Lots of compliments on a standout dress
I felt I stood out for all the right reasons in this dress. I got a ton of compliments on it and felt the fit was flattering and the fabric was both forgiving while allowing movement. The skirt length is quite long, longer than it looks on the models legs (duh, don’t know why that surprised me), so I wore heels to lengthen the space between the dress hem and the floor. Made my legs look longer, so that’s a plus!

Comfortable and sexy but runs tiny
I’m normally a 8-10 and I had to wear the XL which is a bit ridiculous. I wore a trench coat over it because as I walked, the skirt rode up to basically my butt. As a person with broad shoulders, I found the shoulder pads to be overly padded and too small in width. They moved around and felt like they were bunched up. The saving grace was the flattering neckline and the stomach ruching which was very flattering. the fabric is very stretchy so it doesn’t hide much.

Runs really small, couldn’t even zip it up. This was a backup dress so I wasn’t too disappointed but I did feel it was really tight around the butt, hips, thighs, and stomach and then large in the bust. I’m sure it would’ve been cute if they’d had a bigger size available when I ordered, so it’s hard to judge.

Would look amazing on some women
I got this as a replacement for a dress I wanted for my bachelorette. This is a dress that some women might look and feel amazing in, but I didn't feel great it. The fabric - while insanely comfortable and soft - shows every detail on your body, and I was too bloated at the time when I tried it on, to feel into it and the way I looked in it. And body dimples are fully visible. I'm used to thicker and more forgiving fabric with RtR dresses, so I got spoiled from those. Might work better with spanx or something like that!

Typically a 10 fits me right now and this ran large. The fabric is heavier than it looks and is therefore more forgiving. I have a long torso and wide chest, and felt the straps were an appropriate length; I typically find straps to be too short. I only gave a 4 out of 5 because RTR is starting to slack on deliveries and the second size (my primary choice) "wasn't available" at the last minute, and after I'd paid for it. This has happened on my last three orders from RTR.

Casual southern comfort
Was pleasantly surprised that for a Reformation dress this was actually true to size! I’m an 8-10 and the medium fit perfectly. It’s a true wrap dress with no other buttons or closures so if it’s super windy, things might get exposed. But for a warm, afternoon wedding in Arkansas, it was perfect and I got a lot of compliments. Not too small on my large shoulders, either.

Got this dress for engagement photos - as one option of many - and I laughed at myself when i put it on. I found the chest to be comically small. If you have a larger chest, you'd probably have to size up two sizes. I'm pear-shaped and felt that contributed to its poor fit.

Got it for my engagement photos and while it was a cute dress that I'd otherwise wear out, it wasn't quite good enough for photos. The length would be more flattering on someone with a shorter torso and longer legs (I have the opposite). But the neckline and adjustable straps were flattering, feminine, and secure. Didn't take any photos in it!

While it looked nice, something with the seams in the slip underneath made the dress feel like it was slightly askew / twisted around even when the dress was on perfectly straight. I did like that the straps were adjustable and felt the neck was very flattering. But, if you are hippy or have thicker thighs you will likely need to size up. It was a fine dress and I got a lot of compliments, but I was thankful to have to have kept on my jacket because it was chilly because the dress wasn't incredibly flattering for a pear shape / hourglass shape like myself.

I loved this dress; it's casual and simple, but standout at the same time. The fabric is comfortable and forgiving, but does run smaller overall than you'd infer from the sizes. I'm a size 6-8 around my waist and I couldn't button the medium. The large fit great around the waist and wasn't too big on my boobs (36B/C). I couldn't wear with a bra, but again the fabric is very forgiving because of the tight pleating. My only issue is that if you have a long torso like I do, expect to be wedged up. It was annoying/distracting and borderline painful. But, beauty is pain and I'm still considering getting the dress for another wedding because it looked so good.

I'll repeat what everyone else said - the dress is gorgeous and was perfect for an event where all I had to do was sit but I would not have been able to wear for a wedding or an event that required a lot of steps or dancing. I had to have my boyfriend hold my hand to walk up every flight of stairs because of how tight it was around my thighs. That being said, I am pear shaped so it would likely fit someone with a leaner frame a little bit more freely. Beautiful dress though, I got a lot of compliments and was comfortable enough.

I loved the dress and got a lot of compliments. I try to find dresses that hide how pair shaped I am / wide my hips legs are and this dress does that extremely well! While I was comfortable and able to move around, I will echo what everyone else said in that the slip underneath is WAY too short. I didn't heed the warning to wear with a sleep and caught myself through the lace while I sat down. Oops. Beautiful cutout in the back!! I'm a solid size 8 in most wedding dresses and the medium fit dead on.

Like most said, I felt a belt was necessary because it wasn't flattering on my body type without. Did run large, I was between a small and medium and I typically wear an 8-10 in rent the runway dresses. Was very comfortable and had a great fit but arrived with a stain on it- the pleats hid it well so I wore it anyway.

I loved this purse but didn't end up wearing it because the shoes I had to wear (it was raining and an outdoor wedding) were chunky and black and wouldn't have matched. The material is more metallic than shimmery, which you can't tell from photos so it showed some wear from being rented so frequently.

True to size. Fabric is not as thick/forgiving as some others on RtR so I was happy I had sized up. Like others said, the bust was slightly bit. I have a fairly large chest cavity and wear a C cup (36C) and I had to pull it up a little here and there. Overall, I am happy that I sized up.

Size up! I wore without bra and underwear TBH because that panty-line would've been aggressive. As always, Elizabeth and James fabric was thick and forgiving.

But, I got an email a week before my rental that the size I ordered (10R) was no longer available so I had to go with my backup. Probably not the best for curvier girls but a beautiful color!

I AM OBSESSED WITH THESE EARRINGS. Great size, not too small or large, love the natural color. They would match pretty much everything I own. I am renting them again for the next wedding I'm in. Only problem is that the string holding the tassel together started to unravel and loosen. I tried to tighten it back up by re-tying it which solved the problem. But, for the price I paid, I didn't mind.

Loved this dress but the fabric over the bust was excessive and caused a lot of saggy draping. I would say, if you are large busted (D+), this dress would be a great fit for you. I really loved it, something was just off on the bust region. Maybe pinning back some of the fabric over the chest would help it to look more fitted? Didn't take a picture because I didn't end up wearing it for the research dinner.

Exactly how you’d want a dress to fit. Was slightly lose; I usually run between 6-8 size on RtR and the 6 was perfect to slightly loose. Easy-to-move-in fabric including the sleeves. I didn’t need to wear a bra because the fabric hit me right at my chest, and I don’t have huge boobs.

The dress is beautiful and I got a lot of compliments. As most others stated, it runs small and the fabric provides little give for movement. It comes up a bit when you sit, also, so it was a bit awkward and I felt I was pulling it down a lot during the ceremony. I would say if you know you'll be standing a lot, it's a great dress. I had to cut out before the reception, but I imagine it would probably be difficult to dance in. I typically wear a 6-8 and the 8 fit only slightly snug and the 10 was way too big. Because of the layers and fabric, I was able to not wear a bra.

Large to easily fit everything you need. Comes with silver chain strap if needed, but I carried it as a clutch. The only thing I wish it had was some sort of small pocket in the side or compartments for cash/cards, but it is one open compartment throughout the entire clutch.

Wore this dress for a black tie optional wedding.
Got a lot of compliments on this dress and it fit well with the venue of a fine arts museum. It runs normal to large in size, and the material is thick and stretchy so it hides everything well. The waist and belt of fabric that goes around the chest aren't tight so there was little to no issue with squeezing out of the cutouts. I am average height with short legs and a long torso, and the length was perfect - not too long. I have a long torso and the top part fit well without the straps cutting into my traps/neck. Every so often I would feel the need to pull the dress up in the front because it looked more flattering, which resulted in a view millimeters of under boob showing... but unless you were shorter than me, no one could see that. The color comes off a bit lighter/with more teal tones with the reflection of the sun off of the sequins, so for outdoor weddings it might come off a bit lighter than in the model's photos.

I typically wear a 6-8, the dress fit great on my chest and rib case, but my side bulged out of the cutouts in both. Couldn't wear the dress in public. Not sure if going up a size would've helped as the dress would've been too big in the chest/ hip region. It's a beautiful dress, though.

Perfect outdoor dress for a wedding in sunny San Fran, CA.
This dress was amazing. The chest is a little snug, I have a larger chest (36C) and almost wore the large because of the chest but preferred a more snug fit around the waste so I went with the medium. The dress is easy to move around in and the fabric has elastic and give to it so it's flattering. The dress flares and bounces out a bit at the bottom so watch your behind when you sit and when you dance because it might make an appearance.

Wore this dress to a semi-formal cocktail gala/fundraiser.
Got a lot of compliments on this dress. Forgot to take pictures of the entire thing, but it really did end up looking nice. I am typically a size 6 in dresses and ended up wearing the medium; I thought it fit true to size. I also have a longer torso and thicker thighs/butt and it wasn't too tight/ I didn't look like a stuffed sausage. If you have shorter legs - like I do - the slip on the bottom does go down further than on the model, which was nice for the cocktail gala I attended. Like other reviewers said, the slip underneath slips up a bit so you have to check yourself before standing up after sitting down for a while. I wore a sticky bra with this, but you could probably get away with not wearing a bra at all, as the double layers of fabric make the dress material thick.
