Perfect black dress. I wore this to a work function/dinner. People liked the dress and I loved the pockets and satin details. Fit my curves. Was a tad revealing in the bust area but worked without being over the top. Would rent again. 

Awesome little black dress! Runs a little small so I sized up and it fit perfectly. Very comfortable yet felt dressed up. Also, the pockets are a plus! 

I bought it. Pockets, Machine washable, leather accents. Fit like a glove. Versatile, no wrinkles 

It sucks everything in! Very deep V! This dress is very elegant and sexy. I wished it didn't show so much boobs but I loved it nonetheless.

I read that this dress ran a little small so I ordered a size bigger which worked out well! The smaller size probably would've fit but this one was more comfortable. This is a simple classy, black dress. Perfect for work functions. 

I absolutely love this dress! I rented it for an industry night and it was so flattering to my curvy figure! I typically wear a 12 or a 14 and the 12 was a bit snug on me. If you're a larger chested gal like myself with a curvy figure I would get the 14 rather as it seems to run a little small. I got so many compliments, I didn't mind that it was a little snug! Love this dress and would absolutely rent it again!

The length was perfect for this classy yet sexy dress. I was able to dance all nice. It fit perfectly--I would say to size up with your back up. Received many compliments.

I am normal either a 4 or a 6 depends on the name brand.. This dress I took the 6 and canceled the option of taking the extra size which I would of taken the 8. It fit me a little light by my chest. But nothing uncomfortable. If I order this specific dress again i would choose the 8 instead. But it worked well for the few hours I needed it. I danced the night away and everyone loved my dress. 

I was so worried about this dress fitting as it's fitted throughout and I have a bit of a stomach to hide BUT it was perfect!!! Paired with opaque black tights it looked great! The inside lining did ride up a bit when sitting for long periods but overall a great rental. Definitely recommend 

This dress is great. Runs small, so size up. Slit could be a little bigger in the back, but wasn't awful. Top is very flattering


Slate and Willow Black Empire Shine dress was a stunning dress. This LBD hugged my figure perfectly and flaunted my best assets. Although this dress was sleeveless, it kept me warm the fabric was pleasantly thick. The pockets are a major game changer and add so much personality to this perfect silhouette. I can not wait for my next RTR rental I had such a great experience with Customer services and overall. 

Great fit and absolutely love the pockets. Might be too snug for a large chest. 

When I was looking at the dress, I didn't know why there weren't a TON of photos because it seems like the PERFECT dress for a work christmas party where you want to look and feel sexy but not like you are trying too hard or you are showing too much.  It was such a fun dress.  Well constructed, great fit.  Try to size.  Perfect little black dress.  I always have a hard time finding the right dress because I do crossfit and have an athletic build.  Will definitely rent again!

Amazing contrast of fabrics! This Slate and Willow sheath dress runs small and we recommend sizing up for backup. If you are curvier in the hips you may want to consider sizing up for your primary size as well. It is fitted throughout the midsection, waist, hips and bust, making it work best for smaller cup sizes. The fabric has some stretch and should be worn with no bra. Pair with black strappy heels and silver jewelry. 

Snug fit, especially if you carry any weight in your midsection as I do (I couldn't wear it - needed one size up). Really cool fabric with the pockets. Vavoom vibe. I really liked it. Just needed a different size (or flatter stomach!)

It was form fitting and flattering, but the darts on the chest absolutely look like nipples, so I felt kinda weird about it. Also a tiny bit hard to walk with the cut.

-Super difficult to walk in - very tight at the knees.
-The chest area was weird and kind of bulky compared to the rest of the dress.

Formfitting and flattering, but runs small so I would suggest sizing up for your second size!

Top ran a little tight for me in some areas and loose on the sides, but overall great dress.  Got lots of compliments and looks all night!

This dress was a little roomy on top and under the arms. But, it felt and looked so good that I had to wear it anyway. It's such a beautiful cut and fabric, it was still a head-turner. Plus: pockets! 

The 10 fit perfectly in my chest area but was too tight around my hips so I opted for the 12. Definitely runs small but I felt great and comfortable all night and could still cut a rug when the band played "Shout!" The material has a lot of give so I somewhat wished I had gone with the 10 but overall it was a great dress. Midi length on me but it worked! 

I fit in both the 0 and 2, but the top fit a bit loose on the 2, so I went with the tighter 0. It was a very narrow fit down my hips to my shins, so walking up stairs and getting in and out of chairs was a bit tricky. I definitely couldn't move very fast even though I would say I'm good at walking in stiletto heels. It was also difficult to use the bathroom while wearing this dress. It was too tight to pull up from the bottom, so I had to unzip the back and pull it down in the restroom. My favorite thing about this dress was the pockets!

Great snug fit and very flattering.  I didn't even need to wear a bra. 

This dress sizzles! The side panels are made of a silky material which draws attention to the smallness of your waist. It fit like a glove and I did not have to wear a sticky bra. The only quirk: the darts on the chest make it look like you have "headlights" showing. No matter what I did, I could not keep them from pointing straight out. It's a dark color and isn't noticeable to others unless you point (no pun intended) it out. 

Neckline had just enough plunge. Fit was fantastic and form fitting to accentuate in all the right places! Loved the contrast in fabrics. Sophisticated and sexy!

I agree with the reviewers who have said that it runs slightly small.  I'd normally be a 2 but wore a 4.  The 2 probably would have worked, but the 4 was more comfortable and didn't look oversized at all.  This is super cute, the pockets/details really make it.  Length was professional and looked great.  Wore to work and then to a professional event after.  Would probably have kept it, if it was in slightly better shape (has been rented a few times, for sure).  But all in all, two big thumbs up.

Sexy but still classy. Hit me just below the knee. With the low cut top it strikes just the right balance. With a blazer could even be worn to work.

I wore this dress for a cocktail work event and it was perfect. Form fitting and stylish, but not too sexy. My husband loved me in it! You can wear a regular bra underneath (with cross cross straps, dress has no bra keeps) if you want more cleavage. All the other reviewers are right, size up for your backup size. The 2 fit perfectly especially on top, but was tight through the hips and harder to walk. The 4 was a little loser up too but easier to move. Highly recommend this dress to anyone with any and all body types, I think it would stunning on everyone. 

I loved the fit of this dress and how I felt in it! I am usually a size 6 and the 8 was pretty tight so I would say it runs small. Obviously loved the pockets it was a great twist on the LBD. Will rent again!

After reading some of the reviews, fortunately, I sized and I am happy I did. The dress definitely runs small, but it is a beautiful dress. Very sexy yet classy. Gorg! 

I was very happy with this dress! I wore it to a wedding rehearsal & it was the perfect combo of sexy and conservative! Paired with maroon heels was very nice! 

Runs small, I had a hard time getting it in and over my butt, but once it was on it was perfect! I absolutely loved this dress and got multiple compliments. 

I want this dress in my closet! It is the perfect combination of class, elegance and sexiness. I have a curvy figure and sized up one size. Some statement earrings and a clutch are all you need with this dress. 

This dress was fun to wear- the detail is satin black and pockets. Overall it's comfortable but definitely tight in the midsection. A 2 was fine (actually lower in the chest than I had hoped). But if you want a little more room and to not shimmy to get it off or to go the bathroom, size up.
