress worked and was appropriate in all of the situations. The fit is perfect - it cinches in at the waist and creates a beautiful hourglass figure. If you have muscular arms, it also shows those off! In cooler environments (for example, the office), and I put a cardigan over the dress, it looked a little boxy because the waist wasn't as accentuated, but this wasn't a huge problem. Although the weather has gotten chillier and I've been wearing the dress with tights, I could see this being an all-year round option based on the pattern and fabric. I love this dress and will rent it again and again!

Pretty in Pink!
If you have a rosy skin complexion, this dress will bring it out (in a good way). I'm also very fair in skintone with light eyes and hair, so this dress did a great job of "brightening" me up. The fit is very flattering for someone smaller in the chest with hips - I felt that the dress accentuated my body and the open back drew attention to my muscular lats and shoulders. I've already reserved this beautiful dress for another event and wish I could buy it!

Flattering Fit, Beautiful and Bright Colors!
Although the cut of this dress is conservative, the colors are fun enough and the cut accentuates the waist and the bust to create a look that's guaranteed to get lots of attention. As some reviewers have mentioned, the dress fits a little snug in the lower ribcage portion, but overall, I felt like I had the perfect hourglass figure. Because I have lighter hair and eyes, the bright pink and gold brought out the rosy undertones in my skin and green in my eyes. I will rent this dress again and again!

Fun, Summery Print - Photo Doesn't Do it Justice!
When the original dress I selected did not fit, the awesome Rent the Runway stylist team suggested this dress to me. I was looking for something bright and summery and this sure fit the bill! The colors are much more vivid in person than the photos suggest. The fit of this dress was flattering and I was also surprised by how comfortable it was. Many thanks to the RTR team for suggesting this dress - it was a great way to try something new!

Cute, Summery Print - Runs Big on Top
When I first saw this dress online, it was love at first sight! I loved the retro cut and fun, summery floral and thought it would be perfect for a dinner fundraiser that I was attending. Unfortunately, when I tried on the size 0, there was at least 3.5 inches of excess strap on each shoulder; I kid you not. Even if I fashion taped the top to have it stay up, the straps were still so long to the point that they were falling down my arms. Thankfully, the Rent the Runway customer support team came to the rescue and helped me find a replacement dress when things were getting down to the wire! I appreciate how responsive and helpful they were. Too bad about this dress, though!

Why wear black when you can wear red?!
I rented this gorgeous, vibrant ruby red dress for dinner at Per Se; while everyone else was donning black, this red stunner makes stand apart from the crowd. The particular dress I received had little pulls in the lace (probably due to someone's rings or bracelets getting caught on the lace), but it was not terribly noticeable (especially when sitting down at dinner). Other competitive athletes can probably relate (and I sound like a broken record on all of my RTR reviews), but I struggle with having dresses fit in the bust area due to a muscular and lean upper body. The XS was definitely big on top, relative to the hip/ waist area, and the structure of the dress on top made me look like the widest part of my bust was a little "pointy" because I did not fill it out, but the rest of the dress was such a flattering curve-kisser that I don't think the bust situation drew too much negative attention. Even after a 9 course tasting dinner, this dress fit comfortably - a definite plus.

Not Ideal if Smaller in the Bust Area
I wanted to love this dress - the print is so fun, playful and colorful. After a long and depressing winter, this is just the dress I needed to have a pop of color at a party. Unfortunately, this dress is not meant for those of us smaller in the bust area. Even with a 0, my entire bra was exposed - the free samples of Hollywood Fashion Tape that came with my rental certainly helped, but my bra was still peeking through the corners of the square neckline. Also, the shirring at the waist creates the illusion of a bloated belly/ beer belly, as many other reviewers have mentioned. As a competitive athlete, this dress did nothing to accentuate the areas of my body that I like (smaller waist, sculpted shoulders) and drew all of the attention to areas I'd rather forget (smaller bust). The end result was a sloppy look, especially since I kept adjusting the top of the dress to ensure my bra wasn't completely exposed.

Beautiful, Classic Dress!
I wore this dress to an event at the James Beard Foundation. I ordered the 2 as my regular size and the 0 as my backup. The 2 was very big at the waist and the criss-cross ribbons in the back were gaping, so I ended up wearing the 0. The color is vibrant red and the structure of the dress is flattering. It has a slightly retro and whimsical feel to it. My only complaint is the zipper - for a designer dress, it is not very good quality and kept getting caught on the fabric lining the dress. I actually had to have my dad zip me up as I held the fabric away from the zipper. Once we finally got the dress on, it was great!

Beautiful dress with Retro feel!
This is a beautiful fall and winter dress - the neoprene fabric is heavier, so it may not be ideal in warmer climates or during the summer months. The cut and the print feel very retro and bohemian - I was a little worried that I might look like I was wearing grandma's curtains, but everything about the dress was well-made. I am usually either a 0 or a 2 and I opted for the 0 - everything fit well but I did notice that the sleeves were a bit snug (I am a competitive athlete with muscular arms). Otherwise, a beautiful dress to wear to work and for more conservative dinners and events.

Perfect dress - summer or winter, doesn't matter!
I first rented this dress for a bachelorette party and that's when I fell in LOVE. The dress fit me like a glove and it was an odd accident I even received it - my original choice from RTR was damaged and they offered me this one as my 4th ranked-ordered choice (out of 5 choices!) available that weekend. Wow, did I underestimate the power of this beautiful red dress! I got so many compliments the entire night and eventually caved in and rented AGAIN for the holiday season. I love this dress so much, I would buy it if I find it in my size. It fits perfectly in all of the right places (bust, shoulders, waist) and the color and fabric make it versatile enough for either the winter (with tights and booties) or summer. I am very petite on top but become broader in the hips, and the cut of this dress is very forgiving in the hips but gives a lot of definition and illusion of filling out the bust and shoulder area.

This dress was my second choice, as my first choice dress was unavailable.
I am much more of an "athletic" figure - I am a competitive gymnast and not very busty, at all. Although my measurements told me to opt for the 4, I'm glad I took my alternate size as a 2. The top was still ginormous on the 2 to the point my bra was completely showing in the front and I was giving everyone at the party a "free show". The waist, hips, etc. fit properly though (was way too big on the 4), it was just the top of the dress that was out of proportion on the size 2.
