definitely runs small, but good quality and details
I sized up from an XS to a S and this top was still a little snug across the shoulders. Great with jeans, or the lace would allow it to go dressier.

Cute and comfy, very forgiving textured denim fabric
Such a cute dress, and I like that it can be dressed up or down. I wore it to lunch at an outdoor restaurant with flat sandals, and then with white sneaks for just running errands. Both looked good. As far as sizing, if you're torn on which size to order, I'd suggest choosing the larger one. I stayed with the XS but I think the S would have given me just a little more room.

This dress is a true wrap dress, and the top part of the dress runs small and short-waisted. The combination of these factors meant that it was so tight that even pinning it closed was impossible because there just wasn't enough fabric. If you're curvy at all, recommend sizing up - and even then, you'll likely need a safety pin.

comfy jeans, but the bling at the waist is much more visible than in photos
Very comfortable jeans, I loved the fit. I chose to return them because the silver riveting at the waistband is prominent - bright silver and larger than appeared in the photos. It gave them a Western vibe.

Order up AT LEAST two sizes!
I read the reviews in advance and order up a size. It looked like it would be a very pretty dress if I would have gotten a size that fit, but I could not come close to zipping it up. Sizing up one more size would not have been sufficient, so for me it would have required ordering up 3 sizes from my usual size.

I ordered this dress for an evening, black tie optional, outdoor summer wedding. I did not end up wearing it, more on that below. Pros: the dress was true to size and the fabric was classy but fun - black satiny with a few pops of dark red poppy-like flowers. Adjustable straps. Cons: the top front of this dress was very loose and just hung, leaving the girls almost completely exposed. I'm not sure if it got stretched out somewhere along the line or if was like this at time of manufacture. It's possible that this dress might look great on someone, but that someone was not me!

I so wanted to wear this dress, but wow it was at least 4 inches too long, even with 3 inch heels.
I rented this dress for a formal wedding. Flattering fit, lovely purplish blue color, very stretchy and drapey in all the right places - but maybe too stretchy! The dress that I rented (size 2) was unusually long, so I could not wear it. Fortunately I had played it safe and ordered a backup dress, one that I've rented before from RTR and I knew it fit. This would have been a perfect dress if I were only 4 inches taller!

I'm 5' 4"" and 116 pounds, I usually take a 0 or 2, so I ordered both. I tried the 0 first, and there was no way it would work, as it was small overall. The 2 fit ok in the body, but when I zipped it up the neck felt way too tight. The zipper goes all the way up, and there's no option to leave it partially unzipped. I ended up wearing a dress from my closet for New Year's. Lesson learned: even when you've ordered two dresses, try them on as soon as they arrive, just in case!

lovely dress, conservative front but low back makes it a "sleeper"
I chose this dress as my backup but didn't wear it because my first choice dress was perfect. This one was a close second! The emerald green color was striking and would be perfect for a Holiday gala or wedding. The cut of the dress is simple but the lower cut back adds interest without straying from the classy vibe. It was long for me, though. Even with 3-inch heels I would have needed to use fabric tape to bring up the hem by another inch. Pretty dress!

Elegant but fun, a beautiful dress
I wore this dress to a formal fall wedding, and it was perfect. The fuschia color was festive and fun, perfect for fall. The styling felt current but offered enough coverage to allow for lots of dancing! I wore 3 inch heels and the length was just right, maybe a teeny bit long. It does have a very small train. The dress is lined in a satiny fabric that means it hugs curves nicely without clinging. I highly recommend this dress.

Arm holes were too small for me to even get this dress on.
Such a pretty dress! I was disappointed that one size was too large and the next size down had tiny arm holes, so I couldn't get it on. Other reviewers have mentioned this so I'm not alone. Try it but rent a backup.

I felt pretty in this flattering dress, and received many compliments on it.
I rented this dress for a black tie optional summer evening wedding in Philly. I usually take either a 0 or a 2; the 2 was unavailable. The 0 was a little snug in the waist but wasn't uncomfortable, even when I sat down to eat. I liked the shoulder detail (fun) and the wide ruffle at the bottom. Bodice is gathered enough that I was able to wear it without a bra. The dark color and somewhat heavier weight of the fabric would be perfect for spring or fall, but worked just fine for a black tie evening affair in summer. I bought strappy shoes and handbag to match because the dress color is a little brighter than navy. My dress arrived 5 days before my event, and return was quite easy. This was my first time renting from RTR and I will definitely do it again.
