The medium's arm holes were so small there were small bulges of arm pit fat that you could see so I opted for the large. The prior reviews didn't help too much with sizing- the Medium felt great in the midsection but had the arm pit problem and came up too high in the front. The large fit my chest better and came down more appropriately in the front. Great fabric and amazing casual look for half of my engagement photos!

The 10 fit perfectly in my chest area but was too tight around my hips so I opted for the 12. Definitely runs small but I felt great and comfortable all night and could still cut a rug when the band played "Shout!" The material has a lot of give so I somewhat wished I had gone with the 10 but overall it was a great dress. Midi length on me but it worked!

This dress made me feel amazing!! I usually wear an 8/10 but because of my chest, the 12 fit me better. I received so many compliments and definitely cut a rug on the dance floor because of how fun and comfortable the dress was. If I wore the 10 I would have likely experiences the same problem as many of the reviewers by not being able to sit for long, breathe or eat. But, sizing up worked wonders. After all, it's about the fit and not the size! The Tory Burch sizing chart did nothing for me either- if it was true to that sizing, I would have been an 8 so I'm so glad I sized up!! As someone who is 5'3, it hit around my upper calf. Would definitely think of buying! Sad to return this one.

I initially ordered the MR with the LR being my back up size. The MR fit great around the midsection and chest but the button at the chest wouldn't stay closed and it was a little tight around my lower hips. I sized up for comfort but the top was larger than what is appropriate so with a little fashion tape, I made it work. If you're bigger chested (C+) the medium won't likely fit.

The style I initially rented was not available for my mother's birthday party but RTR sent me this dress. I gravitate towards A-line and sheath style dresses because of my wider hips, broad shoulders, and larger chest. This style is not really flattering on shorter girls with an athletic to curvy build and ended up being very baggy on me. If you're taller with narrow hips though, this dress would look way better on you! (ps- totally jealous because this dress was super cute)

The dress I ordered from RTR wasn't available so this was the comparable style that was shipped to me. Unfortunately, I could barely get the dress over my hips and could not zip it at all. It's a gorgeous fabric but I would say that the 10 fit more like a 6 on me. I have wider hips and a larger chest with broad shoulders but an overall athletic build so I usually rent a 10 to be safe but unfortunately, this dress was a total wash which was unfortunate because the fabric was so lovely!

I got approximately 1 million compliments on this dress. I normally wear around an 8 for all of my clothing but tend to go up a size in formal wear because I have a broader back and larger boobs (competitively swimming for half of my life gave me a more athletic back in that way!) but overall, I would say to size up on this dress just in case.
