The fit is true to size, I'm 175 and I wore the size 14 to give myself some breathing room and that was a great idea. This dress is demure but sexy with the lace, but as other mentioned, it's not nearly as sexy as the picture online. I loved the fact I could wear this to a black tie work event and feel totally appropriate because of the length and how the top covered the cleavage area. It's a very elegant sexiness.

Hides every flaw with the beautiful, thick fabric. It is great if you were post-partum like me and needed something simple and chic to put on that would be forgiving. I used some clever maneuvering to make the bust fit as I didn't fill it out all the way but it was a dream. I would buy in a heartbeat. Wore it with the Kenneth jay lane clear rock crystal earrings and rented a black and gold clutch to match my simple strappy shoes. I looked and felt like a million dollars that night. Tons of compliments.

Ordered this in a 10 and should've ordered an 8. This dress is a beautiful color and very forgiving but it's rather shapeless, so it can end up a pretty lace sack! I paired this with black thick tights and black Louboutins and the black necklace as pictured. It ended up being a great look and lots of fun for an early Valentine's Dinner. You can see in the photos that it was a bit large in the shoulders but I think had I ordered a size down, it would've been fine.

These earrings are showstoppers.. I rented them out to kick off my bachlorette weekend. Too bad they'll be such a pain in the buttt and a nuisance to wear that you'll have to do what I did - tell your girlfriends to signal when your earrings are about to fall off your ear. They barely stayed on throughout the night and believe me - I wasn't whippin' my hair back and forth. I hadn't even left my hotel room to go out for the evening when one of them fell off.

I hate to say this - but, I could've done so much better than this dress. I wore this in November to my boyfriend's black tie optional party and while it was comfortable and easy to wear - all the details are lost on this dress if you're in a sea of black (which is the typical uniform in Chicago). I should've gone with the black ruffled Catherine Malandrino instead. Whatever - I'm sure my next rental will be better.

I rented this (in the Mystery Bling package) along with the Peony Lace shift dress by Robert Rodriguez. I don't normally wear big black necklaces like this, but this gave the dress a good amount of edge and was perfect since the Chicago weather brought in a cold snap which forced me to wear black tights and black Louboutins with my dress. It made the look more cohesive.

One of the former reviews was spot on and I should've taken the advice - this dress doesn't look like ANYTHING pictured online. It definitely looks like someone spilled water or liquid bleach on it - just terrible coloring and unflattering. I'm also not a far of the length - I'm not a particularly tiny girl, but that dress was mid calf on me and the back vent on the dress is seriously unflattering. The color is also not as as pictured - imagine more of a gold/cement color, not so much gray and silver. NOT A FAN!

When RTR finally sells this necklace, I'm going to buy it - huge huge fan! Substantial piece and it looks expensive. I wore it in Paris for a yacht party and it added a little more glam to my nautical themed outfit .

These are really lovely - I'd definitely rent again.
