Fun dress for an outdoor wedding.
Loose at top, but tighter fit (no give) under the breast. Bottom part is nice and flowy despite the more restricting inner liner. The dress was heavier and thicker than I expected. The weather at the wedding I attended was humid and mid 80s...my undergarments were soaked in sweat by the end of the night in this dress. Fabric tape helped keep my breasts from spilling out. Very fun color to dress up in. Paired well with gold jewelry, heels, and clutch.

Too small on top
The outfit looks so fun! Unfortunately not made for my body type on the top half. I'm usually a size 2, and even the size 4 did not fit on top. My SIL who has a Twiggy like body couldn't even zip up the top half. For reference: I'm a petite 5' and curvy size 2, 32DD. SIL: 5'7" and skinny size 4, 34B. I could have fit in a size 6 or 8, but the bottom half would have been way too big.

I bought it!
The print is so simple, yet playful. The torso is short, which works well for my petite frame. The fabric is soft and has some stretch (except for the waist area).

I wish this would have worked for me. I couldn't get the zipper up past my chest area (32DD, size 2), and the hip area was snug. The outfit would work well with a more slender frame, definitely not for the curvy.

Too long overall for petites.
The fabric and cut of this dress is beautiful. I just looked like I was drowning in it. The arms are too long, and the torso would look better on someone taller. The color didn't go well with my skin tone either (tan, asian, yellow tone). I really wish that this would have worked out =(

I really liked the style, cut, and color, and could have made it work by rolling up the bottom hem a bit, but unfortunately my large calves were too big for the skinny leg design. The fabric did have some give, but not enough for my body. It's definitely made for a skinny body type, not muscular petite.

For colder summer evenings
Note: I actually wore a size 2, but the dropdown list gave me a 6 as the smallest size. The weight of the heavy linen fabric was just right for colder summer evenings. Perfect for hourglass figures, but a tad too long for short torsos and petites.

Perfect for gloomy spring LA event
The length was just right for my petite frame. The thick material was helped keep me somewhat warm when the clouds rolled in for the event I was attending, yet not overheated when the sun came out. It paired well with dressy high heeled sandals.

The weather changed for the event I was wearing this outfit for, so I paired it with a light cardigan. The fit was a bit awkward at first (XS for my size 2, five foot frame), but after steaming out the wrinkles the fit was perfect. I did have to use some fabric tape for the hem, folded once, to be the right length with my four inch wedge heels. Since the back is exposed, using a nue bra worked well, especially since the fabric will visibly outline your breasts and areolas if you go bare. Using the restroom was a challenge, but as expected when wearing a jumpsuit.

flowy summer dress
For reference: 5 feet tall, 120 lbs., 32DD, curvy/athletic build I wore the dress with four inch wedge heels, so the length of the back of the dress was not a concern. I think because of the amount of boob fat I had, the top part kind of looked bunched up. I was only able to remedy this by tugging the top embroidered section down once in a while, and constantly keeping my back straight and chest up. The flowy design of the dress was perfect for a end of summer bbq given that it was warm during the day, and then easily layered on in the evening with a jacket.

Colors are perfect for a Fall event. Fit might be better for slender body types.
The dress fit well on my hourglass and petite body, except for when I wanted to raise my arms...weird pinch in the upper shoulders from the fabric. I've put on some muscle on my upper body so that may be the case. The fit would be perfect for someone with a more slender body type IMO. As for the material and details on the dress, I caught myself admiring the sleeves and the bottom hem while waiting of the wedding to start. I felt secure in this dress the entire night. It stayed put even when I stayed after the wedding to help put away the rental tables and chairs. Shy of 5' in height and 115-120lbs weight, and 32DD bust for reference.

Lovely Summer Guest of Wedding Dress
I usually wear a size 4, but the 2 was more flattering. My 32DD breasts were secure and did not need a bra for support due to the tighter fit. Even with five inch heels, the dress was still roughly five inches still too long (I am 5 feet short). My crafty aunt came up with the idea of folding the dress (inner lining and crochet outer shell) inward and securing with loose back- stitch threading with pink/peach thread. The dress felt heavier at the bottom, and I was very cautious when walking. No one noticed the difference! The dress would be best fitting a curvy and much taller (~5'10" with flats) individual IMO. Any shorter would require heels or sewing skills. I easily unraveled the stitches before returning the dress with no damage done on my part. The zipper was a bit of hassle to get on and off. **For the record, there were holes in the bottom of the liner upon arrival. I am assuming that previous renters' heels went through the fabric during use, so wedges might be a better option.

Unfortunately zipper was stuck
The side zipper was stuck at about two inches from the opening. Hence, I was unable to wear it. I was able to try the dress in the past at Nordstrom, but am not willing to pay the full price of the dress for just one occasion. The material was soft and the dress cuts really low in the front. Although there was no risk in spillage, my cleavage (32DD) very much exposed. Thanks to the staff of Rent the Runway for their prompt response via email regarding my situation.

Comfortable and light
Size 40 was unavailable, so I rented 38. Since it is smaller than I usually wear, the bust area was a bit tight for my 32DD chest. The rest of the dress fit fine. Bad judgement on my part for not thinking about how cold I would be as soon as the sun had set. The dress would be better suited for warmer weather. Overall, I really did like what I wore. It was very comfortable, light, easy to put on (except for the bust part), and photographed well.

Bridesmaid dress for an evening wedding.
The dress was a tight fit on my chest (D cup), and the drop of the skirt was very flattering. It was completed with Nina dress sandals, teardrop earrings, purse with silver accents... all that had a shimmery black fabric/material similar to the skirt. I had a little trouble pulling the zipper at the chest area, due to the thick top fabric not having much give. I have dark yellow tone asian skin, hourglass shaped, petite muscular, and 5 feet in height... the bottom was at knee length. The other bridesmaid was much taller, a red-head, and had a very light skin tone... it complimented and fit her well too (above the knee in length for her). Sizing down was too tight for my torso area, and I imagine sizing up would be longer and bunch up in the back for my body type.
