Git great and really comfortable. This is my favorite type of RTR rental - the type that looks great and is fun to wear, but that I dont want to keep because it's not my normal style. Had a great time wearing once and putting in the bag to return. 

I loved this dress. The contrasting patterns were great and I was a big fan of the dress/shirt combo.

This two piece dress is so perfect for a fall work day. Super easy to just throw on, but look so put together. Wore to work with booties and a long open jacket. 

Awesome fabric. I've rented the other similar styles of this that come in different patterns. Love all for work. 

I wasn't sure how the 2 piece dress was going to look but it is so cute. It doesn't look baggy or bulky like I thought it might. The colors are really pretty and it's a fun look. The skirt is a little on the short side, but not so short I couldn't wear it to work or anything. 

I rented this for work and so wish I had someplace fun to wear it to after work! The dress just makes me happy! A bit short but I wore leggings and booties.

I think the fit is true to size and very versatile.

I wore this to our family Thanksgiving and received SO many compliments! It's actually 2 pieces: a dress underneath, and a shirt you layer over. LOVE! 

Rented this dress for thanksgiving - which it would have been perfect too- but our family decided to do casual. The dress had horrible static cling in the morning since I paired with tights.  Once I got the static resolved this was one of my favorite dresses!  It is really like a three in one as you could wear under dress and shirt separately!  Overall an awesome and versatile dress! 

I'm 5'6"/140lbs/32H and the 4 was a perfect fit! I got many compliments on the set! 

Definitely runs on the short side, but is a super cute two piece dress. Got multiple compliments at work today!

Fits pretty true to size. Great fabric. A really cute outfit for work. Wish I had plans after work so I could wear this dress for happy hour or dinner. 

I loved this dress and got lots of compliments on it. Hubs said it was best dress from RTR so far.  I agree! The silk flows beautifully and the ruffled skirt is adorable.  The dress is cute on it's own but low cut-fine for evening out but def keep the shirt on for work. The band around the hips was snug but not overly so. I liked the slim fit through the waist combined with the twirly ruffled skirt.

Fun and unique dress that wore well all day. Many compliments.

Can't say enough about this Derek Lam dress!  I've ordered a few of them recently and love this one!  A great, modern look for the office!  Wore it with ankle booties to complete the look!

I wore this to work and then again over the weekend at my friends birthday party and received so many compliments. I tied the front to make it a bit more fitted but it's definitely cute undone also. My style is boho chic and this was totally fitting. 

Love this piece so much, I didn't want to send it back!!! Fabric is silky and soft. Great combination of patterns!!! Wore it work and out to brunch with some booties.

You can wear the dress, top, or both.  Rented for my grandma's 90th birthday in HK.  It is super comfy.  I wore a black short slip underneath and with a pair of gold metallic ankle boots.  It's better than a black dress; add some jewelry because the print is dark.  

Really cute colors and style was different. Loved the ruffles too. Only negative was it was slightly tight in the hips so if you are curvy you may want to size up. 

This outfit is so cute and fun, I loved it. Really comfy and unique. It definitely rides up though with tights, had to pull it down all day. Might opt for a slightly larger/longer size.

The dress was cute but the bottom half was see through, you must pair with a pair of tights! 

2 pieces for one? Sounds great, I maximized and wore the set together, buttoned up for work, unbuttoned for dinner after and then wore just the dress to brunch and just the top with high waisted jeans to work the following week. This is seriously an entire wardrobe in one dress! 

The top tahat comes with the dress is wide, ao intied it up in the fromt, cause inrhink its anlittle more flattering ro my body type. Its short, but still respectable 

I loved that the dress and shirt were seperate pieces!  I admit that I was scared to pattern mix but I loved wearing this combined.  I wore it two weekends in a row as a set and then during the weekday I paired the top with a black skirt for work.  

I rented this to wear to work and on a date. Super cute, but dangerously short if you have a larger hip area like me. The fit was ever-so-slightly off for me  - it was small in the hips and big in the waist so it kind of sagged a bit in the middle. But no matter, was super cute and got many compliments.

The store only had a 10 in stock and I am usually an 8 but went for it anyway. The top was slightly baggy but the slip dress underneath was a good contrast so I didn't end up looking like a bag. The dress part actually fit very well and is fairly tight on the hips so I'd say the dress runs small and the top runs true to size so I'd size up one size if you are in between. The ruffles on the dress were SO cute and the pattern  was amazing. The only issue I had was the fabric was very prone to static and the dress is pretty short so i was pulling at it a bit throughout the day. If you are really tall this might be pretty short. I am 5'2 for reference. 



Loved this. Almost bought it! It does run smaller than other 10 Crosby pieces (for the first layer, which does have a band that tightly goes around the hips). Great for work. A bit short when I sat down, though, due to the design of the skirt. Also blew up easily in the wind. 

What a WEIRD dress!  It's two pieces:  a spaghetti strap, dropped-waist, ruffled skirt dress with a separate loose fitting button-down shirt.  Looks just like the pix of other reviews and the model.  BUT- the cut of the dress is SO off!  It's got what I think is supposed to be a dropped waist, so that it looks like a flapper dress.  But the band at the dropped waist is too small to fit comfortably over the hips.  I'm not particularly "hippy", but I do have feminine curves.  This dress rode up in the back, and made it bunch up on the top making it very awkward and uncomfortable.  The straps kept falling off my shoulders. I originally rented a size 4 (that's all they had at the time, otherwise I'd have rented a 6 based on other reviews).  It was definitely too small, and the dropped waist sat at the top of my hips making the skirt super short - as in, WAY too short to wear in public (I'm only 5'3").  Rented it in size 8 (thinking I should skip a size after the 4 being so small) - but still too small on bottom, while the top part of the dress was too large.  All around weird cut.  Pix are of the size 8. If you have a straight/narrow frame, then this dress probably runs true to size.  If you have an hourglass figure, then the dress will just frustrate you. HOWEVER - the shirt part of the dress combo is fabulous. I've worn it with jeans and with a navy pencil skirt (in photo).  Keeping it for now just for the shirt, it's that great. The shirt gets five stars.  The dress gets 1 star just because of the fit - hence the overall 3 stars.  Just a note on color:  The dress and the shirt have a different base navy color - they don't match -the shirt is a darker navy than the dress.  

It was cooler than I anticipated, so I had to wear leggings underneath it. Different than anything I've ever worn. Liked the different patterns and was comfortable too. It is a tad shorter in the back the way the other reviews mentioned. Would recommend.

I wore this outfit twice.  Once out to dinner with my husband and once to work.  In both cases I wore a short navy skirt underneath to deal with the length (it is short).  This outfit comes in two parts - a slip dress and a blouse that goes over it.  I loved the blouse and the mix of patterns with both piece together.  The slip dress had an odd fit.  I suspect I should have ordered the size 6 instead of the 8.  As others have mentioned there's a band on the slip dress that hits at your hips (at least with the 8).  The band was too small to hang down as a dropped waistline would and too long to sit at my waist.  I couldn't figure out where it was intended to sit.  I suspect it should have been at the waist.  If you have concerns about your back side I wouldn't rent this as it does have ruffles that will accentuate that part of your body.

Bottom Line:  I will rent this outfit again as I have several other pieces in my closet that would pair well with one or both of these pieces.  I will size down to a 4 or a 2 on my next rental for this outfit.

For try to size and I lived it you can wear it so many different ways and the colors were perfect for fall! 

This was shorter and more see through on the than it looked on the model. I am taller with a longer waist and the skirted bottom wouldn't ride low enough for me to cover my tush. Ended up wearing with navy tights and it was passable but tall girls beware.  

Very comfortable. Was a little short in the back and rested strangely on hips as others have mentioned. Loved it overall.

Loved dress! A bit snug in cheat area.. but because of the too layer you cant tell and it wasn't tight enough to bother me. Really cute and comfortable.
