I read the reviews about the top being large, so decided to take a chance and get a smaller size than I thought I would wear, 18, and the larger. I just had a baby two months ago so I was worried that the waist would be way too small. The top was still large on the 18 and the waist just a little too small but some spanx made the fit perfect. I used fashion tape to keep the "girls" covered and it worked fantastic. The color was beautiful and paired amazing with the accessories I ordered on here. Over all very happy and I'd wear the dress again! Also have to agree with other reviews about the slit, its hidden well but perfect for sitting down. makes for a very comfortable evening. I loved the large straps, made it easy to wear any bra I wanted. 

I wore this dress to my senior prom, it's a very beautiful gown. I received compliments the whole night. However, the dress did run very big on the top and I had to pin the top together. If you can try on a smaller size along with your true size. In all the dress is amazing and I recommend it to anyone for any occasion! 

This dress was amazing!! I got compliments on the gown all night!! I received the dress as a substitute for my original choice and I must say I'm soo glad!! It had a great fit and I felt it was true to size(18 jeans xl/xxl top). This dress is the perfect mixture of classy and sexy! With a subtle slit on left side of the under slip. The neckline is quite low, I had to use some double sided tape to keep it decent. I am 5'5/5'6 and wore about a 4in heel with it and it was still slightly long. I had to hold the dress up to avoid tripping over it while I walked. Overall I HIGHLY recommend this dress!

I usually wear a 14 but RTW didn't have it in stock so I ordered a 16. It was a little big but I made it work. It was long enough for my height and I felt BEAUTIFUL! So many compliments. 

Everything was perfect, except the neckline was super-plunge!  Used some fabric tape so it wasn't like the grand canyon of cleavage!  Many compliments received!!  Normal size at time of this rental was 16/18 women's dress size.

It fit great! I had originally ordered a different dress but there was a small issue with it so one of the Rent the Runway Stylists included this as an option in my order and I fell in love. It fit perfectly. Very true to size. It flows beautifully. The color is stunning and it's the most beautiful I've ever felt. Highly recommend it. 

As it turns out, "Favored" is the plus size version of "To Love Again" and I am between the straight size 14 and the plus size 16. I wish there was a 14W in the Badgley Mishka dresses because they are ALL exquisite!  So here is what I did to help the dress fit me well. I pinned about 2 inches at the shoulders to compensate for my short torso and stature, wore a silk scarf as a sash to create a waist, and safety pinned at the chest for modesty.  I am a little bit sad that I did not get to show off the beautiful slit in the dress as there was just too much fabric for the part to show while walking and moving.  This was an incredibly comfortable dress to wear while 8 months pregnant and also a great first RTR experience!

A classic silhouette, true-to-size fit and lightweight construction. I danced all night at my friend's wedding (you'll definitely want to twirl with this billowy bottom), and received so many compliments. I didn't want to return it!

Now on to the practical: one thing to consider is the deep V neckline; you're going to need to pin it to conceal your bra, but the dress is worth it. I wore 2.5 inch heels and the dress skimmed the floor very nicely, although I did pick up the bottom when going up and down stairs. I eventually took my shoes off for dancing and the dress grazed the floor, but not excessively so. 

I also have to commend the team at RTR for their excellent customer service. The original dress I had rented became unavailable but they were still able to have this dress delivered to me on time at no extra cost. Will definitely be renting again!

Was too big for me and I could t get the smaller size but made this work with a bra. I'm a 38dd and more of a 14 than 16 so this was big but I made it work and it looked incredible!

I didn't really like the low cut of the dress...the dress was flattering...I received a lot of compliments but I wouldn't choose to wear the dress again...It was still nice.
 

Rent the Runway overnighted this dress to me when my first one didn't fit.  Great customer service overall and the dress was perfect.  I felt like a million bucks and had tons of compliments.  

A little more orange red than true red. Comfortable. Big and very low cut on the top so just got some tape. Worked well with my height in flats. Was able to wear a regular bra with this dress. Arm holes were a little big on me.

This is a BEAUTIFUL dress! Long, flow-y, gorgeous. Unfortunately it was too low cut for me to wear. 

Really runs big on the top--order a size down and stock up on fashion tape to hold it up! 

The color of this dress is beautiful. However the neckline is very very low. I had to safety pin the top of this dress for it to be appropriate. This dress is not for large chested women, beware.

The dress is really pretty and very well made, but made for a more buxom figure than mine. The lining of the skirt is slimmer than the floaty crepe, but the 16 fit my hips fine. I ordered the 16 and 18, returned both and RTR sent me a different dress for the cost of overnight shipping.  Very pleased with my experience with them!

I really wanted this dress to work. I was SWIMMING in the dress. The top is meant for someone much bustier than I (42D). I typically wear a size 22 (sometimes a 20 if I'm lucky). I believe I could have easily sized down 2 more sizes to get a better fit. The back up size 20 was also way too large. I was surprised at how off the sizing was based on comments on other dresses by the same designer. I ended up going with another back up dress. The dress is gorgeous and comes with a fun slit in the lining but the measurements are way off. It is an almost orange red.

I was so worried about how it would look but it looked absolutely stunning on me.  I got the size 16. Thought I would have to get the 18 but the extremely helpful young lady that worked with me immediately told me the 18 would be too big.  That made me happy.  I am very busty and the dress showed off my assets perfectly.  I did have to get a different bra to make sure the bra didn't show but everything was perfect.  I felt and looked like a star!

The only con I would say is that the bust was a little too large for me, but it was an easy fix.

The color isn't as vibrant as it is on the picture so it looks pinkish but it fit great and the v neck is really deep.

Large busted women may need a hidden safety pin closure at top. I am 5'8 and the long length worked well for me. Reg length was too short.

Such a BEAUTIFUL dress! But I'm 5"1 so unfortunately it was too long so I couldn't wear it out. 

The dress was sent to me as a backup as my original backup sized dress was unavailable to ship as it was damaged by the previous renter. The dress itself is gorgeous and fit at the bottom, but the top was so large it was unwearable. I'm not flat chested, but I'm also not overly well-endowed. There was so much room at the top that it could not even be pinned to become appropriate. Disappointing, but the original dress I ordered worked well enough so I was okay.
