I was a little hesitant to rent this dress even though I thought it was absolutely gorgeous because I'm short. When my birthday came up, I figured why not try it out with my birthday discount. I'm so glad I did! I'm only 5"2 and was very happy with the length. Almost a maxi on me but I'll take it!!! I wore it with a strapless bra but probably could've gone braless since the bust with fairly fitted.

So fun! Already on the hunt to find one I can own! As someone who tends to shy away from this more boxy silhouette because it just makes me feel bigger, I loved how the fabric flared out at the bottom, it was such a fun little accent and I think added to the flattering shape of the dress. It's more of a true red than a coral/pink but I almost think the red color is even more fun. The cutouts worked with a regular strapless bra but the tiniest complaint would be that it was a tiny challenge trying to get the wrinkles out of the fabric.

Pros-- gorgeous color, neat little bra strap loops on the inside so you don't need to worry about anything going rogue. Plus such fun shoulder detailing. Cons-- I had to pick between a flattering fit in my hip/stomach area or my shoulders. I ended up going with the 6 because I wanted to enjoy drinks and dinner without sucking in the whole time. Unfortunately, because of my shorter torso, I ended up with what me and my girlfriends dubbed "triangle shoulders" because it kinda poked up/gaped up top. The bra strap holders were life savers and helped keep the gaping a little less prominent.

Absolutely adorable! I chose to wear the 6 (I had also ordered the 4) because the fabric has little to no give. With the high neckline, I was a bit too constricted in the 4. At 5' 2", this was a perfectly appropriate length for my boyfriend's company party, especially with some boots. Major disco diva vibes!

Perfect perfect perfect! Loved the pockets for holding my phone during long graduation ceremonies and the little slip underneath made it feel a little extra special. Not too low cut and the length was just right for a fun but special daytime event.

I had read that it ran small so I ordered the 4 and the 6. I'm short torso-ed so I could've been a little more comfortable with the 6 but it was gaping around the sides, where do you really want to be exposed. Luckily the 4 fit and I felt like a rockstar! Was nervous about the side cut outs but it fit comfortably with a sticky bra. Love love loved it and wish I could've kept it for myself!

I rented this for a Vegas themed Deb party that listed "bring the bling" as the attire, and boy did this dress deliver. The 4 fit like a glove, only a little bit of riding up while dancing. The black lining peaked through a little but with the dim lighting and party atmosphere no one would've noticed. Love love love this dress (and the suggested Slate&Willow earrings were gorgeous too)!
