When a stranger came up and complemented me
True to fit. I wear a 10 normally, I rented 10 and 12 and 12 felt like I could move and eat comfortably. I'm a 36DD, I almost felt like I didn't need a strapless bra because it was so right at the chest. Heavy material, definitely a winter dress. Sleeves were a bit loose on lower arms, not a big deal.

Great for different types of events
I wore this to a daytime event, and though sheer on top, i felt comfortable for the conservative event i was attending, my son's cotillion parent dance. It was form fitting yet very comfortable, a little give in the mid section, but not much. I was able to wear a normal strapless bra for support. I almost wore a black tank under as well for more modesty, but didnt think I needed it at the last minute. The top was sheer, but the flower lace pattern was heavy and I felt covered up.

Very flattering and elegant
Get this dress!! I felt prettier than on my wedding day! I am 5'3", I wore 3-4 in heels, the length was perfect. The material is very flattering, I agree with other reviewers who said you could see underwear lines, I wore spanx and a strapless bra anyway, I felt more comfortable, not too noticeable bra lines I thought . Rent this dress if you want to feel unique, and stand out in an elegant, understated way. I wore this to a work party, hair up and dangly earrings look great with the dress! The blue color was darker than in the model photo, closer to a light navy, just FYI. I usually wear a 10-12 in normal clothes these days. I wore to a black tie gala, will try this designer again for sure!

Cleavage is not for the faint of heart
I love the fabric. Sleeves kept me warm, print was unique and beautiful without being too loud. There were some fine metallic threads in the print so the dress had a lux, heavy silk sheen throughout. However, if u have breasts, the dress will not work without a navy camisole underneath. I rented this dress knowing that, I am a D cup, no regrets because the fabric/print is so unique. Also, I am only 5'3", the dress is short, I would not have felt comfortable sitting down if I hadn't worn tights.

Unique color
As others have said, the color is a deep pink. I wore this to a work related charity dinner, felt very professional yet slightly sexy. I'm a 34D cup, so though the cleavage was covered by lace, the deep V neckline did create definite cleavage. A strapless bra is best, however I wore a bra with "clear" straps and felt they were not noticeable. I have gained a little weight ( 5'3", now 158lbs) and now wear a size 10 in everyday clothes, the size 12 fit perfectly. I did not try on the 10, but I doubt it would have fit. I would suggest sizing up, especially if a C or D cup bra.

Very sparkly
Very straight dress, may not work for very curvy women. Sized up from usual 8 to 10 for room in bust( I'm 34D). Lining was too long, had to use fashion tape to keep in place, can be seen in photo in front. Dress was perfect for holiday party, felt sexy in dress though very covered up overall. Nude color dress with gold and silver sequins, my young son said I looked like "a Christmas ornament", but I think it was a compliment. It was a very fun dress, easy to dance in.

Perfection
I wore this dress to a work holiday party. Despite V neckline, was tasteful and not too revealing, felt very work appropriate with other professionals. Color was beautiful, material very thick, felt very well made and tailored. Dress was in perfect condition. Very flattering for most body types. Would definitely rent again and highly recommend. Would love to try other dresses from this designer now!

Very unique colors
I love this dress. Rent it. Now. The material is stretchy, more than I expected, but without being too clingy. I felt like it hugged curves well, but was very forgiving. Very comfortable to wear, long sleeves kept me warm on a cold winter night, this dress would probably be too much if it is a warm environment. I was worried about the length, but I'm 5'3", the dress was just at the knees, not too long or odd looking when wearing heels. The color is a beautiful navy with green lace that looks almost golden depending on the lighting. The material made me feel very elegant. Very unique if you are in a sea of little black dresses.

Very comfortable , easy to wear
Wore to a daytime event, very flattering for curvy figure. I agree as previously commented, dress colors look "faded" but that is just the color and style of dress. The white stripes are actually ivory, I wore a white sweater with it, and it did not match, but no one seemed to notice. Very comfortable, material felt casual, probably not for a nighttime event. Zipper is on the side, I wore size 10 for better fit in bust area, I'm a 34D, but the size 8 fit fine in waist.

Neoprene is not for everyone...
This dress did not work for me. I am normally a size 8, both M and L fit, but the material was not flattering. Even with spanx, every curve looked more like a bulge, and every bulge was magnified. I wore with spanx to no avail. The print was beautiful on the dress on the hanger, but when stretched over a curvy body the design was distorted and brought attention to the bulges. If you have any midsection bulges, you will not be happy in this dress. Probably better for athletic built bodies. I was not able to wear it to my husband's birthday celebration, but RTR did a great job in giving me a credit so I can try another dress again.

Great unusual colors
Wore this to work then to family dinner out. Great colors, but fit is a bit odd. I am size 8, always a medium, and the small fit well. I definitely would size down. I am a 34D, the top was kinda loose and made me look larger on top and was not that attractive. The color blocking on top hit me in the wrong area, so the horizontal navy line looked like it should be creating an empire waist, but it didn't. I felt classy, and it was very comfortable to wear, but I wouldn't wear it to a party or if you were larger than a B cup. The length was a little long for me, I am only 5'3", hem was at mid calf. The vertical pleating held up very well to be worn all day, sitting for long periods, etc.

Wear this dress if you want to be noticed.
I am usually a 8, but the 10 fit better for my 34D chest. The 8 fit well everywhere else , and I could have worn the size 8 if I didn't have a choice. The deep yellow color is unique, looks great on darker skin tones in my opinion. Liner material I felt was thin, then with lace overlay, showed every bulge but spanx solved the problem easily. Only complaint was that the two small hooks at neckline above zipper in back easily kept coming undone, and over course of evening, friends had to keep redoing them. For my height of 5'3", the dress came just below my knees. Danced in the evening without restriction at arms or shoulders.

Beautiful unique color.
First, RTR stylists are great. When my backup size wasn't available, they recommended this dress. The color is beautiful , great for maybe daytime instead of night in my opinion. I am a size 8 off the rack, size 10 for most RTR dresses. The 12 actually fit fine, without being constrictive and not feeling like every bulge would show. I did not wear spanx. I think if I had the size 10 it would have fit, but with my 34D chest, the 12 was comfortable. The lacy appliqués are starting to show some wear, but only when you look closely. My husband standing right next to me couldn't tell. The material definitely has some stretch to it in the bottom half, which makes it comfortable to wear. The lace on the back is low, and my strapless bra had to be taped very low on the back to be invisible, making it not optimally supportive. Probably easier to wear for B sized cup and similar. I also had to tape the bra to the dress so it wouldn't start peeking out under lace in front. Very elegant dress, I'm 5'3, hem hit just below knees.

I love this dress! It was well fitted, true to size, and I felt great in it.
The fit was tight on top for a 34D cup, I felt a bit "squished" even with a minimizer bra on, but I still felt very comfortable and confident. The only reason for taking off a star was the inner lining was black, and was slipping beneath the hem, and required some double stick body tape to keep the black liner inside the hot pink hem. I also had the size 8, my usual size, which I was able to zip up, but felt uncomfortable in. I felt minimal difference between size 8 and 10. Dress felt well made, no " give" to fabric, had pockets , nice flare to hips, fitted through chest and waist only.
