Rubs big
Fun print for spring/summer! I previously rented this in a 2, which is already my smaller size because I find Lauren Ralph Lauren runs a tad big. I was able to wear it but it sat on my hips instead of my waste. 0 fit where I wanted it too. Still a tad long but I am short!

Saved by the jacket!
I would not have worn this without the matching jacket, as the fit was off for me. I have a long torso so the dress flared out well above my actual hips. On its own, I felt it looked too short and was just not flattering. With the jacket though, I think it gave the illusion that my hips start where the dress wanted them too and made my legs (and the dress) appear longer. Agree with other reviewers that it runs a bit small. I am between a 2 and a 4 and am glad I ordered a 4!

This top wasn’t my favorite. The color might have been a tad juvenile for work. It also isn’t made particularly well. The bunching in my chest is not the bra - it’s the lining. (Deliberately folds over itself into a triangle where darts would be but the outer material isn’t sturdy enough to hide it)

Warmer than I was expecting
This sweater was a bit warmer than I was expecting, perhaps because most of it has a second layer. It doesn’t really have spring vibes but I wore it on a chillier day in May and at least I didn’t need a jacket! Not itchy but I did wear a cami underneath. Normally this brand runs big but I’m glad I got a S (instead of XS) in this one.

Felt like a boss

A bit short
I think it looked fine under the jacket but I don’t think I would have worn it alone. I also think it looked better from the front and back but too short from the side. I went with my larger size for the dress (I’m between a 2 and 4) and definitely glad I did. It was a bit short on me, not just in overall length but specifically how it fits through the waist and hips (I have a very long torso) so I was constantly pulling this down.

Perfect black pants for petites
These are so perfect for me that I had to buy them (which I almost never do). The picture does not do them justice! They definitely run big, especially for ALC, but I listened to other reviews and sized down despite my prior experience with ALC. Very glad that I did! I am 5’3” with very short, muscular legs for my height. I usually hate how my legs look in pants but these work for me!

Beautiful set!
Great color for spring, with a bit of sparkly fun, but still office appropriate. Material is substantial enough and the skirt is long enough to look professional (but still cute). Normally I would choose my larger size for a skirt this style, but because I was renting the set, and the jacket is a bit cropped and I have a very long torso, I went with my smaller size so it would sit higher on my waist. I think this was the right call.

Fun color
I wore this to a bat mitzvah in Miami, and my sister and cousin approved! It arrived new with tags (YAY!), but I knocked off a star because there was a bit of bumpiness in the fabric in the top half of the dress (not sure how else to describe it LOL). You can see it a bit in the Photo Booth picture but overall not too noticeable. I’m between a 2 and 4. I find ALC can run a bit small so I went with the 4, but I think the 2 would have worked fine. I used sticky nipple covers instead of a strapless bra.

Loved the concept but didn't fit me right
I have become a big fan of silky, long sleeve dresses like this for work. Maybe slightly more casual than what I would have worn pre-COVID but still feels out together. The sleeves on this one are puffy, which I hear is in style for the fall. Even though I'm short, I have a long torso. I thought it was cut too short in the waist and the top of the ruffles hit on my butt instead of right under, where I think it should have. The material was also a bit stiffer than I would have preferred.

Easy and simple work dress

Fun print but a little poofy
Usually writing on clothes doesn't look professional but the letters were small enough that it worked! I'm usually a 2 or a 4, and I opted for a 2 as this dress has plenty of room in the shoulders and the hips. Wish the dress had been slightly less flared though...

High quality, relaxed and easy fit
I rented this for work on an early fall day. I'm usually a 2 or 4 depending on the brand. I usually find that Tibi runs a bit on the smaller side, but as other reviewers noted, this dress runs a bit big. High quality silk dress with a fun but sophisticated pattern. Not sure if the loose/boxy fit was super flattering but I enjoyed wearing it

Sleek and professional
I rented this for work. I was worried because some of the other reviewers described the fabric as "slinky." It's definitely on the thinner side, but it's stretchy and matte. I think it hugged my curves in a good way, but it's longer and in a dark color, so not inappropriate for work. I wear a 2 or 4 depending on the brand, and I wore a 4 in this dress.

This is definitely a statement dress and I got loads of compliments! Personally I think the shoulders were a bit too poofy for my taste, but I think that was part of the style. Based on the reviews, I went with my larger size (I'm usually a 2 or 4 and went with the 8 UK (4 US) and it fit like a glove. The dress is fitted through the waist but more forgiving in the shoulders and hips.

Something different
I rented this for work, despite the bold pattern, so I paired it with black boots to try to neutralize it a bit more. I usually love dresses by this designer, but something was a little off with this one. I felt like I had to keep pulling it down and the ruching wasn't quite right in the waist/hips. For reference, I'm a 2 or 4 depending on the brand and consistently wear a 40 IT (4 US) in this designer.

Simple but cute
I rented this for work. The navy is very dark, so the color blocking was very subtle. (The zipper in the back is not!) Material is thick and high quality. As I mentioned in my last review, I've generally had mixed results with RTR "collective" pieces, as they tend to be lower quality than the designer's main line, but I've been happy with the current release of KaufmanFranco.

Lots of shoulder!
I rented this for work, but it's only borderline work-appropriate (unless you wear a sweater). Personally I felt comfortable wearing the dress without covering up, but my date made fun of me later that night for having worn it to work! Also make sure you have the right bra... I wore one that crisscrossed in the back. Cute and flattering. I'm sometimes skeptical of the quality of the "collectives," since they tend to be targeting a lower price point than the designer, but this one seemed nice

Surprisingly flattering
I rented this for work, intending to wear it on a Friday for a casual look, but I ordered it a few days in advance because I wasn't sure if I would like it. I was worried there would be too much fabric and the print too overwhelming, but when I put it on, I was surprised at how flattering it was and almost wore it right away! I (But I ended up waiting a few days as originally planned) I also wore it again over the weekend on a date. I think it worked because the sleeves are light and sheer.

This dress needs more stretch
I rented this for work. I liked the color and the fit, but I wished the material had more stretch and wrinkled less (though I think the wrinkles look worse in my picture than it did in person). Since there is no slit, I found it difficult to walk upstairs. Shoulders were also a bit constricting.

I rented this for work, but I wasn't sure if it would be office appropriate. It is on the shorter side, but at least on me (I'm 5'3"), I think it was fine. For me the bigger issue was the top of the dress, so I covered my shoulders with a black cardigan.

Over the top sleeves but cute neckline

I rented this for work and paired with skinny jeans for an elevated casual Friday look. Got tons of compliments on the jacket. One of my colleagues told me I looked like a rock star! It's very sparkly. My original plan was to pair with a black flared skirt but it only worked with the jacket buttoned up. I think you need to wear pants to wear it open I love IRO jackets and this one is no exception! I'm consistently a 36 in their jackets.

Fit like a glove!
I rented this for work. I was surprised how well a straight sheath dress with no stretch fit my athletic/curvy, long torso/short legged body! In fact, I almost wore it on its own, but as I was looking in my closet for a scarf, I saw this jacket and wanted to wear it. (I think you need a long-ish dress like this to pull off most jackets) Dress is a really dark navy.
