I felt extra snazzy wearing this long flowy dress to the holiday party!
As it turns out, "Favored" is the plus size version of "To Love Again" and I am between the straight size 14 and the plus size 16. I wish there was a 14W in the Badgley Mishka dresses because they are ALL exquisite! So here is what I did to help the dress fit me well. I pinned about 2 inches at the shoulders to compensate for my short torso and stature, wore a silk scarf as a sash to create a waist, and safety pinned at the chest for modesty. I am a little bit sad that I did not get to show off the beautiful slit in the dress as there was just too much fabric for the part to show while walking and moving. This was an incredibly comfortable dress to wear while 8 months pregnant and also a great first RTR experience!

I needed a dress for a holiday party at one of New York's most well known hotels.
I am absolutely kicking myself for not ordering a back up size. The size 14R draped beautifully on my 8 month pregnant body but was unfortunately too tight on my rib cage. I took home the Favor Gown in 16P instead, which was too much fabric for me. I wish I had ordered this dress in the plus size version, "Encore" in a 16P! So ladies, please don't make the mistake I did -- do not assume that a piece is less fashionable than another piece with a higher rental price! I will definitely be saving this dress for another occasion!
