I felt very pretty in it and received lots of compliments

Really loved this dress! Super pretty, it was tight around the top and flowy around the stomach and butt which is what I wanted. I LOVE the cut out in the back. This was an awesome rental!

The comments said that the dress ran large, so I went down a size for my backup dress. I'm glad I did--the smaller dress fit much better! The beading makes this dress heavier that average, but it's very comfortable. Flattering, too--it fit my body without clinging too much. There's some wear on the dress, but its not obvious unless you're really close.

The dress fit well, just slightly lose. I'm normally a 16 and wore an 18 because 16 wasn't available. I imagine the 16 would have fit perfectly. This dress was beautiful and I received many compliments, but the particular dress I received was very well worn. Loose threads were hanging off the dress everywhere where beads had fallen off, and the bottom of the dress was frayed. 

I rented this dress for a wedding at a very formal venue. It looked lovely on me and I received many compliments. 
The beading is stunning an twinkles in the candlelight. I wore a size 18 since my backup size was unavailable. I didn't feel it fit my apple figure as well as a Marina Rinaldi black and white dress I also as a new backup dress (see my other review).  I wore it for part of the wedding then switched dresses because -why not ! I probably won't rent this one again although it was a lovely dress. Just not for my figure. 

The inner lining was very silky and made it so comfortable to wear. The beading was coming off in some areas but it wasn’t noticeable and I didn’t have any issues losing more when I wore it. It was big on me, so the waist sat down lower than it should but it was still flattering and beautiful. I suggest ordering a backup size smaller than you normally wear. 

I loved this dress. Even thought it was heavy, you didn’t notice it while it was on. Received many compliments as well! I hope that I have another event with different people so I can wear it again! I’m not a dress girl, and I just fell in love with this dress. 

Comfortable dress and received lots of compliments.

Wore this dress for a wedding, and absolutely loved it. While I could've gone down a size, the bigger dress fit my chest area better. While the dress was heavy on the hanger, it felt light and comfortable all night. I would definitely rent this again for another formal event!

I wish the back had laid flatter on the sides of the open part, but overall, very comfortable and flattering.

This dress fit PERFECTLY! Size 2 is my typical size and this dress fit on the (slightly) larger side of true to size. It was just roomy enough to be comfortable without being baggy. The length and cut in the front made it feel very classy and conservative, but the back made it fun and unique. The material was gorgeous and luxurious looking. The dress was heavy (beading and double lining), but not uncomfortably so. It was perfect for a fall wedding in Georgia with high 60 degree weather. I would definitely recommend this dress! 

I am usually an 8 but just to be safe I rented a 10 as a backup. The 8 fit perfectly and I didn't need a slip. Can definitely and easily go braless with this dress. It is comfortable and gorgeous. I received many compliments through the night. The only issue was that some of the stitching is starting to go underneath the 8 (there was a string hanging down), but otherwise I was thrilled with this dress!

This dress was the backup to a dress I loved from the web. This dress was immediately my favorite when I pulled it out of the packaging.  It was very nice and conservative looking with a pop from the beading.  I wore this to a formal event and felt at home and received many compliments.  It did run big, but was comfortable to sit in, didn't pull, and the zipper was easy to do by myself.  I would buy this dress as it was a winner!

The theme of the event was "Hemingway Style" so I thought this was a modern take on the 1920s flapper. This dress was very easy to wear and I received lots of compliments! I could have worn my normal size 16, but there is no stretch so I'm glad that I had the 18 as a backup and I could be comfortable and confident. I loved how it was sparkly, but not too heavy with beading. 10/10. Would rent again!

It fit very nicely! The back added a little hint of sexy. It was very sparkly and form fitting waist up. It was a tad long but I'm am 5'3. Great holiday party dress. 

This was the dress I originally planned to wear to a 40th wedding anniversary celebration, but decided to go with my second choice. First, online I thought the dress was midnight blue but it was black. Secondly, the beading is very heavy and I live in South Mississippi, which means it was extremely too hot to wear. It's a nice dress but was all wrong for this occasion.

The beading on this dress is gorgeous. I wore it to a wedding, and received a number of compliments. Comfortable, can be worn with a normal bra, etc. It's not as scratchy as I have found many sequin/embellished garments to be. The downfall really was the cut. It ran large on me (I definitely should've sized down), and the waistline was WAY below my actual waist. I had to tie string and fold the torso portion over it, which was a actually nice effect, but annoying to constantly adjust. That also helped the length, which was long on my 5'2" frame. Overall, I did really like the dress! Just probably should've sized down!

I wore this to a graduation dinner and it was lovely and very comfortable. With the sparkles and open back, it's a nice combination of elegance and fun. I usually wear a size 4, but ended up wearing a 2 as the opening in the back was more snug in the smaller size. I wore a Nubra with it, but the dress is nicely lined for someone who prefers to go braless.  

I got so many compliments on this dress! I give it four stars rather than five because the prior wear was obvious in some loose threads, beading, etc. but it was still a great choice. The beading was noticeable but not scratchy or irritating, even after a full night of dancing. I'm usually a 16-18 and the 16 fit comfortably. I didn't try on my backup size 18 because it would have been too big.  In these sizes, the dress can easily be worn with a normal bra. Double layer lining means it doesn't require a separate slip or special undergarments. This dress is obviously popular and all the good reviews are well deserved. 

This was the 4th option I has for the event. Definitely not my first, second or 5th choice but it was nice enough. It fit well enough. It's super heavy and the fabric rubs your skin raw. Wouldn't rent again.

This dress was perfect for a fundraising gala cocktail party and dinner that I attended for work.  I liked the bit of sleeve and the length but also the fun open back.  It is very heavy, but not uncomfortable and wasn't too hot even at an event that ran warm.  The 10 fit true to size, maybe a tad big in the top.  I would have worn the 8 for a better fit in the top but the waist was too small.  With the dress being heavy and plenty thick, wearing without a bra was not an issue.  I got lots of compliments and loved this dress!

Lovely dress! I wore it to a wedding in New Orleans and it was perfect. The beading is heavy and forgives and body issues. Hangs great. It zips up the back. Hem is just below the knees. 

This dress was stunning in person. It was heavy due to all the beading but comfortable to wear. I found it to be extremely flattering! I am actually about to rent it again. I run between a 20 and 22 depending on brand, the 22 fit me nicely with a little bit of room. The 20 was a bit too snug.  

People I did not know at all told me that my dress was beautiful. It's a flattering cut. I wore the the 16 W b/c the backup was way too large.  I wish I'd ordered the 14. I think it would have fit and had a shorter waist.  I'm 5 ft., apple shape, 184 lbs, so a lot of large sizes are too long and too long in the waist.  You can see where the hem hit. So if anything, I'd say this dress runs a tad bit large. It's heavy, but not so much that it is uncomfortable. 

This dress was beautifully made and very comfortable. Has a nice weight to it and feels very expensive. It's a perfect dress for a pear-shaped body, the skirt is full cut without adding any volume. You can't wear a bra with it, but I wore self-adhesive bra cups and they worked perfectly.

I absolutely love this dress. The beading is gorgeous and I love the color. The open back is amazing and really makes it unique. The length was really great (I wore it to church on Christmas Eve). I would definitely recommend this dress!!

I rented this dress for my work holiday party, which was a masquerade ball theme, and it was perfect! It was sparkly enough to be festive for the occasion, but was still SO COMFORTABLE. I would have ordered both the 14 and 16, but the 14 wasn't available, so i wore the 16. It was a little big, but not bad enough to make the dress shapeless, plus I didn't have to wear spanx or other shapewear, which is always a win! I got so many compliments, and felt wonderful al night! Would definitely recommend! 

Beautiful dress, very easy to accessorize for a themed event. Nice length- a tad long if you are under 5'5". No stretch to the dress. Seemed like some beading was missing but was not so noticeable with ling jewelry. Looks expensive! 

This dress fits like a dream. The beadwork is impeccable, and the open back is so subtly sexy. It was not only gorgeous and elegant, but it was also very comfortable. Would 100% rent again. I wish this belonged to me!

Felt amazing in this dress. Wore it to a wedding and didn't need to wear spanks underneath, bonus!!  I usually wear a 14 but after reading reviews I got a 12 as a backup size, and I'm glad I did. The 14 was baggy on me. I love the cut out in the back, very sexy. I look forward to another formal occasion so I can rent this dress again. 

This dress is so beautiful, and I got so many compliments on it throughout the evening--"stunning" was probably the most frequent word used! It is heavy due to all the beading, but it lays nicely and was very comfortable. I was able to dance for hours with no issues. It's so flattering, and I was able to wear it with a normal bra (since the plus sizes don't have the open back)! It didn't need Spanx, since the beaded overlay disguises any lumps and bumps, but I decided to wear some anyway for a bit smoother line. I hated to have to send this dress back after the wedding--I would have loved to keep it even though I'm not sure when I'd wear it next.

This was a great dress, although definitely better for a fall or winter event (it has 3 layers so is actually pretty warm). Dress runs big so I would size down for your backup size. I'm really short (5'1) so this dress hit couple inches below my knee but if you are taller it will be shorter. It had an odd seam across the mid section which made it feel a little tight there, but otherwise fit well. It gapped a bit in the back but I'd definitely rent this again. 

This dress is all about the open back. You pretty much can't wear a bra, but the dress is tight enough to be supportive and sexy enough to throw caution to the wind. So go ahead and strut your stuff!

Overall I really enjoyed wearing this dress. It’s great quality and comfortable. I got a ton of compliments on how pretty it was from people I don’t know so that was fun! The material is thick and the dress is heavy- might be too hot for summer. I wore it without a bra and it was fine because the material is so thick. The back is pretty open- it took me awhile to feel comfortable and like my whole back wasn’t showing. I have a short torso so it gapped a little bit. I tried taping it with some body tape but it didn’t stick. Overall, it was a good experience and fun to wear and dance in!

I loved this dress, however I could not zip the 6.  I should have ordered the 8, in retrospect, but I can normally shimmy into a 6.  No, this fabric has little to no give; definitely order your bigger size.  Other than that, it was an outstanding dress and I got tons of compliment. Felt confident in this dress. 

This dress fit true to size and made me feel fantastic. I wore this dress to a wedding with a"under the starry night" theme and it was a hit! Beautiful beading, very high quality. The back is sexy but classy with the triangle cutout. One thing to note is that due to the beading on the dress it is a little heavy, but I was still able to dance and feel comfortable.
