Easy to wear ...
This ran true to size except for the end of the sleeves which were a bit tight as others have noted. They didn't bother me and I wore the dress twice before returning it. Please note that it didn't come with the belt pictured. I assume the belt got lost somewhere along the way. I did try it with several belts, but none looked right so I wore it without a belt. The first time I wore it with navy tights and navy booties. The second time (in the picture) I wore it with a dark amber (hard to describe the color) silk blouse that tied below the neck. I would rent this again.

Great quality and fit ... this is a winner!
This dress fit me perfectly. The fabric is thick with a bit of stretch. Hangs beautifully - no need for shapewear. The front is low, but since I intended to use it as a jumper it was fine. I wore the dress twice before returning it. The first time was with a cream top with pleated sleeves, cream stocking and beige booties. The second time was with a black blouse with small white circles, black tights and black heels. Sorry no pictures. Both times I was comfortable all day. I'll definitely rent this dress again.

Color and fit didn't quite work for me
The dress fit well from the waist down. The top half looked fine from the front but the cross cross straps in the back were too long - they gapped. I was trying to wear this as a jumper. If the dress fits you properly it would be really cute this way. The shirt I tried underneath was a black silk.

This was ok for me ... color washed me out a bit
Wore this twice, once with slip underneath and once with a thin, long sleeve maroon tunic. Both looks were ok, but not great. I'll try this one more time in the small.

Very versatile dress ... used as jumper for fall
This dress is a great basic piece and very well made. I wore it three times before returning, which is unusual for me. Sorry no pictures, but here's I wore it - with crisp white shirt underneath, blue tights, blue heels - maroon shirt with pleated sleeves that belled on the ends underneath, blue tights, maroon shoes - navy and white tweed jacket over dress, blue tights and blue booties. I'll definitely rent this again. Worked great for work and can be dressed up.

Upper part of sleeves very tight
I rented this dress to wear to work. It's a lovely dress, but the fit was very off. I'm generally a 6 and rented the 6. The upper part of the sleeves were very tight and I don't have large biceps. The waist was also a bit tighter than I like, but would have worked if not for the sleeves. I may try this dress again and size up to an 8 or 10. I'll wait for other reviews before I decide.

Very cute and comfortable ... a bit short
I wore this outfit twice. Once out to dinner with my husband and once to work. In both cases I wore a short navy skirt underneath to deal with the length (it is short). This outfit comes in two parts - a slip dress and a blouse that goes over it. I loved the blouse and the mix of patterns with both piece together. The slip dress had an odd fit. I suspect I should have ordered the size 6 instead of the 8. As others have mentioned there's a band on the slip dress that hits at your hips (at least with the 8). The band was too small to hang down as a dropped waistline would and too long to sit at my waist. I couldn't figure out where it was intended to sit. I suspect it should have been at the waist. If you have concerns about your back side I wouldn't rent this as it does have ruffles that will accentuate that part of your body. Bottom Line: I will rent this outfit again as I have several other pieces in my closet that would pair well with one or both of these pieces. I will size down to a 4 or a 2 on my next rental for this outfit.

Too puffy in front ...
This top is a really cute idea. Unfortunately the way it hung in the front was not what I was looking for. The white section underneath was a bit challenging to figure out which way it should be ironed. In the end, I ironed it with a pleat to one side and used fashion tape to keep it in place. The wool (?) part of the top had too much volume for me in the front. Had it hung straight down I would have loved this look. I also found the wool to be scratchy on my skin, I wore a white button down underneath to solve that issue. Bottom line: I won't rent this again as by the end of the day I was happy to take it off and send it back.

Cute, stylish and easy to pack.
Great dress for my business trip to Europe. It worked well with a black jacket in the office and then without the jacket for dinner. Packed beautifully. No wrinkles. Fit comments: the neck is high (took one star off for this). When I first zippered it up I was worried that it would be uncomfortable, but it was fine all day. I'm a 32DD and the chest fit fine - fitted but not pulling. If you have a larger chest/band size you'll want to size up. The length was also perfect for me. Bottom line: I'll rent this again, actually I haven't returned it yet (unlimited) :-).

Didn't wear. I rented a 6R and the dress was way too big for me.
There's a lot of material in this dress. I may try a size 2 sometime in the future. There was nothing I could do - belt, shirt underneath, hemming - to make this dress fit. I tried it on 4 times before giving up and sending it back unworn.

Great dress - received ton of compliments.
I went back and forth on wearing this dress to my niece's wedding. In the end I went for it and I'm glad I did. It was the perfect dress. The dress is extremely well made and light but still was warm enough for an outdoor, well tented, wedding in New England in the fall (40 degrees outside). Fit comments: I could have probably gone a size smaller (42R), but the 44R was not noticeable big on me. The dress is very long. At 5'4" with 5 inch heels it was still an inch too long. Since I had to hew it anyway, I took it up 3 inches and wore 3 inch heels (remember outdoor wedding). The hemming was a bit tricky until I figured it out. First you need quite a bit of fashion tape. The process I followed was: tape the lining to the dress, start taping the hem up at each side of the slit and then at each of the seam lines, then hem up the parts between the seam lines. I did tape all the way around (no gaps) for both attaching the lining and the hemming. I lightly steamed the hem so everything hung correctly. This isn't as hard as it sounds once you get the hang of it. I danced all night and nothing came loose. The next day the fashion tape came off easily and I just lightly steamed the bottom of the dress. One other thing to note is that the black lace panel in front is see through. I wore a black bra and it was fine. Bottom line: I would rent this dress again for a special occasion.

Well made just not the right fit.
The dress is very well made. The issue I had was with where the lower vertical band fell. It was not flattering. If it was a bit higher or lower it would have worked. Perhaps I needed a different size.

Unfortunately didn't wear this dress
The dress is beautiful but was a little too Jessica Rabbit for me. I may have worn it anyway if the shoulder straps were not so long on me. They needed to come up a good 2 inches. A 4R would probably have fit better my concern was that it would the be too tight across the mid section.
