This dress was extremely comfortable. The velvet is high quality fabric - thick with the right amount of stretch. I had no complaints with this dress & felt great in it. It was a bit long on me but I'm only 5'3". Would have loved the petite size but it wasn't available when I ordered. I received so many compliments on this dress!

Well, I LOVED this dress. I really wanted it to work for me! It looked fine, but really, it would just look better on a different body type. I have an hourglass shape (smaller in the middle; larger top and hips). I was able to wear the dress, but it was loose in my waist and a little tight in my hips (the length was good though). I think this dress would work better for someone who has a more narrow/straight frame. The material of this dress is super comfortable, light and great quality. I wore a turquoise statement necklace that I already owned and paired a yellow clutch with the dress. It was a really cute outfit, like I said, just not great for my body type.

This dress was really beautiful on and very comfortable. I'm 5'3" and it hit me right at my knee. I would have liked it to be a little shorter, but I'm a little short, so can't complain. I received a lot of compliments and felt great all night. I loved that the dress was so flattering and not too form fitting. The neckline is pretty low. I didn't think it shows too much cleavage, but I would have been more comfortable if I had thought to put some tape at the V, so it didn't fall open at all. Another plus is that you can wear a regular bra. I hate strapless and backless bras, so that's a major plus to me! I wore nude patent leather shoes with the dress; I thought this looked better than gold, but I did wear gold jewelry and clutch. If I were to wear the dress again, I'd probably go a size down. The top was a little loose; I think I would have felt a little more secure with a smaller size.
