This dress was absolutely perfect for a daytime family wedding. I would wear this to any event that required a conservative look. Print is a gorgeous little blossom, it perfectly complemented the cherry blossoms and flowers around me in the spring wedding. The material is floaty and soft, feels very elegant and with the ruffles sits perfectly. The sleeves are slightly strange but in the end, worked out great and the strange gap at the elbow wasn't noticeable to anyone and looked fantastic in photos. The only thing that i didn't like is the tie at the waist, i think that the bow in the front cheapens the look, so i just tied it around in the back and tucked the tie in, it became completely unnoticeable and elevated the look. Definitely rent this dress!!

Sleeves are long, fit is loose. The sleeves have a beautiful pearl and gold detail, but it gets a little hidden because of how long the sleeves are (on my pretty average length arms). Print is bold and beautiful, but as the previous review mentioned the material is dull/matte look and not shiny silk. I wore to work once and then to a family dinner the next day, worked well for both. Nothing spectacular, but a fun blouse to change up my wardrobe a bit.

I rented this dress twice - once in a L and had to return without wearing because it was SO big that i felt like I could be 9 months pregnant and no one would even notice. The next time I rented a S and it was perfect with over the knee boots for a dinner/night out. Usually a wear a L, so this dress runs very big, and the S still managed to have the perfect amount of looseness to achieve the look this dress is intended to have. Definitely rent this dress is you want to look cute and still manage to make it through a 10 course meal without looking bloated.

Nice stretchy thick fabric, perfect for a winter day at work. It wasn't a stand out special dress. However it was perfect for a rotation in my wardrobe. Wore it with black tights and a navy cardigan. Length was perfect for my 5'4 stature (sometimes late spade is too long to be flattering on me). Also the A line shape was just right and not too exaggerated which is a problem for me that Kate Spade sometimes does.

I am usually a 28-30 in pants, and was surprised by how loose the size 8 was on me. I probably would have looked better in a 6, but was able to wear the 8 for a regular day at work. Very pretty dress, lightweight fabric with stretch, unfortunately on my 5'4 frame it hit me mid calf. I opted to not wear this dress because i felt very mousey in it and it just didnt look good for work in the winter with boots for me. I think i wojld have liked in the spring with some strappy heels. This dress is boxy and although i usually love shirtdresses this one just didnt cut it. I did not actually wear it because it wasnt flattering, i felt like i was going to a michael jackson costume party when i tried it on. The ruffles make the shoulders big and it just didnt look good with the long sleeves which i think are purposely cut to be longer than the wrist. I cant really think of a scenario where i would wear this because it was too embelished for work, but not cute enough for the weekend. This coat is so beautiful and perfect for every occasion. The fur collar is detachable, but I would never detach it because of how much I love it. Gorgeous fabric and ruffle detail, the photo doesn't do it justice. Even if it is designed to be buttoned up the the top (like the picture shows) I left the top two buttons open and added a gold belt which dramatically improved this dress. I had always seen this dress online but never loved the photo of the model so I never rented it, but after seeing it in person at the store I tried it on and fell in love.
