Thakoon makes my favorite work dresses
Easy to wear, a fun summer color, never any complaints on these basic but beautiful work dresses from Thakoon. They’re plain enough to have a lot of latitude in the styling.

Loved the pattern and the quality is really exceptional, but for my hips and belly this was not a win, something to consider if you’re curvier. Fine to wear for the day on vacation but I wish I felt cuter because it was so well made

Breezy and low cut
Wore to see Bad Bunny (and also to the beach for Mother’s Day.) would suggest a bandeau as its low cut on the front and sides, but such a great pattern and light linen

Loved it so much that I bought it!
Rented this initially to experiment with wearing a midweight coat in a new color. Received endless compliments on this unique garment, which became such a staple I decided to keep it and make it a permanent part of my wardrobe. Spacious enough for layering with sweaters and not so warm it couldn't work as a duster in winter.

I felt like a disco ball
Paid extra outside my membership to score this showstopper for my engagement party and it was a total hit. PROs: fit TTS, nicely lined and good weight (for fall/winter) and made me incredibly easy to spot! I loved to shimmy and watch the light move, and the ombre sequins are really special. CONS: threads of sequins snagged on each other (and on everyone's jewelry that I hugged.) It's also oddly... lumpy? I had two layers of shapewear underneath and still felt like it accentuated some bumps. Not a dealbreaker and I felt magic in it but a note that the lining doesn't smooth at all.

Beautiful construction, great neckline!
Beautiful quality, nice weight to the fabric (good in between for fall or a more formal event.) Wore to a funeral with a a little sweater and think this would do well in any classy scenario. The skirt fell at a great length for me (5'5") and I loved the neckline. Would rent again to wear to something more fun.
