Lovely basic dress!
Needed a dress for a wedding where I didn't really know anyone. Wanted something basic but classy. This fit the bill. I did go with a strapless bra, but depending on how it falls, you might be able to get away with a regular bra. Material was thick but not heavy, and was fitted perfectly. Would rent again!

Unfortunately this was wayyyyy too small. I am almost always a size 6, and when trying it on, I almost couldn't get out of it. Did not wear. But it was such a nice dress that I would get it again someone and go up 1 or 2 sizes at least.

Beautiful LBD for a work holiday party
Omg. Absolutely loved this RTR rental. Rented this for a work party for a job I just started and the dress code was “cocktail chic”. Dress fit me beautifully, and the little cut out gave it just a teeny bit of wow to it. The material is thick which was great for a December event in Minnesota. If I could have kept this dress, I would have. Thanks RTR for always keeping me well dressed!

Cute dress but didn't fit :(
Rented this dress for a family member. Unfortunately it did not fit, so it was not worn. However the dress was very cute, great color. Just needed a slightly bigger size. Another family member tried it on and it did fit true to size (she's 5'8", about 150lbs, and the 8 and 10 fit her fine).

Perfect LBD!
Oh em gee!! I loved this dress (so did my hubby). Very classy, great length. I loved the high neckline- but it did feel a little tight at first. Lightweight too! I didn’t feel that this dress was constricting or too tight, it was just the right amount of fitted (I could eat without worrying!). I did wear a strapless bra and had no issues. Another great dress! I love RTR!

Sparkles and more sparkles!
Rented this for my husbands school formal. Dress was a gorgeous green, emerald color. It wasnt scratchy at all, and it fit like a glove. It was a tad shorter then I usually like for these events, but it wasnt inappropriate short. I sparkled all night. I wore a strapless bra just to ensure no straps were showing. Paired with black tights and black heels. Another great RTR pick!!

Not the most standout dress, but very comfortable and well made- perfect for my work party!
I rented this for a work party that was semi formal. I didn't want anything too crazy, but I still wanted to look good. This dress was classy but cute, and a perfect length (just above my knee- and I'm 5'4"). The material is heavy, but breathable. I wore a strapless bra, but could have likely got away with a regular one. The color is nice- kind of a burgundy mixed with brown? Its a good neutral-ish color. Good for if you want to not stand out too much.I also wore with black tights and black flats. Another great dress from RTR!

Lovely color, amazing fit!
Rented this for a friends wedding. Turns out it was 90+ degrees that day, and this dress held up in the heat! The color is very nice, not too bright either. It definitely fit like a glove- I could have easily worn the 8 and been fine. I chose to go with the 6 because it fit tighter in the bust than the 8. I did wear a strapless bra, and had no issues. I paired it with nude sandals too! Another great RTR pick!

Rented this for a semi formal dance. The color is beautiful and very rich. The lace is heavier than it appears online so if you get warm dancing, just an FYI this dress will not breathe. The length and fit was perfect and the long sleeves I felt made it classy. Would rent again!

Sexy dress, cute twist on an LBD.
My husband loved this dress on me. It was cute dress- very fitted though. I liked how it had the "cutouts" and that made it stand out for me. The medium was almost too tight for me, but I would say it ran true to size. It's pretty short, just a FYI. The material was fairly thick but it was a cooler summer day so it worked out perfect. Overall, not my most favorite dress but still very cute and I enjoyed wearing it!

Favorite dress from RTR so far! Beautiful color! My hubby loved it!
I rented this for a much needed date night with my husband. It fit PERFECT. It was quite short but the dress is structured enough that I wasn't concerned about showing something I didn't want to. The colors are GORGEOUS- so bright and summery! I usually wear a 4 or 6 (more so the 4) and the 6 I wore in this dress fit me PERFECT. It is definitely more suited for more casual-dressy events. I was sad that the bra strap clip inside the dress was tore off on one side but I was happy to find out that I could still wear a normal bra without it popping out. If you are going to be doing a lot of moving it might be more of an issue than it was for me. Overall, this might be one of my favorite rentals to date! Thank you RTR!

Great dress for my graduation!
I rented this for my graduation day! It was perfect! It is so flattering on the body. The material is a bit heavier than it looks in photos but it worked out that I wasn't worried about it flying up. It's really not that heavy though. It was also on a bit on the shorter side, but nothing major. I could wear a normal bra too which was a HUGE bonus. I felt so classy and special in this dress, I highly recommend!

I rented this for a semi formal dinner/dance. I am usually a size 6 but I had to get the 4 and 8 because the 6 wasn't available. I ended up wearing the 4 and I actually think it fit me perfectly! I was also able to just wear a normal bra. It was a little longer (at my knees) but for the occasion it was nice. The dress is actually kind of heavy because of all the material. It didn't photograph the best in the dark but in the light it was beautiful. I loved having this be a LBD with a twist!

Beautiful color and dress! Another win from RTR!
I rented this dress for a November wedding in MN. It happened to be 20-something-degrees that day, so I paired it with a black cardigan, flats and tights. The dress itself is beautiful; it's not too long or short and the fabric is not heavy at all. The color isa bright vibrant pink too! I loved how the little skirt at the bottom twirled when I danced! The only con (hence the 4 star rating versus a 5 star rating) is that the front hem dips down in an unforgiving area which could leave some people feeling uncomfortable. I have a tiny waist so it wasn't much of an issue for me personally. Being my second time renting from RTR, I am absolutely thrilled with this choice and I will be back again!

Gorgeous dress! So comfortable despite the fact it was a bit short. So sad I had to return it.
As my first Rent the Runway purchase, I definitely made the right choice! I got this to wear for a semi formal dance at my husbands school. The dress is definitely a little short so if you aren't into that, definitely something to be aware of. The fit of the dress was perfect- I usually do a 6 but I also got the 4 and wore it (which fit better than the 6 I think even though I did fit fine in both) because the 6s tulle was twisted up a bit. The lace with the tulle made me feel princessy but still adult like. Overall 5 stars because it was PERFECT!
