Too short
The dress fit me BEAUTIFULLY but was about 3 inches too short for me. Wish this came in long lengths. Had to order replacements.

I don't know on what planet this was a XXL, but I couldn't even get it on. It was SO SHORT, especially the inner layer. Even if I could have gotten this dress zipped, the outer layer would have been above my ankles and the inner layer would have BARELY covered my backside. If you're petite, I'm sure this would look fabulous. But this is not a dress for tall women or ones who enjoy french fries

Perfect Daytime Dress
Wore this to a baby shower and she was having a boy. I got so many compliments on this dress. The 16 would have definitely fit better but it wasn't available. Decided it was safer to size up than down because it was a wrap dress. The entire dress is 100% cotton, which is great for comfort but it doesn't travel well. I had to take an iron to it for almost half an hour, especially around the neckline & sleeves. I'm extremely tall so waists of dresses actually hitting my waist and overall length are typically my two largest obstacles. No problems here with this dress

Forgiving & Comfortable
This stretchy & very forgiving which is awesome. I'm very tall and typically have issues with getting dresses to actually hit my waist at the right spot. This still happened with this dress, but it was least close. The 16 hit my waist a bit better, but was too big everywhere else. The fabric of the skirt is much heavier than the top. The fabric belt/waistband was loose in between some of seams and had to be taped down

Great Dress!
I rented this dress for my boyfriend's birthday at the Magic Castle in LA (private club with strict cocktail dress code). The 12 fit great when I normally edge more towards a 14 at RTR. Length was SO GOOD for my tall frame. I felt beautiful. The open back is nice surprise. I wore it without a bra no problem, but I'm only a B. Very forgiving/hiding anything you want to hide

I rented this for my friend's backyard engagement party. The 14 "fit" me meaning it wasn't tight, I could size it up, etc. But the waist hit me in the entirely wrong place. It was too high for my natural waist, but not high enough to be empire. It made me look pregnant. If you're a normal height, this dress should fit you fine

I rented the 12L & 14L for a formal event at work. I wore the 14 because it gave me more comfortable space in the ribcage and tick more length, but I could have worn the 12. I went without a bra (again for rib space). I'm only a B so there was a little gaping because I didn't fill it out all the way, but the dress provided enough support. I'm 6'1" and the dress was perfect length; I wore 2 1/2" heels. It was extremely comfortable, light and flowy. The picture has weird lighting from the event venue, but it's a "Cinderella" silver/blue color. Great for dancing . The gathering under the bust does wonders with giving you a defined waist and hiding a tummy

Great pop of color
I rented the 12 & 14 for a wedding. The 12 fit, but the 14 offered much more room across the chest (my rib cage/shoulders are broad, I'm only a B cup). The high-low hem is great. I deducted a star because the gathering under the bust was poorly constructed. It made the fabric on my bust lay weird. I wore a belt to hide it. And yes, the hook & eye closure is in the dumbest place ever and I pinned it at the amount of cleavage I was willing to show

Comfortable & Versatile
This dress is FANTASTIC for hiding a tummy. I've put on a little weight recently and you couldn't tell, even after I ate a 5 course meal. I rented this for dinner at Disneyland's private Club 33. I'm extremely tall and this dress went to my knees. The chest area was snug on me, almost to the point where I thought about not wearing it. I wore it without a bra & wore it around the house for a while to create some breathing room in the fabric. The pockets are AMAZING. I didn't carry a purse & you couldn't tell I was stashing a bunch of stuff in the dress. I didn't want to take it off & send it back

This is a very pretty dress. It was sent to me as a back up, it just wasn't good for my body type. There's absolutely NO forgiveness in the midsection. I also have a broad chest/shoulders, so the dress cut in a bit as it went up the sleeves giving me that "underarm fat" look. Undergarments are very visible. Basically this dress hides nothing

Showstopper!
I rented this dress for my 30th birthday party so I definitely wanted to be the center of attention. This dress definitely did that! I normally wear a 12 and that's what I rented/wore. Like the other reviews, the ribbon around the ribcage is very tight, but I could still wear it. The length was surprisingly awesome considering I'm almost 6'1". My cup size is ALMOST a B and you can see what the dress did to my chest. I can't imagine it accommodating much more than a full B/small C. I felt super sexy in this dress and danced for hours in it

surprisingly comfortable!
I rented this for Valentine's Day dinner. I usually wear a 12 in RTR dresses, so I rented the 12 & 14. I couldn't get the 12 over my hips/butt. The 14 fit great! I wore Spanx to smooth out my tummy but I didn't need them to get the dress to fit. The length was AMAZING! I'm almost 6'1" and it went to my knees easily. The sleeves weren't too tight (which happens to me a lot in RTR dresses). Very rich color that would look great on all skin tones. Easy to move around, walk, sit, get out of the car, etc. Planning on renting again for a wedding

Rented this for a birthday at Magic Castle in Hollywood in January. I haven't had the best luck with renting dress with sleeves. They usually end up being too small/tight that I can't wear the dress. The sleeves on this dress were PERFECT! Not too short & have a lot of give. I normally wear a 12 but it wasn't available so I rented the 14. It fit great. I didn't wear a bra because the dress held the girls right in place. I did wear spanx to smooth out the tummy area, but the dress fit without them. I'm very tall and the dress hit right above my knee. Incredibly comfortable

best dress I've ever rented!
I rented this dress for my nephew's high school graduation. I've rented 10+ dresses from RTR and this has been my favorite! it fit like a glove, the length was PERFECT for my tall frame, the color was beautiful, the fabric was breezy (which was fantastic for Texas in June) and I felt beautiful! The beading was right at my waist & was a wonderful detail. I paired it with nude wedges & gold drop earrings. I would recommend this dress for women 5'8" or taller. I'm 6ft and it still went past my knees, so I imagine it would make short women look shorter

I rented this for a "Glitter Gala" so it definitely went with the theme well. Everyone said this ran large, so I rented the 8L & 10L. The 8 was super short, the 10 I could zip up but was tight in the ribs. I ended up needing the 12L overnighted, it fit. I got lots of compliments, but I didn't feel that pretty in this dress. I thought the draping at the hips made mine look bigger than they were (which is already a problem being pear-shaped). It worked well for the event, but I wouldn't rent it again

This is a beautiful dress in a rich color. I normally wear a 10 in real clothes, but a 12 in RTR dresses. I rented the 12 & 14 as a backup. The 14 gave me better length (but the 12 wasn't too short by any means) and more room in my hips, but the open back was gaping. I ended up wearing the 12 & investing in spanx. I felt pretty in this dress, but it wasn't a knockout. I would recommend for women who are apple shaped, not pear. There seems to be way more room in the bust than the hips

not what I expected
This were larger than I expected. The color is a MUCH darker red than in the picture, not bright happy red I was anticipating. The fact that they're clip-on make them very uncomfortable, add their weight and they're falling off your ears. I rented them for Valentine's day to be a pop of red on a black dress with red shoes. I didn't wear them. Disappointed

Who were these sleeves made for?! I rented the 10 & the 12. Both had good length (I'm 6ft tall) and plenty of room for my hips/pear figure. But those SLEEVES! I couldn't even get my arm in enough to zip up the dress. The part of the dress that supposed to be in your underarm was just past my elbows. DON'T RENT! If you're looking for something with sleeves in the black lace category, go with Milly Sara Lace Shift dress. This was the first RTR I rented that I couldn't make work. Luckily, RTR did a fabulous job getting me a replacement dress that fit in time

Classy yet Sexy
I was worried about this dress being too small. My regular dress size is a 10 but I always end up in a 12 if it's an RTR dress. I'm VERY tall but the length was fine. Had to be a bit careful when getting up or sitting down, but no big deal. I rented this for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. I wouldn't recommend it for a wedding where you plan on doing a lot of dancing. The sleeves were tight, but nothing I couldn't deal with. The waist was a little big because it was the 12 (but I needed the 12 for length & sleeve tightness) so I added a skinny nude belt. It looked AWESOME. The lace is very sexy in a classy way. I wore my hair up so you could see the "V" neckline in the back. Added black pumps & my boyfriend was speechless, said I was the best part of the birthday :)

Amazing dress!
I rented this dress for a 1920s themed event on the Queen Mary. I rented the 10 & 12. They both fit, but the 12 gave me a little more wiggle room around my ribcage. I LOVED THE LENGTH! I'm very tall (6 feet) and this dress went to my knees. Such a beautiful silhouette giving me a great waist. The lace is gorgeous & the pleats! I can't wait to rent it again

Perfect LBD!
I rented this for my 10 year high school reunion. PERFECT! I wanted something simple without looking too overdressed. I rented the 10 & the 12. The 10 was a TINY bit snug across the chest, so I ended up wearing the 12. It didn't show off my waist as well as the 10, but I liked that it gave me a little extra length as well (I'm 6 feet!) The weight of the fabric kept the full skirt down so I never had to worry about flashing anything. I paired it with the RJ Graziano Turq Isle Necklace & some matching turquoise flats. This is a WONDERFUL dress that would look great on any body type. Tall girls don't be afraid! I'm always very conscious of the length of the dresses I rent on RTR & this one is fantastic!

I rented this dress for my birthday at a piano bar. I usually rent a 10 & 12 as a back-up. Everyone recommended to size down for backup. Glad I did! Because I ended up wearing the 8. It was so comfortable, the color was great on my skin, it wasn't too short (which is always a problem with my height) & it wasn't too tight in hips or big in the bust. I did need to pin the shoulder to my bra (I did not receive any fashion tape), but I didn't have issues with the front opening. I felt fantastic in this dress! Accentuates the great parts & hides the not-so-great. I added a thin silver belt to emphasize my waist

All the wrong places
The red color wasn't as vibrant as I'd hope, it was more pinkish (which I'm NOT a fan of). The ruching hit all the wrong places, highlighting the cons instead of covering them up. The hips were tight & the one shoulder sat funny. I ended up loving & wearing my back-up dress

I wore this to my dance students' spring showcase (hence the crazy looking kids in the picture). Like everyone else said, it's more of a pretty green than yellow. Still beautiful. I got a ridiculous amount of compliments on this dress. I normally wear an 8, but the 10 fit better for my hips. The cut is extremely flattering. Super comfortable. Definitely will be renting again!

Picture does not do this dress justice! It's gorgeous! I got an array of compliments on it at a fall wedding in San Francisco. I've rented Sachin + Babi before and all their dresses look great on tall, thin-framed women.
