Got lots of compliments on this sweater. The cuffs were very loose, the arms a bit long, and the sweater itself just had a lot of bulk (hard to layer with my usual coats) so it was tricky to do much in the sweater. Definitely not something that I was going to try to make dinner in, for example. But for sitting around or walking and looking cute? I’m glad I rented it!

The fabric, color, shape are all gorgeous - a real ball gown to make you feel like a princess. And it has pockets! Unfortunately, I didn’t get to wear it because it was WAY too big hanging off my back. The waist fit pretty well, so I’m not sure whether I could have sized down enough to make that work. Another note: the arm cuffs are cute, but definitely restricted my motion. Proceed with caution if you’re planning on a lot of energetic dancing in this dress.

I ordered this dress as an alternate style and ended up wearing it rather than my primary choice. It was perfect for a garden wedding. Got many compliments on the dress and felt comfortable all night. I did opt for a racer back bra to ensure the straps were covered. Waist was fitted, no give, but not uncomfortable. Based on other review pictures, I had thought the dress would read as more pink/orange, but in person, the lovely background turquoise is very evident. This dress runs large, and I had to adjust the straps to the shortest possible length to make it wearable. I chose to wear it with a strapless bra - the dress itself would not be supportive enough to go without. Once on, very comfortable. Slits to about knee height on either side make for easy movement. Wore twice over my eight day rental and got compliments each time. Color in the dress especially pretty in person.

I got so many compliments on this dress! I give it four stars rather than five because the prior wear was obvious in some loose threads, beading, etc. but it was still a great choice. The beading was noticeable but not scratchy or irritating, even after a full night of dancing. I'm usually a 16-18 and the 16 fit comfortably. I didn't try on my backup size 18 because it would have been too big. In these sizes, the dress can easily be worn with a normal bra. Double layer lining means it doesn't require a separate slip or special undergarments. This dress is obviously popular and all the good reviews are well deserved.

I was surprised by how short this dress seemed to be on me - my shipping notification said I got the 18L and I forgot to check the tag, but it is clearly not long on me! That said, the green is beautiful and my husband loved the dress (for going out I would definitely add extra shapewear compared to this try on photo). The train is fun. The straps and neckline easily conceal a regular bra if that's your preference.
